As he has promised, Alex will take care of Wendy and Carla now. They have joined Fairy Tail and the first thing he does after that is prepare their basic needs, obviously. Housing, clothes, food, he will take care of everything.
Alex rents a dorm room in Fairy Hill, the girls' dormitory for them. Cana and other girl mbers live there, so they will have older sisters ready to help them anyti. They also don't need to worry about food there because the dorm mother will make their food every day, which is also the reason why the rent is quite high.
After securing a place for them to sleep, Alex buys them clothes. They only have a few sets of clothes, which won't be enough. So they need to buy more and Alex is ready to spend a lot of money because he knows girl clothes are expensive.
But surprisingly, the older girls gave Wendy their old clothes that don't fit anymore but still look good. The adult mbers also suddenly give them clothes even though they don't have daughters, so it's obvious that they buy those clothes specifically for Wendy and Carla.
Both of them imdiately beca the Guild's most loved mbers. Well, they do bring a very positive atmosphere into the Guild. While Wendy is shy and timid, she's also very cheerful and innocent that just her presence alone can soothe everyone's heart.
They've been used to rowdy and noisy people who don't have manners. So the peaceful vibe that Wendy brings into the Guild is a very good change of mood for them.
Anyway, taking care of them also ans that Alex is responsible for their education too. They are Mages, so he needs to teach them Magic. It doesn't sound like sothing he can do though, especially when the only Magic he can use is Take Over Magic, a part of Transformation Magic.
"Well, I can't teach you about your Sky Dragon Slayer Magic and I believe no one other than Grandeeney can teach that too. What I can teach you is how to improve your magic control, increase your magic power capacity, and maybe physical strength. Basically increasing your basic power. Actually, training your basic power is more important at your current level. Your Magic is an advanced type and it needs a lot of magic power to use."
"Y-yes. I can't use spells properly because I don't have enough magic power." Wendy looks down dejectedly.
"You're still very young, so it's normal to have a low amount of magic power. But having a lot of magic power alone isn't enough, you know. You also need to have good control over your magic power to use it more efficiently."
"Is magic control that important?" Carla asks curiously.
"It is. Try to grab so pebbles with 1 hand." Alex tells them to grab so pebbles from the ground and they do it even though they don't know what he wants to do.
"Now throw them at that tree." They throw the pebbles at a tree beside them. The pebbles spread and only so hit the tree.
Then Alex tells them to wrap a similar amount of pebbles with a cloth he gives. He asks them to throw it again and now all the pebbles hit the tree, thanks to them being wrapped with a cloth, so they don't separate.
"Those pebbles are your magic power and that cloth is the control. It controls the pebbles, preventing them from spreading uncontrollably. When they weren't controlled well, the pebbles spread when thrown. Only so hit the tree, so the damage you caused on the tree is small. But when the pebbles are wrapped well with the cloth, all of them can hit the tree, giving maximum damage to it. The sa applies to when you use your magic power for your spells. With poor control, you will waste a lot of magic power and weaken your spells. The greater your control, the less you will waste your magic power to fuel your spells, that's why it's very important. Do you understand what I say?"
Wendy and Carla are too surprised to answer. They never thought that Alex could teach and explain this well. After all, while they know that he is an excellent Mage, they also know that he is not exactly a smart one.
"Are you just acting stupid all this ti?" Carla can't help but ask, making Wendy scold her.
"Hmm? Oh, don't worry, I'm not that smart. That was just what my teacher taught . I just repeated the lesson I got from my teacher."
The teacher that taught him magic control is not Ur or Gildarts though, it was Matatabi. Ur actually taught him the basics of magic control, but the Tailed Beasts are much better at that, although Matatabi was the only one who could explain and taught it to him because Shukaku was not that smart either.
"Who is your teacher, Alex-san?" Wendy asks curiously.
"Hmm, I learned from many people, but there are 2 Mages who truly took their ti to teach . The first one is the current Guild Master of rmaid Heel. Her na is Ur and she is also Gray's teacher. Gray learned his Ice magic from her, but I couldn't learn Ice Magic, so she taught other things including battle skills and basic magic training. The 2nd one is Cana's father, our Guild's Ace, Gildarts. He taught more about battle skills and physical training."
"Then how did you learn your Take Over Magic if they didn't teach you?"
"I was born with it." Alex says it while smirking, making Wendy and Carla think that he doesn't want to reveal it.
They don't realize that he is telling the truth here because he really was born in this world along with the Tailed Beasts even though they were sealed when he was born. So he is basically born as a Take Over Mage, already with the magical creatures he can transform into.
Though he also doesn't want to tell them that his Magic was activated when he was used as an experintal subject. He doesn't need to share that past with anyone because he doesn't need anyone's sympathy. They just need to know the current and future him.
Alex trains Wendy and Carla seriously. He wants them to be stronger than they are in the story. He wants them to be stronger than they should be when the ti for those important events cos.
Wendy is the youngest Dragon Slayer from all the Dragon Slayers. She should be the sa age as Sting and Rogue. However, she was frozen for 7 years in Tenrou Island while those 2 keep growing normally.
So she basically becos 7 years younger than them. The 7 years of being frozen in Fairy Sphere also makes her has the least amount of ti to train and develop her magic among all Dragon Slayers.
Alex thinks that Wendy's Magic might be the most important among all Dragon Slayers, especially in a big scale war. Her attack power might be lower than them because he thinks that even Grandeeney is the weakest among all those 5 Dragons in battles.
However, the Sky Dragon's support magic skills are truly ga changers. This magic can basically strengthen the whole army significantly and heal the injured ones, which would change the flow of a war greatly.
Carla's future sight ability is also very powerful. It can help them greatly, especially now that Alex has changed so many things which will affect the future. If Carla can foresee pieces of the changed future events, then they can prevent the bad futures.
The problem is Alex doesn't know how to train their abilities, so he can only teach them to train their basic power. No matter how they develop their abilities, they still need to have strong basic power, after all.
Alex doesn't just help them train, but he also takes them on his jobs. Of course, he can't bring them to do his S-Class jobs. So he takes easy jobs once in a while to give them experience and also helps them earn their own money.
But then, he starts babysitting more kids. Gray and Natsu ask him to train them too once in a while. Then Erza and even the Strauss siblings also ask for his advice once in a while.
They even ask to join him in his jobs and he agrees sotis when he is alone. Cana wants to do jobs alone and follow her father sotis. So Alex can take other people with him to help him in his jobs.
Thanks to him partnering up with these main characters, he can understand their current levels more. He can also learn so things from them because sotis they will do things that he has never thought of but actually works.
Ti passes with Alex being busy with everything he does. He is so busy that he doesn't realize that the magic power he got from Nirvana has been fully absorbed by the Tailed Beasts. However, there seems to be a problem.
