Alia was in the process of rounding up her work for the day when her phone started buzzing on the table. She picked up the phone without looking at the caller as she sorted out so docunts on her desk, putting them in the right folder.
"Mrs Anderson speaking." She said in a professional voice.
"Is that how to talk to your husband?" Blaze's deep husky voice reverberated in her ear.
"Blaze!" Alia instantly stopped what she was doing, a smile tugging at the corner of her lips.
"Yours truly."
"Sorry sweetheart. I'm working."
"Well, your boss demands you to round up your work for today."
"My boss?" Alia quirked up her eyebrows resuming what she was doing.
"Yes."
"And who might that be if I may ask?"
"Your husband of course. He is the boss of all bosses."
Alia snorted, giving a 'yeah right' look, a smirk tugging at the corner of her lips.
"Well, super boss I'm a very busy wife."
"How long will it take for you to join downstairs?"
"You're here?" Alia's eyes widened in shock.
"In the flesh. I was craving for you so I decided to close early. I'm currently downstairs at the parking lot, standing outside my car and waiting for you."
"Seriously!" Alia felt like screaming in excitent as she hurriedly stood up and rushed over to her window to confirm his words.
"See for yourself." Blaze drawled, his calm and sexy voice, leaving Alia breathless.
Alia gazed down at the parking lots and there he was looking extrely dapper in his classy professional look. His suit jacket buttons were undone and his legs were crossed as he leaned on his car. One of his hands was tucked inside his pant pocket and he was wearing dark sunglasses.
Alia almost fainted as he looked up at her window and waved his right hand, a sexy smile framing his face.
"Hello, beautiful!"
"Hi!" Alia's cheeks slowly reddened. She was blushing really hard like a teenager as she waved back at him.
"So what will it take for to have my wife down here?"
"How about, please?" Alia moved away from the window, leaning her back on the wall and biting on her lower inner lips. She had no clue what they were doing but she was loving it.
"All right. Please, Mrs Anderson, can you co downstairs so that we can go ho? I was hoping we continue from where we left off this morning?"
Alia covered her flushed face with one hand, holding back her giggle as she responded. "Give five minutes."
Alia ended the call, her thoughts, a whirlwind of emotions as she imagined the beautiful things Blaze was planning to do to her tonight.
Just then, her beeped twice indicating she had just received a ssage. Thinking it was from Blaze she hurriedly opened it but found it was from an unknown number.
Furrowing her forehead, she thought of deleting the ssage without reading it. But then what if it was from the stalker that Blaze and his team haven't been able to track down? What if it was a clue Echo needed to trace this son of a bitch and his dark-skinnesidekickck.
After a brief contemplation, she decided to open the ssage.
But instead of the mysterious stalker, she was dumbfounded to see the sender's na at the bottom of the ssage. It was from Tina Stevens and it simply read.
[Hello Alia, how are you and how is your new husband? I trust you guys are doing great.
Sorry for the ss I caused between you and our friends the other night. It was so immature and childish of . Irrespective of my feelings for Blaze, I shouldn't have behaved the way I did. For that, I'm truly sorry. I have already made my peace with your husband and all our friends. I'm hoping to do the sa with you so that we can remain best friends. I've also spoken to Joanna and she has agreed to get back in the fold. I hope we can let go of the past and beco great pals, for the sake of the man we both love. Accept my best regards.
Tina Stevens.]
"Bullshit" Alia scoffed, not falling for Tina's hypocritical apologies. She deleted the text ssage without giving it a single thought. Then she switched off her phone before tossing the phone into her handbag.
"I'm not going to fall for your theatrics Tina. You can befriend whoever the f*ck you like and it won't make any difference." Alia checked the ti on the wall clock opposite her desk and saw that she had already spent up to four minutes wasting her precious ti on irrelevant things. She quickly cleared her desk and hurried out of her office.
Alia was happy to see Blaze still waiting outside his car browsing through his phone as she hurried out of the office building with Pascal and Clay tagging behind. She quickened her footstep, her heart racing as she ca closer to her husband.
"You promised five minutes and you took ten." Blaze looked up to et her flushed gaze, his heart also pounding erratically in his chest as she ca face to face in front of him.
"I'm sorry. Sothing irrelevant ca up."
"Hmm..." Blaze gazed at Alia with an appraising look from head to toe, drinking in her elegant look. "I hope it is sorted because I do not want any more irrelevant things disrupting my ti with you." He said, moving away from the rare door and opening it for her like a gentleman.
"It's sorted. I'm all yours now." Alia fluttered her eyelashes playfully as she stroked the back of his hand resting on the door, moistening her lips before entering the car, her gaze locked on his.
"Gush! You are good."
Blaze couldn't explain what this beautiful lady was doing to him but he was loving every bit of it. He followed right behind her like a love craze puppy and shot the door.
"Co here, you naughty cuttie." He pulled Alia closer, cupping her face with both hands and ravishing her full pink lips.
Fred quickly pulled up the car partition, as Pascal took the front passenger seat. Both n exchange a questioning look, puzzled by the intense exchange happening behind the tinted glass. They couldn't help but wonder what had happened to the boss, and why he was acting like soone under a love spell.
