-BANG!

-Beep! Beep! Beep!

"Shit!" Magnus cursed in slight annoyance as he casually stood up from the mixture of rubble and tal caused by the unexpected punch that had suddenly connected to his mask, shattering it in an instant.

Well, in all fairness, the Obelisk Arm mber did sense the incoming attack but due to his already crazy speed, reacting at that fraction of a second when he burst out of the ground wouldn’t exactly have been an easy feat.

Looking around him, Magnus soon realized that there was a fairly shallow and short gorge ford just a few ters ahead of him along with three fairly large holes present in the destroyed walls he was facing, all leading back into the grand auction hall.

Stepping out of the holes with his fists covered in a dark-green hue of mana and his piercing-green erald eyes brightly standing out in the dark of the night, Aiden couldn’t help but squint at the man who stood in the middle of a small pile of rubble.

Along with that was an expensive red car behind him which was constantly beeping loudly, a collateral damage to the impact of the man’s body colliding with it and also, completely bent into a concave yet twisted mana as black smoke bellowed out of it.

Unable to see the man’s face clearly due to the darkness of the night and the dimly lit surroundings of the other parking lot they were in, Aiden spoke out first.

"Why do you want the Eclipsian Prism?"

"I’m of no obligation to disclose that information to you, boy" Magnus replied calmly.

"But I will issue you a warning right now though" he casually added and instantaneously, let out the full extent of his bloodlust while ordering with a very emotionless look on his features.

"Get the fuck out of my way"

"Unfortunately for you…" Aiden calmly replied while taking a step forward instead.

Simultaneously, the youth also unleashed the full might of his own bloodlust as his facial expression slowly transford into one devoid of life while completing his statent.

"… that won’t be possible"

A bit surprised by the youth’s counter of his bloodlust, despite it not showing on his face, Magnus soon watched as the afterimage of two, giant, green fists, solely made of mana, instantly reached his field of view in a split second.

-Twoom! Twoom!

Not even considering the incoming attack a threat in the least though, Magnus raised his hands at a blur that was almost invisible to the naked eye and imdiately, conjured a white convex shield.

-Bam! Bam!

Colliding with the translucent white shield, Magnus soon absorbed the mana from the giant fists as they dissipated and instantly, conjured two individual spells with an inward chant; One, a massively red fireball and the other, a swirling large orb of compressed water, both of them existing in harmony like yin and yang.

Shocked by the sudden counterattacking spell which surged with the mana of an SS-ranker, although it still wasn’t even obvious due to the emotionless look on his face, Aiden imdiately thought to himself as he instantly decided to go all out in that singular mont.

’There’s only one bastard in the novel capable of using the [Hybrid Series]...’

"I already warned you brat" Magnus coldly spat once again.

’Magnus Emberclaw!’ the youth inwardly declared.

"Get the fuck, out of my way!" the SS-ranker declared as the spell launched towards Aiden at breakneck speed while forming a destructive deep gorge along its path.

-TWOOOM!!!

Without even wasting a single mont, Aiden imdiately switched spells and instantly, had, not just one, but two, churning small orbs of dark green energy present in his palms as he also released the spells with an inward roar.

’[Gravity Series: Singularity] -!!!’

-Shwoom! Shwoom!

The two viciously churning orbs of energy instantly collided midway with Magnus’s destructive spell!

-BWOOM!!

The colliding attacks pushed everything within vicinity away in an instant. Rubble, the few remaining cars present in the parking lot, the small trees and flower plants and even the lamppost that eventually fell down, further causing the area to beco even more dimly lit.

As if fighting to exert dominance, the spells viciously pushed against one another until, finally, all of Magnus’s spell got sucked into the miniature black holes created by Aiden’s spell, eventually sending the parking lot into a temporary state of tranquil silence.

It wasn’t that Aiden’s spell was stronger than Magnus’s by any ans.

No. Further from that, it was the difference in the nature of the spells.

Aiden’s [Singularity] and Magnus’s [Yin & Yang], were fundantally different spells; the first ant to viciously and ferociously suck everything into its infinite void and the other, a raging energy of utter destruction.

Imdiately retrieving a high-tier mana potion from his spatial ring while tiredly panting, sothing even Aiden himself couldn’t rember the last ti he had used it, the youth quickly downed its content in an instant.

Yes, having to cast double [Singularity] had drained Aiden far more than he had ever anticipated, even despite now fully having complete mastery over the spell after his battle experience with Sigrun.

As this was happening though, Magnus soon received a report through the device present in his front pocket and imdiately understood that despite having to deal with the surprisingly strong brat who he had surmised to be Aiden Belmont, his priority was still getting the ore which was in the auction hall.

With that in mind, the man swiftly dashed towards the hall while using another spell.

-Swoosh!

On the other hand, just as soon as Aiden had finished downing the potion, he watched from his peripheral vision as Magnus imdiately appeared behind him like a streak of light particles, intent on hitting the youth with a brutal punch to the face!

Sensing the attack, even from before it already ca, Aiden reacted swiftly and in the fraction of a second, put his arms in front of himself in cross-guard manner while also using mana to further enhance his defense.

-Bam!

"Argh!" he let out a painful groan even with bloodlust still activated as the attack connected, causing him to uncontrollably skid backwards for a few seconds before finally coming to a halt.

Feeling like his arms and his entire body was very painfully and vigorously shaken to the core just from that singular attack, the youth knew that he couldn’t endure even one more of that type of punch.

Raising his head up swiftly though, Aiden was surprised to see that Magnus instead of capitalizing on his weakened state, was already dashing back through the hole he had previously crashed out of.

’Dammit! The ore!’ Aiden swiftly dashed after the man, intent on using his [Suction] spell to drag him back imdiately.

’I don’t have ti for this!’ Magnus thought to himself whilst dashing through the first hole.

Considering the man literally had no ti to play around with Aiden, especially since his sole priority was the Eclipsian Prism, he quickly muttered a spell to himself as he passed by the third hole.

Instantaneously, an exact copy of Magnus, a clone in other words, split from the Obelisk Arm and quickly dashed back towards Aiden who had witnessed the unbelievable phenonon!

Imdiately, Aiden was forced to deal with the clone which ca at him with an upper right hook!

-Thwap!

Blocking the hook with one of his palms, Aiden realized that the clone had far less power than Magnus himself did.

But even then, the attack still felt like sothing akin to that from a lower-tier S-ranker like himself.

-Thwack!

Imdiately countering with a powerful knee strike to the clone’s chin, the clone staggered backwards and then, as if ignoring the pain completely, launched towards Aiden again.

This ti, both Aiden and the clone exchanged a flurry of attacks in a matter of seconds but due to Aiden’s complete mastery over his combat art, it was clear to see who was taking more damage.

’Need to defeat this guy and head in!’ Aiden inwardly said with a strong urgency.

Following that, Aiden re-imbued his fists with mana as he activated [Gravity Blast].

For so reason or the other though, the clone couldn’t use mana as even though it saw Aiden activate the spell, it still ca lunging without reason, almost like a string-controlled marionette.

Not wanting to draw the fight any longer, Aiden delivered a brutal uppercut faster than the speed of sound as he also multi-casted [Grav Boost] solely on his hands, further increasing the already insane power the [Gravity Blast] spell had.

-Thwam!!!

The clone, as if it had its marionette-controlled strings snapped, instantly blacked out as Aiden’s powerful attack sent it flying a few centiters into the air before it then landed gracelessly on the unforgiving concrete with a loud thud.

-Thud!

’Now to stop Magnus!’ Aiden inwardly declared as he finally dashed through the holes in the destroyed walls which now led into the similarly destroyed grand auction hall.
