Chapter 707: Chapter 705: Slaughter

“Kill them!”

With a shout, the brown-haired Pirate Captain charged ahead, grasping onto the grappling hook’s rope and leading a horde of pirates as they swung towards the Queen Victoria, swiftly climbing up the deck of the Queen Victoria.

“Heh heh heh!”

After successfully boarding, the brown-haired Pirate Captain let out a sinister chuckle, completely oblivious to the Magic Knights gathering in the distance.

The Pirate Captain looked towards the line of people standing on deck and said, “Let introduce myself, I am the most savage Pirate in all the seas—’Brown-haired’ Moke. I heard there were nice things on your ship, so I ca to take a look. Now, I want you to take out all the nice things and let take them away, no problem, right? I think there’s no problem, otherwise, hmph, I will… Agh!”

The brown-haired Pirate Captain Moke was cut off mid-sentence by a scream that erupted from his own mouth.

A Fine Steel Spear flew with the speed of lightning and pierced his body accurately, nailing him to the deck, its tail still quivering.

“This!” Moke’s eyes widened as he finally saw the fully-ard Magic Knights. Using his last ounce of strength, he let out a roar of defiance and pointed at the Magic Knights, ordering, “Kill them for !”

“Kill them!”

The pirates, gripping their weapons, cried out in a vengeful frenzy, and at that mont, the Magic Knights silently launched their efficient and ruthless attack.

The first wave of attack was a volley of Fine Steel Spears thrown in succession.

The Fine Steel Spears, extrely heavy, had much greater penetrating power than regular crossbow bolts. Apart from the bizarre tal Tower Shields, solid leather shields or wooden ones were easily pierced, not to ntion pirates who had no shields at all.

“Thwack, thwack, thwack!”

The sound of spears piercing flesh rose, and several pirates were nailed to the deck.

The pirates were stunned for a mont and then their ferocity intensified; they charged forward fearlessly as a second volley of Fine Steel Spears was thrown.

“Thwack, thwack, thwack!”

In an instant, more than a dozen pirates were nailed to death on the deck; two of them were even skewered together, wiping out the pirates’ vanguard.

This!

The remaining pirates’ morale plumted, and their advance slowed.

Then ca the third volley of Fine Steel Spears.

“Thwack, thwack, thwack!”

Again, several pirates were pinned to the deck, but this ti, it was those at the back, trying to flee, who were struck.

At this point, the pirates had no more fighting spirit, and they chaotically tried to jump into the sea to escape. anwhile, under the cover of three volleys of Fine Steel Spears, several Three-Pattern Magic Knights had successfully closed in on the pirates.

They each wielded a Two-handed Greatsword, the blade as wide as five fingers, more about heft than sharpness.

“Die!”

Several Magic Knights crashed into the pirate ranks, bellowing as they swung their great swords with full force. Pirates struck by the attack were either cleaved in two or had their bodies so twisted and mangled they fell to the ground with heart-rending screams, with the number of pirates on deck quickly dwindling.

Then, additional Three-Pattern Magic Knights rushed forward, each holding a Fine Steel Thin Sword. While lacking the grand swings, each stroke was precise and fatal.

“Thwack, thwack, thwack!”

Several sounds in rapid succession, blades pierced the pirates’ hearts, taking their lives, while the Magic Knight wielding the Two-handed Greatsword efficiently carried out a massacre behind them, mowing down the remaining pirates.

“Spurt spurt spurt!”

“Aaargh!”

The deck was filled with the pirates’ screams, and in just a mont, they were wiped out cleanly. The Magic Knights, on the other hand, suffered no casualties.

This was the strength of a Magic Knight!

On the pirate ship parallel to the Queen Victoria, so pirates were still on board, originally planning to follow the previous group up to the Queen Victoria to plunder. Seeing the terrible scene of their companions’ slaughter, they couldn’t help but swallow hard, silently retracting their grappling hooks, ready to distance themselves from the Queen Victoria.

But their reaction was too slow!

“Bang bang bang!”

The Magic Knight who had just personally conducted a massacre ran to the edge of the Queen Victoria’s rail, stomped fiercely, and leapt powerfully. Taking advantage of the height, he jumped directly onto the pirate ship that was trying to flee, then brandished his weapon and began a second massacre.

“Aaargh!”

The screams rose again in unison.

At that ti, the second pirate ship, which had lagged behind, also approached the Queen Victoria. It intended to support the first pirate ship but, seeing the fate of the forr, very wisely turned around and soon was fifty ters away from the Queen Victoria.

They had understood very clearly; as mighty as a Magic Knight might be, it was impossible to leap such a distance. As long as they didn’t foolishly approach, relying on their ship’s speed advantage, they were sure to escape successfully.

As for the plundering they had initially in mind, they could go to hell with that; at this ti, life was the most important.

But the pirates had clearly overlooked sothing.

To a Three-Pattern Ordinary Magic Knight, indeed, it was impossible to cross forty or fifty ters, but a Five-Pattern Elite Magic Armor Knight might not necessarily find it impossible.

While nurous Three-Pattern Magic Knights rcilessly massacred on the first pirate ship, on the deck of the Queen Victoria, several Five-Pattern Elite Magic Armor Knights stepped forward.

They glanced towards Captain Victoria, and upon receiving the nod of approval, the next mont they imdiately began to run.

“Bang bang bang!”

The Five-Pattern Elite Magic Armor Knights, dressed in black and blue Armor, caused the whole ship to shake slightly as they ran.

Amidst the shaking, several Five-Pattern Elite Magic Armor Knights reached the stern, stomped with all their might, and then, propelled by their running speed, they smashed toward the rapidly distancing second pirate ship like teors.

The pirates on the second ship, seeing this, couldn’t help but pale, but after a mont, blinked and their expressions eased sowhat.

They saw that the Five-Pattern Elite Magic Armor Knights indeed leapt a great distance, but it was only a little over ten ters at most. Just after passing ten ters, their bodies uncontrollably began to fall, plumting toward the sea.

“Haha, idiots!”

The pirates on the second ship burst into loud laughter, jeering as much as they could. They had all thought that “Iron Cans” like the Elite Magic Knights would never float once they hit the water and wouldn’t need their hands to die; the Magic Knights would drown themselves.

Thinking this, the pirates’ laughter grew even louder: “Really fools! Fools! Idiotically to death… Gah!”

The next mont, the pirates’ laughter stopped abruptly, as they saw that the falling Five-Pattern Elite Magic Armor Knights didn’t sink as they thought they would upon touching the water.

“Thud!”

With a muffled sound, the water surface under the feet of the Elite Magic Knights eerily hardened, as if it had frozen over, successfully supporting the weight of the Elite Magic Knights.
