Alia awoke to the tender feathery kiss of her husband, and the lingering sll of roses and lavender, tickling her senses and feeling her with so much happiness.

The warmth of Blaze's nude skin pressed against hers, the growing intensity of his kisses and the possessiveness of his touch awoken a fire inside of her.

Even though her body felt tired from their intense lovemaking the previous night, she couldn't just get enough of him. Especially when she knew these special monts wouldn't be coming anyti soon.

Slowly turning to the other side to face him, her brightly shining eyes glimring with so much affection, she cooed.

"Good morning, my love."

"Good morning, darling. Did you sleep well?" Blaze tenderly stroked the side of her face, neatly tucking her hair behind her ear.

"Like a baby." Alia leaned closer, kissing him on the lips, while her right hand gently caressed his hair, ruffling in a bit.

Blaze's hands found their way to her sensitive boobs, stroking and fondling them tenderly while eliciting a deep moan out of her.

Within seconds, they were both entangled under the sheet, body moulded as one, generating enough heat to thaw the ice outside the prison facility.

Ti flew by so slowly as Blaze soaked himself in the overwhelming passion of Alia's warmth until the world beneath them trembled violently, bringing an end to their intense lovemaking.

With heart pounding and sweat dripping off their skin, Blaze showered Alia's face and body with hot kisses, causing her to giggle.

"I don't feel like letting you go."

Blaze whispered into her ears at so point, the thought of being alone again after she left crippling his heart.

"I don't feel like leaving either." Alia's shimring eyes mirrored his thoughts and pain.

"Maybe I could stay for another day. I don't have to go imdiately."

Blaze shook his head even though his heart wanted her to stay.

"The prison is not a safe place for you or our child to be in."

"I know!" Alia looked sideways, tears sliding down the side of her face. "But I'm going to miss you so much."

" too." Blaze pulled her into his arms, kissing her on the forehead before resting his head on her. "But we'll see each other soon."

An idea popped into Alia's head and she quickly pulled away from Blaze.

"Maybe I should visit you every two weeks until you're released. In that way, we both get to see each other more often."

"No, my love." Blaze sat up, his expression turning all serious as he stared into his wife's slightly hurt gaze.

"I know how much you want us to be together, but it's not safe for you to co here. You have no idea what is going on out there. There was a reason why I didn't want you to co at first. It's not because I don't miss you so much or I'm not dying here of loneliness. Rather, it is because of the volatile danger lurking around this city."

Alia also sat up pulling the rumpled sheet up to her chest, her initial hurt expression morphing into alarm.

Suddenly, it felt as those soone had lowered the temperature in the room causing a chill to run down her spine.

"Volatile danger!"

"Yes, my love." Blaze moved closer to her taking her slightly trembling and cold hands into his. "I don't want to scare you my love, but you need to know what is happening. You need to know who our enemies are and what they are capable of. You need to know the kind of monsters your husband is dealing with both within and outside this facility. We can't fall prey to their traps. Because if we do, the results might be fatal."

Alia's breath hitched, her pulse beating in her ears. Her heart was pounding erratically in her chest. But she summoned the courage to say.

"Tell everything."

Blaze gulped down the uneasiness building in his chest as he said calmly. "I need to show you sothing first. But you must promise not to freak out. You need to know that I am fine and I have taken care of this."

Alia nodded, her eyes twitching and her heart pounding even more wildly as different pictures were painted in her mind.

"Show ."

Blaze slowly climbed down from the bed with Alia following his every move. He picked up his briefs and slipped them on.

Walking away from the bedside, he turned on the main LED light beside the bed before turning around to back Alia.

At first, Alia didn't understand what he was trying to do.

However, her eyes imdiately fell on the conspicuous slightly lumpy and dull-looking L-shaped scar on his lower backside. She let out a wild gasp, instantly cupping her mouth with both hands.

Blaze quickly turned around and rushed back to her side.

"Oh my goodness!" Alia's teary eyes flickered with horror. "Oh God..."

"Baby... it's nothing. I swear, I'm fine." Blaze tried to reassure her but Alia shook her head forcing him to turn around so that she could see the scar again.

"Who did this to you?" Alia demanded in a vengeful trembling voice, her heart crippling at the sight of the scar.

"I already took care of that person. He won't be talking or walking for the rest of his life." Blaze replied holding Alia's frightful gaze.

"Oh my god!" Alia suddenly beca conscious of her environnt, her eyes darting towards the door. "Blaze, we need to get you out of this place. It's not safe. I don't want to lose you. I can't..."

"You won't." Blaze hugged Alia tenderly, stroking her hair. "Neither do I plan on losing you either."

"Huh!" Alia was stunned by Blaze's words.

"Yes, my love." Blaze wiped Alia's tears with his thumb. "These people are relentless. They have tried severally to get to but failed. Right now, they are aiming at a soft target. Do you have any idea that you, Mom and Henry were followed all the way from Salvine City to this place?"

"What!" Alia gasped, her eyes widened in horror.
