"At Stage 2," she began, lifting her chin as if rehearsing a list she had been preparing in her head for so ti, "I awakened [Dinsional Shift]. It lets freely distort and control the surrounding space.

"I also awakened [Death Mirror], which lets reflect curses and soul attacks back at whoever uses them."

Neo’s brows rose. "That’s quite good."

Obitus gave a satisfied little nod.

"I know."

She was obviously pleased by his reaction but wasn’t about to let it show too much.

"And then, at Stage 3, I awakened [Reincarnation Binding]. It allows to ’tag’ an enemy soul. If they’re killed, that soul can’t reincarnate or reform until either I or you release it."

Neo frowned slightly, tapping his finger against his arm. "That’s... a terrifying ability."

"Terrifying for them," she corrected, almost smug.

"Right," Neo muttered. Then he tilted his head. "What about your blade form? Didn’t one of your older skills evolve?"

He could see her information when she connected to Heavenly Records, so he knew about it.

She pouted, seeing he was spoiling the fun.

Neo realized his mistake, and coughed, "Continue."

"Yes. My [Formless Blade] evolved into [Formless Infinity]. It was because of this ability that I could reach the Cosmos Core of your Cosmos."

Neo paused, the words hitting him harder than he expected. "Cosmos Core..."

For a mont, he drifted into his thoughts.

He had almost forgotten about that.

His Cosmos Core was supposed to be the Primordial Cosmos Core.

But the last ti he visited, he rembered it being called sothing else: Primordial Chaos Cosmos Core.

Why had the na changed?

His mind tightened around the thought.

It wasn’t sothing he could ignore forever.

He needed to check, but not now.

He suppressed the restless curiosity, forcing his focus back when he noticed Obitus staring at him, her lips pressing into a faint pout that was growing more accusing by the second.

She had realized he wasn’t paying attention.

Neo cleared his throat. "So, what did you awaken at Stage 4?"

Her pout disappeared imdiately, replaced by excitent.

"At Stage 4, I awakened three new abilities."

She spoke proudly, savoring each word.

"The first is [Sword Legion]. It lets manipulate any blade in the surrounding area by injecting my will into them."

"That’s quite useful. It can also be used as a detector to find enemies with a blade hiding in our surroundings." Neo nodded slowly. "And the second ability?"

"[Oblivion Bloom]. It lets create my own domain. It’s similar to a God’s [World]."

"Oh? That’s surprisingly nice."

[World] was crucial at higher ranks.

Without one, a person’s strength was never complete.

Worlds didn’t just boost strength, they also limited the range of abilities inside, making every attack more focused and potent.

More importantly, a World isolated the battlefield.

That prevented collateral damage, which was more than necessary.

Just one swing from a Stage 4 God could tear apart everything around them, even space and ti.

Fighting without containnt would be as dangerous to the user as to the enemy.

Imagine fighting where each step you take destroys the floor and causes your foot to sink in it.

That was what would happen to high-ranking Gods if they fought without using Worlds.

This problem could be overco with high control of ability, but such level of control was rare.

"What about the third ability?"

Obitus’s expression faltered for the first ti.

She hesitated, as though unsure how to phrase what she was about to say.

"That... it’s a strange ability. It doesn’t feel like a technique, and it doesn’t feel like sothing that ca from my species either."

Neo studied her carefully. "What do you an?"

Her voice dropped slightly. "It’s sothing else. Sothing keeps telling it’s... a Partial Authority."

"What?"

Neo froze.

Authority.

The word alone struck like a shockwave.

Only Demons and Witches had Authority.

That was an iron rule of the Cosmos.

So how could Obitus—?

His thoughts spun.

Then another detail clicked.

Soul Spirit Weapons were modeled after demons.

Since that was true, maybe it wasn’t impossible.

Maybe all Spirit Weapons could, in theory, awaken an Authority.

But... a Partial Authority?

Obitus seed uneasy under his silence.

"I know only Witches and Demons should have them," she said quickly. "And I know Authorities are supposed to be powerful. But mine is weak. It’s called [End]."

She frowned, looking down at her hands.

"All it does is erode things slowly. It causes them to... die. That’s it. It’s like Death elent."

Her tone carried a nervous edge.

She knew her Authority wasn’t impressive.

Her lips trembled faintly.

It could be said that the entire reason she was created was for an Authority.

But...

’My Authority can’t do anything.’

She was worried Neo might think she was useless.

Even though she knew he would never say anything like that, a part of her couldn’t hide her anxiousness.

What if....

What if he was also disappointed like Yaleth?

Yaleth was the creator of the Soul Weapons.

He was no different from a father for Obitus.

Although he had tried to hide it, Obitus had seen his disappointnt upon seeing her Authority.

"It’s a good Authority," Neo spoke firmly.

"But—"

"No." His voice was firm. "It’s not weak.

"Also, Gods only start creating their own Elents once they reach Stage 4. It’s probably the sa with you.

"Your Authority is at its beginning. You are only Stage 4.

"The Authority will grow stronger as you do. And besides, simple powers are often the most dangerous. Don’t confuse simple with weak."

Her eyes lifted slightly, surprised at how strongly he said it.

Neo held her gaze, his tone calm but firm.

"Even if it doesn’t evolve, even if it stays as it is, it’s not worth you becoming upset over it.

"It’s just an Authority. I’ve already defeated Demons with Authorities before. I did it in the Voraka Site too.

"That’s proof that Authorities are nothing special. So stop worrying about whether yours is enough. Got it?"

Obitus finally looked up.

She t his gaze.
