(A few minutes ago in the grand auction hall…)

Just as Aiden was dealing with Magnus outside of the main auction hall, the rest of the youths present in the hall, were also having their own battle with the Monolith mbers along with the help of those from The Tower.

Even despite their few numbers when compared to the imnse number they had previously when the grand auction hall was completely occupied, the Monolith mbers far outnumbered the other two groups.

But even with their ’few’ number of about fifty mbers, the mbers of The Monolith soon realized how very outclassed most of them were against both the five Tower mbers and most especially, the six youths who were far stronger than they could have ever anticipated.

The five Tower mbers who were now on Team X’s side also felt the exact sa way and judging from the spell they had seen most of the youths use, they had surmised that most of them were essentially at A-rank, just like them.

And they were very right because asides from Ivelia who was a high-tier B-ranker, the others were all truly A-rankers, albeit low-tiered as opposed the Tower’s high-tiered rankers.

In addition to that too, although the Tower’s rankers had originally been unsure of who to attack at first when the battle started and just stuck to taking down whoever attacked them, they had imdiately realized who was really the enemy when Flynn had arrived out of the fairly large hole Magnus had created.

The mont Flynn had appeared a few seconds ago from the hole just after firing the bullet, the youth had deactivated the battle suit simultaneously as he landed on the destroyed stage, the Eclipsian Prism a few ters away from his feet.

The ore had actually been knocked off the pedestal it was on due to the reverberating shockwave of Magnus’s sudden destructive appearance so it was just lying on the ground for anyone’s taking.

However, before Flynn could retrieve the ore again, three Monolith mbers had lunged towards him at breakneck speed, almost nearing him in the blink of an eye.

-Fuaaash!!!

-Thruk!!

-Swish! Swish!

In an imdiate unexpected counter though, all three lunging assailants watched as three different things happened to each of them.

The first was turned into an instant ice sculpture due to Ivelia’s potion, her throwing aim perfect despite not even firing an arrow from her war bow.

The second found himself covered and trapped as a singular thick green vine ensnared and imdiately held him in place, courtesy of Caroline.

The third watched in horror and scread in agony as two long shining spear of white, luminescent energy, punctured through both his legs, rendering him immobile as Alia had expected.

Nodding approvingly to all three ladies for their help who then promptly refocused their attention on the other mbers attacking them in the hall, Flynn soon sensed as another Monolith mber coming for him.

Thinking he could sneak up on him with an invisibility spell while getting ready to perform a swift backstab with the jagged end of a splintered wooden plank, the man soon found himself flying a few centiters into the air in a fraction of a second as Flynn’s fist connected with the latter’s gut.

-Thwam!

Simultaneously, as this happened, although Flynn also sensed the usage of a spell, he was unable to react in due ti due to three other Monolith assailants rushing him while the mber who casted the spell, used her shadow movent spell to swipe the ore and began to escape with it.

’So annoying’ Flynn had inwardly comnted with a frown while retrieving his mana slates to deal with his three assailants, his peripheral vision noticing the lady who was escaping with the ore.

Unfortunately for the lady though, it was at this exact mont that Beatrice and Bryan each simultaneously casted two blindingly hot and bright spells respectively, each to deal with their own assailants.

"[Azure Series: Blazeblue Inferno] -!!!"

"[Nova Series: Starburst] -!!!"

The unexpected combo of these fairly powerful spells, one a giant ball of azure fire and the other a small orb of light that almost seed akin to an exploding star, ensured that a blinding brightness flooded the hall, even if only for a few seconds.

Unable to maintain her shadow movent spell due to the unexpectedly hazardous combo of light-based spells affecting her own spell, the monolith mber soon found herself stealthily scurrying off with the ore amidst their destructive battle, quickly making great strides to get away as soon as she could while almost placing the ore in her spatial ring.

’Not on our watch!’ Ivelia and Caroline had inwardly declared the mont they noticed this.

Swiftly, Ivelia hurled three of her sleeping potions towards the lady who thought she was almost-ho free while Caroline casted another spell!

Unable to realize what hit her in a split second, along with a few other Monolith mbers in the vicinity, all of them soon felt a sudden wave of dizziness wash over them and instantly, were on the ground like logs of wood, fast asleep as the Eclipsian Prism rolled out of the now asleep lady’s grasp.

At the exact sa ti, Caroline had imdiately created a ball of rosy and thorny vines that completely surrounded all the people that had fallen asleep, ensuring that she could keep an eye out on anyone who so much as even stepped within range of the spell, possibly stopping them from stealing the ore.

Considering the spell would also automatically attack anyone within range, it served as a very good offensive-defensive spell.

But even then, by the ti Magnus had finally arrived in the hall again despite its destructive state, due to the help of so of the other Monolith mbers who were yet to be put down pointing to the ball of rosy vines, the Obelisk Arm instantly dashed for the ore at a speed no one could even trace!

Everyone except for Beatrice who was already close to the ball of vines, Flynn who was tracing him with his own mana sense even though his eyes couldn’t physically keep up, Caroline who was the caster of the spell and two of the Tower’s rankers.

-Fwoosh! Fwoosh!

Instantly blocking him just before he could reach the vines, the two rankers reappeared in front of him, a surge of mana swirling around them as they planned to release a few powerful spells.

"Out of my way!" Magnus coldly ordered.

-Grip!

Not even giving them a chance to cast the spell, Magnus’s body moved at a blur, his hands already on the necks of the two rankers in a fraction of a second, his staunch grip snapping their necks in half like a brittle twig.

-Snap!

Tossing their dead bodies away like a broken marionette, the man finally advanced towards the rosy ball of vines.

-Rip!

Tearing the vines attacking him apart like flaky wood, Magnus soon retrieved the ore and instantly, dashed out of the hall again at breakneck speed, Flynn, Beatrice and Caroline hot on his tail.

It was also around this mont that Aiden had co back into the hall to watch as Magnus was escaping along with the other three youths chasing him.

"Go!" Bryan, Alia and Ivelia instantly beckoned to him with a shout even as the two kept dealing with their own assailants, the orange-haired lady hurrying over to the fallen rankers.

’I solemnly apologize for this, innocent auction hall!’ Aiden inwardly apologized as he imdiately multi-casted two spells in response to his three team mbers instead.

-BOOM!!!

In the blink of an eye, Aiden left a destruction of splinters and concrete in his wake as he used [Grav Boost] and [Reversal] simultaneously, the after effect of the sonic boom he created completely destroying what was left of the already crumbling stage and the walls as he hurtled through the air like a blur.

-BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Crashing through the ceilings of the auction house in destructive fashion, Aiden arrived while hovering in the air, just above Magnus who was already outside of the auction house too along with the other youths.

Planning on crashing into him mid-flight, Aiden flew towards the man like an unrestrained bullet let loose from its barrel.

Magnus who had also noticed this, instantly had a deep frown surface on his features.

’Yeah! I think I understand the hate Rigurd has for these two now! Fucking relentless these brats!’ Magnus inwardly complained while slowing down his dashing speed.

’Well, no matter. I’m almost where I placed the array at. The Tower won’t be catching any of us today. Not on my watch’ Magnus inwardly spoke while having a few more thoughts.

’If peradventure I do co across them again at a much later date, I’ll deal with them properly then. But for now, it’s ti I made my dramatic exit…’ Magnus thought to himself, his previous frown already leaving his face and replaced by a smirk.

Seeing as Aiden along with the other three youths were relentless in their assault against him, the man who had let out a mocking smirk, instantly chanted another spell inwardly.

’[Hybrid Series: Mass Teleportation]’

Just as all the youth’s attacks were about to reach him though, a fairly wide golden rune-circle of complicated strange symbols suddenly lighted up beneath Magnus’s feet as Magnus himself said a few words aloud with a hint of mockery, all while simultaneously turning around to give a graceful bow.

"You were right Flynn Belmont. I do have a thing for the theatrics…"

No sooner had he uttered this, the Obelisk Arm, along with every other Monolith mber who was present in the auction hall whether dead or alive, and still currently unknown to all four youths, instantly vanished into thin air, leaving behind golden dust particles in their respective spots.
