[At The Nesis, On The Ground Below The Battle In The Air]
Inside the briefing room, Mavis and the rest of the mages were staggered by the sudden thud the ship got.
"Attention: I have teleported the ship to the ground." Felicity's voice was heard through the loudspeakers, "Assuming Land Traversing Mode."
From the outside, it could be seen that the massive battleship suddenly sprouted tank treads so massive, that they could tower over a building of any city. The Nesis then slowly began to move, the treads turning as they moved the ship.
Mavis looked around, "We're on the ground?" she asked, "What's the status of Jason and Kagura? They're locked in battle with a Shield!"
"I suggest we worry about the fleet that was about to engage us." Felicity said, "Master Jason has his battle under control."
Mavis frowned, "But..." she started
Suddenly, there was a massive explosion that erupted at the deck that shook the entire ship violently.
Mavis looked outside to see several magic cannon-fire hit around the ship and on it, causing massive explosions.
"Alert: Airship Fleet above us, firing at us." Felicity said, "Defenses will be up shortly, I will return fire with the available artillery, brace yourself for any impact resulting from the attack."
Several magic cannons aid up at the fleet of Airships that had surprisingly appeared in a very fast manner. Almost instantaneously, they fired back, sending massive beams of pure magic power at the ships, exploding a couple in a single direct hit each.
Mavis nodded, "Okay!" She said as she looked at the others, "Prepare for battle! This is the air ambush all over again!"
As she said this, a bright blue light appeared on the deck of the ship. As this happened, Mavis and the others ran out to the deck to feel a massive pressure.
"Whoa!" Cana said as she stopped in her tracks, "What's with this magic?!"
"Juvia feels threatened...." Juvia said as she stopped in front of Mavis
"It's a Shield...." Mavis said as stood there, "Ready yourselves, this will not be an easy fight...."
As the light disappeared, dozens of soldiers appeared, readying their weapons as they stood there.
Then, from the crowd of soldiers, a single man appeared. He was wearing his hair in a ponytail as he had a smug look on his face. This was the one that they could feel the imnse magic power from; this was Neinhart, one of Spriggan 12.
"Hm..." Neinhart said as he had his hand on his chin, "Isn't this interesting....so this is where the massive artillery fire ca from, huh? Completely obliterating a town just to get , eh? Aren't you a ruthless bunch."
Mavis scowled, "How is it any different than what you are doing?!" She said
Neinhart looked at Mavis, "Hm..?" He said, "You look familiar.....Wait....aren't you the one His Majesty is after? Oh no, this is not good. I must report this to him, tell him his target isn't at Magnolia....No matter. after Dimaria handles Jason and I take care of things here....I'll deliver you to him myself."
Cana frowned, "What makes you think you'll get past us?!" She yelled
Juvia nodded, "Yea, Juvia and Cana-san shall take you on!"
Neinhart chuckled, "Oh, dear ." He said, "I sincerely doubt that."
Mavis readied a stance, "Get ready." she said, "We don't know what he's capable."
Before anything could happen, there was a loud static coming from the loudspeakers around them.
"Spriggan 12: Neinhart." Felicity's voice could be heard, "Magic: Historia of The Dead. Allows him to peer into the mind of his opponent and conjure up clones of the dead people of the person's past, using them for battle; both physical and psychological."
Neinhart frowned, "What?" he said, "Who said that? How do you know that?!"
"He also uses elental magic." Felicity continued, "Regardless, his Historia of The Dead will be a troubleso match for you. Therefore, I shall take care of this."
"Oh?" Neinhart said, "Take care of how?!"
Mavis looked confused, "W-What do you an, Felicity?"
There was a massive rumbling that could be heard from the ship, the entire deck shaking as everyone looked down in confusion.
"His magic does not work on those that do not live." Felicity explained, "aning, this will be simple work for HC-1."
Suddenly, alarms was being sounded around the ship as lights began to flare violently.
"Attention: Deploying Heavy Cavalry."
As those words were being announced, the portion of the deck that was between Mavis and Neinhart imdiately opened, releasing imnse pressure as they all felt an unusual and ominous magic power.
Neinhart frowned, "What now?" He said with an irritated tone
Without warning, a massive cha launched itself from inside the deck, flying straight into the air and stopping itself several dozen ters above the deck. The speed that this happen was so fast that it surprised everyone on the deck.
"Oi oi oi!!" one of the soldiers said, "What the hell is that?!"
It was a massive dark grey ch that had a stocky but sturdy body and legs, with two massive Gatling guns on its forearms. On its shoulders, two massive needle-like cannons were mounted. It's strange square-like head looked down at Neinhart and his soldiers as it's single circular light began to glow red.
"Autonomous Cavalry: HC-1: The D0C"
As the words were announced, the ch raised its right arm and pointed the Gatling Gun at Neinhart.
"Don't worry about the deck, it can handle the damage, D0C." Felicity said, "These are your Orders: "
"Annihilate The Enemy"
