Just then, one of the prison guards stepped into the room, breaking up the chitchat.
"Mr Anderson, it's ti." The prison guard announced politely.
"Thanks, Carl." Blaze sinister gaze was instantly replaced with an appreciative smile. The warden security had given him more than the ti he bargained for and he was grateful.
Maria hurried over to her son, to hug him goodnight. She whispered again in his ears not to ever leave Alia out of his sight which he nodded to with a reassuring smile.
"I promise, I won't, mom." Blaze kissed her on the forehead. He waited as she hugged Alia again before releasing her to him.
Maria placed Alia's hand in Blaze.
"Take good care of yourselves and stay away from trouble. I love you two." Maria blew kisses to them as two other guards reentered the visiting room to escort them out.
"Henry, rember, not a word," Blaze called out to him and later nodded while holding Maria protectively on the shoulder.
Alia jerked a little as the door to the visiting room was shut, leaving her alone with Blaze and the uniford guard.
"Honey, shall we." Blaze coaxed smoothly, while the guard waited patiently.
Alia swallowed the lump that had ford in her throat as she tightened her hold on Blaze's arm, her gaze flickering towards the prison guard who was smiling at her. She didn't feel as confident anymore as she was earlier.
She never thought that one day, being married to Blaze would result in her spending a night in prison with him.
Taking a deep breath to steady her pounding heart, she took one bold step and another until she observed that they had left the visiting room.
They went through two security checks, with the prison officers on duty affording Alia the highest form of respect.
True to Blaze's word, they didn't co in contact with any inmate until they arrived at his prison accommodation. It was a tal door with an automated lock system.
"This is it. Are you ready to be my prison roommate for tonight?" Blaze nuzzled Alia on the neck, causing her to giggle.
"I'm still considering it."
An automated click sounds caused the door to open.
"Can you lock the door from inside?" Alia asked, her soft voice laced with anxiety at the thought of soone gaining access to the room while they were sleeping.
"Yes." Blaze nodded, his eyes brimming with so much affection. "I want you to close your eyes."
"Huh!" Alia's pupils dilated.
"Trust ." Blaze blinked twice, still beaming.
"Okay."
"No peeking."
Alia giggled. "I promise I won't."
She inhaled and exhaled before closing her eyes.
"Here we go," Blaze whispered.
She felt him take her hand and lead her inside the cozy and warm room which felt like a little haven. She heard another automated click, followed by a tal locking sound.
Then she felt Blaze's hand take her again guiding her gently into the room.
The sll of fresh roses with a blend of lavender, mint and mandarin filled her nostrils, invoking a sensual longing deep within her.
"Stop right here and don't move or open your eyes," Blaze instructed in a sexy voice, dripping with so much excitent.
"Okay." Alia was beaming like a Christmas light, as her nostrils kept picking up amazing fragrances and aromas. She could already perceive a mouth-watering distinctive aroma of turkey chilli with smoked paprika and a hint of lemon. She could also perceive sweet potato and roasted salmon, almost as though she was standing inside a restaurant.
Suddenly, the room was alive with the sound of her favourite R&B music.
"What are you up to?" Alia's voice trembled slightly as she waited breathlessly for Blaze to co to her. She could hear a lot of movent as if he was fixing so things.
"Two minutes more, darling." Blaze pleaded.
"Hurry up." Alia chuckled, her palms, a little sweaty and itchy.
She was vibing to the background music when she felt Blaze standing close to her.
"Now you can open your eyes?"
"Okay." Alia slowly fluttered her eyes open. She didn't prepare her mind for the srizing sight before her, which completely swept off her feet.
Before Alia was her husband, looking sexy and handso just like the man she fell in love with.
Blaze was no longer wearing the prison uniform from earlier.
Rather, he was decked in a simple but elegant royal blue suit and holding a captivating bouquet of red roses.
On the floor were red flower petals arranged in such an artistic way with flickering candle lights.
On the immaculate big-sized bed was a bold heart shape designed with red and white rose petals.
On the head of the bed were fancy gold and red balloons that spelled the words, I love you.
More heart-shaped red and gold balloons, with curly strings tied to the end floated above them, like magical floating lamps.
On a beautifully decorated table was a bottle of fruit wine, wine glasses and so steaming delicacies.
This didn't look like a prison accommodation one bit. It was as though Alia was standard in a magical love nest with her husband.
Alia's vision, which was turning blurry with shimring tears ca to rest on the handso man before her.
"You did all of this for ?"
"If I could, I'll do more because you deserve the whole world." Blaze's deep and silky baritone voice struck every chord of love in Alia's heart.
She tried to speak as she collected the bouquet from him. But words suddenly failed her.
Rather tears stread down her flushed cheeks, her lips and body trembling.
"Hey, sweetie, don't cry." Blaze pulled her into his arms, stroking her soft textured hair. "We are together now and all I want to see are your beautiful smiles."
Alia nodded, wrapping her arms around her husband's neck and resting her head on his chest. "I miss you so much."
"I miss you more, my love." Blaze buried his face in her hair, filling his lungs with her fruity and natural scent.
"I feel so lonely since you left. Life feels so depressing without you by my side. I just want you to co back ho. All I want is you and nothing more."
"I will, baby." Blaze kissed Alia on the centre of her head. "I'm doing everything to co back to you. I just need you to be a little bit patient. I'll be ho before you know it and we'll be together forever."
Alia nodded her head, tightening her grip around Blaze, his warm embrace and his tender kiss soothing her aching heart.
They both moved silently to the gentle rhythm of the R&B music, shunning the world around them.
As Blaze's hand snaked around Alia's waist, she lifted her head from his chest to look into his glimring grey orbs, which were twinkling like tiny stars under the light.
"I love you with all of my heart, Blaze Anderson."
"And I love you until infinity, Alia Anderson." Blaze leaned closer and tenderly brushed his lips against her, savouring it's softness and the warmth of her breath.
As she slowly parted her lips, Blaze slid his tongue into her mouth, teasing and twirling with hers in an intense and passionate kiss that left both of them breathless.
Crazy for his touch, Alia was almost ripping his clothes apart when he stopped her.
"I have to take care of your stomach first, baby. We have all night together." Blaze tenderly kissed both her hands, causing her to giggle.
Alia followed Blaze's lead to the dining table, beaming at his thoughtfulness and his efforts to make her happy.
