...
Looking at his improved status panel, Jareth was shocked even when he knew that he had beco very strong compared to before.
Not only was his fire magic now at the absolute max of grade-1, but he had also learned two new types of magic: curse magic and forbidden magic.
All of his skills were now max level, as he had received a trendous amount of knowledge and experience from the information he received.
His base stats broke through the physical limits of a mortal body, which is ’100,’ and went beyond it.
His entire body beca several tis stronger as all of his stats were pushed to the very limits.
The max base stats of a peak grade-1 are ’199’; after that is the territory of grade-0 level beings, and Jareth can’t break this limit yet, as the sea of endless miasma has suppressed the ’law’ of ’mana’ on this planet.
His base stats, especially ’Int,’ received a massive boost, and his mind beca so strong that he can use telekinesis even without casting any spells now, as he can just do it with his mind power alone.
Aside from stats, Jareth received the new title ’Relay Race: Final Torch Bearer,’ which describes his status as the final person who got to witness the entire tragic history of all the races that died due to the sea of endless miasma.
His existence proves that he’s the one carrying the final hope of all races that struggled against miasma and its horrifying banes.
And finally, there’s the ’Unknown Fragnt,’ which he has no idea about.
...
[An Unknown Fragnt (???):
- ???
- ?? ...Need more fragnts...(1/???)...???]
...
Aside from giving him a ton of information, there were still a lot of mysteries hidden in this fragnt.
It delivered all that information to him, but Jareth still could not understand what this item actually was.
It definitely wasn’t just a simple history recorder; there was definitely more to it.
’It’s telling to collect more of them... Perhaps I will know if I find more of them...’
After looking at his status panel, Jareth felt a new sense of confidence rise inside him.
’Now I am much stronger than ever before...’
The only thing that made Jareth feel a bit troubled was the ’credit points.’
Originally, Jareth had a lot of them, but a lot of them were used up by the system to keep him alive and sane when such a massive amount of information entered his mind.
Jareth lost a lot of them, and only ’4000’ are left now.
But the loss of the ’credit points’ wasn’t the main reason why Jareth was troubled.
’4000 credit points, the exact amount I need to buy an attack enhancent card... not one more, not one less... it’s so precise as if...’
’As if the system left this number on purpose, it’s giving a signal to buy the enhancent card indirectly... Sigh... having your destiny read over and over is such a troubleso thing...’
If Jareth could reach grade-0, he would basically be a demigod, and it would beco extrely difficult for the system to read his destiny anymore.
That way, his life will not be controlled by the commands of the system.
Although the system is helping him and is trying its best to make him get out of the sea of endless miasma, Jareth does not want to overly depend on it.
He doesn’t want soone or sothing to control or read his threads of destiny all the ti.
’If only there was so skill or power that could block others from peeping into my destiny...’
Jareth could only sigh and shake his head while thinking about this.
The power to hide threads of destiny or even sever them is way beyond what a grade-1 or even a grade-0 level being can do; it’s not sothing that any random individual can do.
’This system is subtly influencing the threads of destiny... which ans this system is definitely not a simple existence... I wonder what force or power is behind its creation...’
Right now, Jareth cannot get rid of the system or whatever power that has created it, as he’s not strong enough; thus, he can only go with the flow.
[Ding! Are you sure you want to purchase an ’Attack Enhancent Card (Advance)?]
[Yes or No]
’Yes.’
[Ding! You have purchased an ’Attack Enhancent Card (Advance)!]
After he was done examining the changes in his body and purchasing a new enhancent card, Jareth brought out the artifact that was keeping Rororon inside it.
[Forbidden Magic: Seal Shattering: Miasmic Curse Breaker!]
Jareth used a massive amount of mana to use a powerful forbidden magic and directly shattered the curse placed on Rororon.
The curse placed on him was one that corrupted him slowly over ti and caused him to be restricted to one region.
This forced him to stay in the forest of hatred for several decades and watch his entire race die out.
’Now that I think about it... perhaps eting Rororon was also one of the coincidences that was created by the changes in the ’Strings’ of ’Destiny’...’
There was no Rororon in the ga, and it was said that the fairy king was long dead, but Jareth t him.
This is likely the result of Jareth’s own butterfly effects; he changed many strings of destiny with his choices, and he changed the entire course of this world’s destiny.
Which likely changed Rororon’s fate.
Perhaps, Rororon died in the original story by the ti the players managed to clear the ga and reach the late stages of the ga where they had to conquer the ’Wailing Hills’ area.
There are millions of possibilities and causes that might have brought this coincidence, but Jareth didn’t care; he was, in fact, happy that such a coincidence happened.
Rororon proved to be a very good helper in this expedition, and Jareth might have never found the basent where the ’Unknown Fragnt’ was stored if not for him.
That’s why Jareth decided to free the poor guy in return to repay the debt.
*O-oh! Thanks... I didn’t expect I will one day be able to roam free on this planet once again... but it don’t really have a place to go...*
"Then just co with ... I am sure you will find it quite amusing in the human empire... hmm, but you will have to stay inside this artifact or people might get scared of you..."
*Sigh... humans... Forget it; I don’t really have much of a choice anyway. let go...*
Jareth nodded his head and looked at the dark cloudy sky as he spoke.
"Let’s go; let go back to where it all started..."
