Naless Death clicked his tongue.
She was right about that.
He had been thinking of building an incomplete Path, then he would slowly upgrade it as he regained his mories.
'But building a complete Path from the start is better.'
Complete, huh?
The Path Naless Death had in mind could never be completed. That exactly was why it would be strong.
Still, regaining his mories would help him solidify the foundations of the Path. The Path would 'grow' faster with a strong foundation.
"How are you going to return my mories?"
"Return your mories?" she smirked. "Who said I was going to do that?"
Naless Death's brows creased. He was starting to get irritated by this woman.
She chuckled, and said, "Co with , and you will know what I ant."
She flew towards the Sea of All Consciousness—
"Stop calling this place with that na," she snapped as she flew ahead of him.
"So you can read my mind."
"I can't," she said. "I'm reading your Fla."
"Flas?"
She didn't answer.
Perhaps she might've normally answered him, but given the fact he had repeatedly called this place Sea of All Consciousness, he had pissed her, even if he had said the na in his mind only.
'Damn you Ultris!' she shouted in her mind.
Ultris had been the one to give na to 'this place'.
This place had Flas and that bastard gave this place the na of 'Sea'.
Okay, the Flas did look like a sea given their nigh infinite number.
But this place did not contain Consciousness! And yet it was now called Sea of All Consciousness!
That bloody bastard gave this place an incorrect na for shits and giggles, and now the na was stuck to the identity of this place as he, one of the strongest people called it as such.
'He really liked to ss with everyone,' she grinded her teeth.
For Gods, the Stages went from Stage 1 (lowest) to Stage 9 (highest). Even the Levels went from Level 1 (lowest) to Level 10 (highest).
But Grade went from Grade 5 (lowest) to Grade 1 (highest).
Why was the number progression opposite for Grades?
Originally, Grades for Gods also went from Grade 1 (lowest) to Grade 5 (highest).
But then ca the bastard nad Ultris.
He created the Path of Awakeners, and in that Path, Awakeners went from Grade 5 (lowest) to Grade 1 (highest).
Over ti, more and more people beca Awakeners.
It created a huge confusion.
For so (non-Awakener Gods), their Grade went from Grade 1 (lowest) to Grade 5 (highest).
For others (Awakener Gods), their Grade went Grade 5 (lowest) to Grade 1 (highest).
When the confusion beca too much, the Universal Civilizations finally decided to change the ranking system na, and made all Grades go from Grade 5 (lowest) to Grade 1 (highest).
The Universal Civilization accepted their defeat, and changed the order of rank nas.
They knew Ultris had purposefully chosen the reverse order of rank nas just to ss with the Universal Civilizations, but what could they do?
The different order of rank nas was creating too much confusion, and Ultris' descendant refused to accept the Grade 1 to Grade 5 order saying it was an insult to their ancestor.
'That bastard has no sense of respect.'
'I really hope he dies in a ditch sowhere,' the Witch scread in her mind.
Naless Death had brought up bad mories for her.
It made her want to hit soone and take out her anger, which was why instead of directly giving him his mories, she was going to solve the problem in a roundabout way.
Naless remained silent as he followed the Witch.
He was looking at the white flas.
Now he was sure, they weren't Intent or Consciousness, but sothing that went deeper, and was much purer.
He observed the flas. So were dark, so were large. They seed to contain essence of… people.
The duo flew until they reached a gigantic white fla.
The fla was far larger than all flas visible in the vicinity. It seed to stretch infinitely into the sky.
This white fla had taken the shape of a sword that was stabbed into the ground.
For so reason, Naless Death could tell that the sword had multiple cracks all over its body, as if it was a battered sword, but the sword still stood straight with pride, as if saying that it would never break despite its condition.
"It's a prideful yet lonely Fla, isn't it?" the Witch said solemnly. Unlike all Flas that were connected, this one stood alone.
The Witch of Greed no longer looked displeased nor did she act smug. She maintained a serious expression, as if giving her respect to Sword Fla.
Turning around to look at him, she added, "Give your hand."
He did. As soon as their hands touched, a jolt of white lightning jumped around her hand and shot into his forehead.
'She gave information.'
Naless Death went through the new information that appeared in his mind.
It was nas and coordinates of locations, and people.
[END] [Primordial Chaos Cosmos Core] [Artemis] [Obitus] [Beelzebub] [Hadean Light] [Spirit of the Jungle World, Verdonia] [Spirit of Gragnokh, the World of Iron Hell] [All Shadow]…..
"Go visit and observe all those locations and people," she said as she guided his hand towards the Sword Fla.
Before he could reply, she added, "I'm going to send your mind to another Cosmos. Don't resist."
Naless Death nodded.
He believed her words, not because he trusted her but because she couldn't harm him in this space.
Sothing told him that the mont she tried to do anything to him, she would be attacked. That the darkness would protect him.
'Maybe it's because I'm the Loved One of Darkness.'
It must be Darkness the Witch of Greed saw when she tried to coerce him into making a deal.
'But if Darkness is here, why won't she talk to ?'
Naless Death was surprised by his thoughts. Why did he think that Supre of Darkness was a woman?
"Stop thinking about useless things and focus on the feeling in your hand," said the Witch of Greed.
Naless Death nodded. He closed his eyes and focused on his palm that was touching the Sword Fla.
Imdiately, he felt a lurch. He was yanked forward.
The last thing he saw was his head being smashed into the Sword Fla.
After feeling a strange vertigo that felt as short as an instant but as long as eternity, he opened his eyes in a lavish office.
The headache and vertigo disappeared, allowing him to look around properly.
"Where am I?"
His gaze turned to the woman who was sitting in the office. She had ash-white hair, and blood-red eyes.
She seed to be going through a set of docunts.
'Why does she.... feel familiar?'
