After Blaze's big announcent, Maria asked to speak with the couple privately in the open lounge area of the mansion. She instructed Henry and Eugene to continue with their al while she asked the maids to bring Alia's dessert along with her.
"Blaze, make sure your wife is comfortable. I'll be back shortly." Maria bead, as she hurried towards the stairs.
Acting the part of an impeccable gentleman, Blaze led Alia into the opulent lounge area of the mansion. He ushered her to a seat that was directly opposite the magnificent floor-to-ceiling window, giving her an impressive view of the setting sun. He took her dessert and wine tray from the maids and asked them to leave as he set the tray before his wife.
From the top landing of the stairs, Maria stood there, silently watching them in complete awe. She wanted to see how they would fare together alone without any interruption.
"Are you comfortable sweetheart?" Blaze looked up to et Alia's srizing gaze staring right back at him.
"Being a gentleman suits you better."
Blaze arched his brow at her. He leisurely took his seat beside her, his mischievous eyes never leaving her. "Is that supposed to be a complint?"
"Yes." Alia smiled picking up her glass of wine and taking a sip. She inhaled, her cheeks giving up a captivating glow as she watched the setting sun -the soothing colours bringing out feelings of serenity and tranquillity. "It's beautiful." She whispered.
Blaze found it difficult to look away from her. He was enthralled by the warm glow of her skin and the feeling of awe in her presence. For a mont, he found himself longing for her soft touch which seed to evoke a strange magic in him. He moved closer to her and touched her lightly on her left hand which was resting on her thigh.
Alia jerked a little, snapping out of her thoughts.
"What? Did you say sothing?"
"No. But I was going to say you look beautiful this evening."
"Oh...thanks." Alia eyed him suspiciously wondering what was going on in his ssed up mind. "You look equally handso and smart in those leather outfits."
"So you noticed," Blaze said picking up her plate of whipped cream and berries dessert.
"You're supposed to say thanks when soone complints you." Alia rolled her eyes at him, regretting it almost imdiately.
Blaze, who was about to hand her the plate of dessert decided against it.
"Blaze, I'm sorry. It was a reflex action." Alia whispered, inwardly stroking herself for allowing Blaze to crawl under her skin.
"I'm sure it was." He said, his mischievous expression unreadable. He scooped a spoonful of the whipped cream and berries and raised it up close to Alia's mouth.
"Open your mouth," Blaze commanded in a firm but soft voice.
"Blaze..." Alia could suspect he had sothing sneaky up his sleeves.
"Would you rather I kiss you here?"
"Good heavens! No!" Alia's cheeks reddened.
"Then, it is settled. I will feed you instead." Blaze brought the spoon closer to her lips. "Say aaa.."
"One spoon only." Alia tried to bargain.
"I'd rather go for the kiss."
"How about two spoons." Alia would have gone for the kiss if it was just a quick one. But with Blaze, kissing was very intimately slow and pleasurable, which always evoked an erotic desire in her.
"Three spoons." Alia pleaded.
"Five spoons and it's a deal."
Alia clenched her fist, her eyes shooting flares at him. "Fine, but make it quick."
"I will do my best." A smile crept up Blaze's face as he gave her the first spoon.
Alia tried to turn her face the other way but Blaze stopped her. "Where is the fun in feeding you if I can watch you eat it."
Alia lowered her gaze, cursing Blaze in her heart as she hurriedly chewed on the fruit and said. "Give the next one."
"Slow down, honey, so that you don't choke." Blaze drawled as he leisurely took another mouth-sized dessert.
By the ti Alia was taking the fifth spoon from Blaze, Maria finally showed up, holding a dium-sized fancy box and a jewelry box.
"Aww...so cute." Maria cooed.
Alia's cheeks were as red as an overripe tomato as she lowered her head in embarrassnt.
"But Blaze for it to be truly unique, your wife has to feed you too," Maria suggested.
"No Mom, she doesn't have to."
"I want to." Alia lifted her head up, to look at Blaze, her eyes brimming with revenge.
"See, she wants to feed you too. Give her the plate" Maria sat down opposite them, feeling amused.
"I'm not a fan of blueberries. So one spoon will do."
"Okay, sweetheart." Alia collected the plate from him and scooped an oversized mouthful of the dessert, picking most of the strawberries. "Say aaa...."
Blaze smiled at Alia's mischievous grin as she raised the spoon to his mouth. He slowly opened his mouth, holding his humorous gaze.
Alia clumsily fed him the desert, saring the whipped cream on his nose and upper lips.
"Oops! How clumsy of ."
"Hahaha..." Maria burst out laughing.
Blaze, who was about to get angry was captivated to hear his mother laughing so heartily. It had been a long ti since he saw her this happy and he didn't want to ruin the mood.
"You got , honey." Blaze picked up a napkin and cleaned the ss Alia made on his nose.
"Sorry." Alia smiled turning her face away in satisfaction.
"So Mum, what do you have for us in those boxes?" Blaze asked turning all serious again.
"You'll find out soon enough," Maria said putting the box dium fancy aside and holding out the jewelry box to Alia. Since I wasn't invited to your secret marriage, permit to give you your first wedding gift as my daughter-in-law.
"Wow!" Alia stood up and accepted the jewelry box with trembling hands before taking her seat. Guilt was clearly written on her forehead. She slowly opened it, her jaws dropping at the rare and intricately designed pearl necklace inside the box worth millions of dollars.
