The boy's eyes shot open, his heart hamring in his chest as he sat up in bed, his mind spinning in a chaotic blur. The room around him was unfamiliar—small, cozy, with wooden walls and the faint sll of herbs hanging in the air. Panic gripped him as he tried to understand where he was.
"What... where am I?" His voice trembled as his gaze darted around, searching for anything that might explain the strange setting. mories of the previous night felt distant, like fragnts of a fading dream. He had been at ho, playing gas... had he fallen asleep?
"It must be a dream," he thought, desperately clinging to that hope. But it shattered instantly when a sharp pain shot through his left arm, or rather, where his left arm should have been.
He looked down in horror, his breath catching in his throat. The space where his arm should be was gone, replaced by empty air. Panic surged through him, and his hand instinctively reached for the void, only to be t with a wave of pain so intense it made him cry out.
His voice echoed in the room, the sharp cry of fear and confusion. Monts later, the door creaked open, and an elderly man stepped inside. His face was weathered but kind, his eyes full of concern.
"Are you alright?" the old man asked, his voice calm and steady, despite the situation.
The boy turned to him, desperation clear in his eyes. "What... What's happening? Where am I?" His voice cracked, the panic threatening to break him down completely.
The old man took a step closer, raising his hands in a calming gesture. "Take it easy, boy. If you thrash around too much, the pain will only get worse."
The boy clenched his teeth, forcing himself to breathe slowly, to calm his racing heart. The pain lessened slightly, and with it, the fog in his mind began to lift.
"Where am I?" he repeated, his voice quieter, though still shaking.
The old man sat down beside the bed, his movents slow and deliberate. "My na's Ronald. This is my house. I found you near the mountains, unconscious and in a bad state. I brought you here to help you recover."
Ronald picked up a bowl of steaming soup from a nearby table and handed it to the boy. "Eat sothing. Rest for now. We'll talk more later."
The boy hesitated, the situation too surreal to fully comprehend. But eventually, he took the bowl, the warmth of it seeping into his chilled hands. As Ronald stood to leave, closing the door behind him, the boy was left alone with his thoughts.
The reality of it all sank in slowly. This wasn't a dream. The strange room, the pain in his arm—it was all real. And that made the questions swirl even faster in his mind.
"How is this possible?" he whispered to himself. "What happened to ?"
Had he been transported to another world? Reincarnated? Was this his new life now? Panic clawed at him again, but before he could spiral into that familiar dread, a sudden chi echoed in his mind.
Ding!
A monotone voice, emotionless and robotic, rang through his thoughts.
"System has activated and successfully bound to host by !@?*^#@# entity."
The boy froze, his breath catching in his throat. A system? His heart raced in shock. He'd read enough stories to know what this could an. A system... it could be his lifeline. A cheat.
He opened his mouth to speak, to ask sothing—anything—but the voice in his head cut him off.
Ding! Body scan complete. Host is in poor physical condition with a missing arm. System will initiate automatic repair. Host will fall unconscious during the process.
Before he could react, a wave of dizziness hit him like a freight train. His body trembled as a strange, tingling sensation coursed through him. The pain flared again, and in an instant, everything around him blurred and faded into darkness.
He collapsed back onto the bed, his consciousness slipping away as the sensation overwheld him, and just like that, he was unconscious once more
It felt like an eternity, but eventually, Rudra awoke, the searing pain that had gripped his body now faded into nothingness. He sat up, breathing deeply, and imdiately heard a chi in his head.
Ding! Body repair complete.
The boy blinked, taking in the reality of his situation. As the fog in his mind cleared, he straightened up and, unable to hold back his growing confusion, asked aloud, "System, where am I? And what is this place?"
The system's monotone voice answered imdiately.
Ding! "Host has transmigrated to the Kingdom of Fiore."
Rudra's eyes widened in shock. "The Kingdom of Fiore? As in the Fairy Tail world?"
Ding! "Correct, host."
Annoyed by the persistent chi, Rudra scowled. "Can you remove this ding? It's getting on my nerves."
"Affirmative, host."
Relief washed over him as the constant noise stopped. He leaned back against the headboard, taking a steadying breath. "Show my status," he said.
A blue screen materialized before him, displaying his details.

As he processed the information, Rudra's fingers hovered over the interface. His curiosity piqued, he started to explore. The Class option intrigued him, so he expanded it, revealing a wide range of choices.
###
Class Options:
Mage
Swordsman
Knight
Ninja
Beast Tar
Archer
Berserker
Paladin

Rudra scanned through the list, each class offering its own set of possibilities. The Mage class caught his attention with its potential for elental mastery. The Knight, too, seed like a strong option, built for defense and raw combat power. But in the end, Rudra found himself drawn to the Swordsman class—the perfect blend of agility and precision.
He reached out and selected Swordsman, but then hesitated. The second class choice was more difficult. Should he complent his swordsmanship with a solid Knight build, or perhaps go for sothing more underhanded like Assassin? Maybe sothing more adaptable?
Unable to decide, Rudra looked to the system. "System, pick the second class for ," he said, a little impatient but intrigued.
The system responded instantly.
"Affirmative. Second class selected: Ninja."
###
Class Selection Complete:
Swordsman
Ninja

Rudra's eyes widened at the unexpected but exciting combination. Swordsman and Ninja—the perfect mix of skill and stealth. He could already feel the potential of this duo.
"Well, that works," he muttered to himself, feeling a bit more at ease with his decision.
The system chid again, "Status will now change according to selected classes."
The blue screen updated:

Rudra took in the new stats. While his physical stats were on the lower end, his Intelligence was notably high, and his Willpower was above average. He'd need to improve his physical abilities, but that could co later. What caught his attention most was the sudden, unsettling realization.
He looked down at his left hand, expecting to see it restored to normal after the system's repair. But instead, he was t with sothing far more disturbing—his hand was now demonic in appearance, glowing faintly with a strange, eerie energy.
A cold chill crept up his spine. He stared at the hand, its design all too familiar. This... this looks like the demon hand from Devil May Cry.
His mind raced, trying to process the bizarre transformation. He had seen this kind of hand in video gas, but never imagined he'd end up with one himself.
"System," Rudra asked, his voice tense, "why is my hand like this? Why isn't it normal?"
"The hand's current form is due to the previous owner of this body," the system responded.
Rudra froze. The previous owner of this body? His mind raced with the implications. What had happened to the previous owner before he took over? How had their body ended up in this state? The questions piled up, but there were too many unknowns for him to tackle all at once. He sighed, deciding not to dwell on it for now.
"Later," he murmured to himself, trying to push the unsettling thoughts aside.
Exhaustion began to creep in again. His body, still recovering from the ordeal, demanded rest. He lay back down, letting his thoughts drift as sleep slowly overtook him. He'd figure things out when he was more rested. For now, he needed to recharge.
