Chapter 2303: Chapter 2282: Peculiar Forest
After entering the forest, Lin Feng also beca cautious. He was uncertain of what lay within this unfamiliar world, especially since the scorpion-like Demon Beasts were so fearful of it, which certainly indicated unknown dangers within this forest.
Not far ahead, a giant tree towering several dozen yards high ca into view. The tree’s leaves were large, each as big as a human, with a bright green color and silver veins. Several unnad Little Beasts hopped from branch to branch as a faint exotic fragrance wafted through the air.
The area a few yards around the tree was incredibly flat, as if it had been compacted, not a single blade of grass could grow, only a few tree roots lay coiled.
Lin Feng felt a bit curious, having traversed many faces of the Cultivation World, he had never seen a tree of such grandeur before. Approaching the tree, he lightly flicked the trunk which was wide enough for ten people to hug, surprisingly, it emitted a tallic echo.
What kind of tree is this?
Lin Feng found it truly strange; he had never seen a tree that seed tallic. This place was really bizarre!
Dispelling the curiosity in his heart, he took steps further into the forest. On his way, he encountered many gigantic trees he had never seen before. In the forest, there were so oddly-shaped timid Little Beasts leisurely munching on grass, countless unknown wildflowers dotting the scenery, and insects with dragonfly-like wings and grasshopper-like bodies flying about.
"Swish!"
Suddenly, a red bird the size of a Rush Fan flew by in a streak of red light, swiftly devouring those peculiar insects in an instant before disappearing from Lin Feng’s view, as if it had never existed.
This phenonon startled Lin Feng for a mont. He hadn’t anticipated that ordinary birds could achieve such supernatural speed, comparable to an Earth Immortal Realm Powerhouse; it was exceedingly outrageous. With a smile curling at the corner of his mouth, he grew even more curious about this world, lifted his foot, and continued walking forward...
After roughly the ti it takes to drink a cup of tea in the forest, Lin Feng suddenly saw ahead a swarm of Red Beetles gathering on the ground into a mass. Each was the size of a fist, their bodies glinting with black spots, their antennae extending an inch long, seemingly nibbling at sothing in unison.
Driven by curiosity, Lin Feng wanted to walk over for a closer look. However, just as he was getting close to the swarm of beetles, they suddenly burst into the air with a roar, like a red cloud, charging toward Lin Feng. Each Red Beetle’s eyes emitted a blue glow and a chilling murderous aura. Instantly, the bugs and birds within a range of dozens of yards around scrambled frantically as if fleeing for their lives!
Seeing the Red Beetles flying toward him, Lin Feng shook his head. Despite their numbers and seemingly impressive attack power, they posed no threat to him. With a thought, Xiao Huo the Fire Spirit appeared in his hand instantly.
"I’ll leave it to you."
Upon hearing Lin Feng’s words and seeing the incoming Red Beetles, Xiao Huo wasted no ti transforming into a fire net, imdiately enveloping the beetles. Under the incomparably scorching Eternal Divine Fla, within monts, all the beetles perished, leaving a peculiar scent in the air...
As the fire net dissipated, a heap of crystal-like red beetle shells fell from the sky. It was unknown what these shells were made of but, remarkably, even the Eternal Divine Fla could not destroy them!
Intrigued, Lin Feng casually picked up a still-hot red shell and examined it closely. This red shell seed like crystal yet also resembled tal. From his perspective, it was difficult to discern what exactly it was. However, witnessing how even the most ordinary carnivorous insects evolved such a shell gave him a whole new understanding of this world.
It was easy to imagine that if not for possessing the Eternal Divine Fla, any other human encountering these beetles would stand no chance. The sheer numbers of these beetles and their insanely resilient defense would make any Dharma Treasure utterly ineffective against their attack. He now understood why the scorpion-like beast dared not venture into the forest; this was rely insects; encountering Demon Beasts here could prove to be an entirely new level of terror!
Suddenly, Lin Feng rembered the place where the red beetles had been before. Looking around, he was shocked to find that it was a pile of bloodstained bones. It seed to be the remnants of so giant bird or beast, still exuding a horrible bloody stench, showing clearly that he had interrupted the red beetles feeding, which caused them to attack...

At this mont, Fire Spirit Xiao Huo was perched on Lin Feng’s shoulder, asking curiously. The Eternal Divine Fla had reached an unprecedented level of fusion; it could be said it had never encountered anything it couldn’t incinerate, especially just an insect’s shell. This was truly unbelievable for it!
"This world is the legendary realm where countless powerhouses ascend. As for its na, I don’t know. But I do know one thing: with my current strength, I am probably not much different from an ordinary person here. Now you can imagine how exaggerated this world is, right?" Hearing Xiao Huo’s question, Lin Feng smiled faintly and explained. If not for Fire Spirit Xiao Huo and the Eternal Divine Fla, he might have already been gnawed into bones by those red beetles!

"Alright, Master," Xiao Huo imdiately agreed, transforming into a faint red glow and entering Lin Feng’s body, completely disappearing.
After talking with Xiao Huo, Lin Feng composed himself, stood up and looked around, discovering not far away, about a few dozen feet away, stood three beasts resembling small deer. They were about the size of small calves on Earth, quite out of place in a world where everything was so colossal. Their silvery-white fur shimred with a slight silver glow, and their yellow antlers, like withered branches, emitted a faint yellow light, clearly already evolving into Demon Beasts.
Catching Lin Feng’s gaze, the purple-eyed beasts showed signs of fear, a bit panicked, yet confident in their speed they didn’t flee, observing this intruding stranger, seemingly curious about how this human could possess such formidable flas, capable of incinerating the red beetles which even they couldn’t withstand.
Sensing the timidity of these seemingly deer-like beasts, Lin Feng smiled faintly and waved at them. Instantly, the deer-like beasts widened their eyes, staring fixedly at Lin Feng, their gaze filled with both fear and other complex emotions, seemingly undecided whether to approach or not.
Noticing their extre timidity, Lin Feng wasn’t in a rush. Scanning the vicinity, he spotted a fruit tree not far away. With a thought, several red apple-like fruits flew into his hand, astonishing the deer-like beasts who couldn’t comprehend how this human accomplished such a feat.
With a slight smile, Lin Feng pushed the fruits towards the deer-like beasts with the help of his Divine Sense, while nodding at them to demonstrate his goodwill.
Seeing this, the deer-like beasts hesitated not and gobbled the fruits down imdiately. Their gazes towards Lin Feng carried less wariness, enough to feel Lin Feng’s goodwill. Yet, they still dared not approach him, hesitating for a long mont before turning and running away.
"These little ones!"
Watching the deer-like beasts flee, Lin Feng shook his head and muttered to himself, then turned his gaze to the distance and continued his journey.
A stick of incense later, Lin Feng found himself amidst vegetation, occasionally spotting so small beasts scurrying through. Not far before him were a few green-stemd plants with purple, football-like flowers, seemingly growing in an orderly pattern.
At that mont, a small beast, resembling a rabbit, was hopping quickly ahead. As it passed by these spherical flowers, one flower suddenly extended its stem, the previously spherical flower opened wide, revealing a row of monster-like fangs, emitting a cold white mist, instantly snatching the small beast into its mouth. In a split second, the flower was chewing on the small beast, making crunching sounds as if it were a giant mouth chewing sothing.
Beside the devouring flower, several identical spherical flowers also enlarged, swaying and making chewing movents. Shortly, as the first flower ceased its chewing motion, they too reverted to their initially unremarkable state simultaneously.
