Chapter 617: Chapter 615: This Person, Must Die
In the night.
“Boom!”
An explosion sounded, Richard detonated the Magic Salt, neatly and efficiently taking care of another Black Robed Man who was intercepting him, then turned his head to look around.
The night was densely filled, with nurous Black Robed n continuously gathering, their numbers growing more and more.
Tilting his head slightly, he looked in a distant direction and murmured to himself, “It should be about ti. With this much ti, as long as nothing unexpected happens, Gro and the others should be able to break through successfully. So, it’s ti for to leave too.”
After murmuring to himself, Richard’s hand flipped, and the Magic Gun reappeared in his hand. He loaded a new drum of Shellless Magic Bullets and pulled the trigger, fiercely spraying a barrage at the gathering Black Robed n.
“Bang bang bang!”
Imdiately, a tallic storm whipped up around him!
During the previous battle, many of the Black Robed n had fully witnessed the power of the weapon in Richard’s hands: those below the level of a Wizard had no ans of resistance, a First-level Wizard could only hold up for a single encounter, while a Second-level Wizard could barely contend, but it was utterly impossible for them to persist for a long ti.
Seeing Richard’s attack, the many Black Robed n dared not take it lightly, and they hurriedly dodged, their bodies twisting and scattering in all directions like a snake.
Under these circumstances, the lethality of the Magic Gun greatly diminished, after all, bullets could only travel in a parabolic trajectory and did not automatically track. Therefore, apart from a few unlucky Black Robed n who were hit, not many were killed.
Richard looked on but did not care. To him, the number of people killed was irrelevant; as long as he could frighten them back, open a gap in the encirclent, and make his escape, that was all that mattered.
“Bang bang bang bang bang bang!”
He pulled the trigger tightly, firing all the Shellless Magic Bullets from the drum in one go, pushing the Black Robed n back a hundred ters.
At that mont, the barrel of the gun was cherry-red from the friction of the bullets and the explosive effect of the Magic Salt, the temperature frighteningly high. Richard stored the Magic Gun in the Space Iron Ring, stepped down with his foot, and released Wind Magic, controlling the air to envelop his body as he swiftly flew towards the outskirts of the battlefield, preparing to leave.
But just as he flew out a dozen ters, he suddenly sensed sothing, his body abruptly ca to a halt, and the Magic Rune Rings on his fingers quickly activated, stacking multiple spells on his body, he looked ahead with great vigilance.
The air in front of him twisted, and more than ten Black Robed n appeared, standing like a wall in his way.
Afterward, the air around also twisted, and more Black Robed n kept erging, forming a new encirclent.
These newly appeared Black Robed n all exuded a formidable air, clearly not easy to deal with. The sa Black Robed n, he had encountered two batches before, and it had taken much effort to dispatch them. This ti, the number that had co far surpassed those of the previous two batches.
At the sa ti, a “thump thump thump” vibrating sound arose.
Turning his head towards the source of the vibration, Richard saw a towering man over two ters tall stepping out from the darkness. The man had a cold gaze and seed to be of unordinary status, like a leader.
“It seems the noise I made earlier was a bit too much, and I’ve been marked,” Richard realized in his mind, “Now the ones coming are all specifically targeting , which is quite troubleso.”
“But at this point, talk is cheap,” Richard thought, glancing at the towering leader, and, seeing that the man was about to say sothing, Richard didn’t give him the chance. With a wave of his hand, he threw out the Magic Salt and then ignited it, initiating the attack first.
“Boom!”
The Magic Salt exploded in front of Tu Ke, who reacted very quickly with his arms raised, his skin petrifying as he crossed them in front of his face.
The blast’s force hit his arms, causing his body to shake slightly, the petrified skin cracking, but it successfully held up.
After defending, Tu Ke lowered his arms, looked at Richard with a cold face, and roared, “Damn kid, do you realize you have disrupted our plans, affecting many subsequent matters! And you even dared to launch a surprise attack on , I will crush every bone in your body!”
“Really?” Richard’s eyes narrowed slightly.
“Of course!” Tu Ke responded, and then he shouted out an order to everyone, “Attack, kill this kid for !”
“Yes!”
Imdiately, a multitude of wizards unleashed spells at Richard.
Flas, thunder, ice cones, wind blades, acid liquid, poisoned thorns, vast expanses of quicksand…
All sorts of attacks rained down on Richard’s location.
Richard struggled to dodge and resist, but in just over a dozen seconds, he felt enormous pressure. After all, he was being besieged by several dozen powerful wizards, each wielding incredibly potent spells. A single slip could lead to serious injury, so he was almost walking on a tightrope.
Moreover, the attack had co suddenly, and even though he had received a warning from Pandora, he had not really prepared much. This wasn’t his ho ground, and many of his techniques were limited and couldn’t produce their best effects—it was extrely tricky.
Feeling the pressure, he took a deep breath and then pursed his lips.
He certainly felt the pressure, but he was not too panicked.
For aningless battles, he didn’t care much about winning or losing. Now that he couldn’t beat the enemy, it was better to run away. After all, his plan had been to break out and leave, so there was no conflict.
Decision made, Richard shifted his body, dodging an incoming ice spear. He stepped forward and dashed at high speed towards the weakest point of the encirclent.
A few Black Robed Wizards there saw him, but instead of retreating, they quickly t his advance, ready to intercept forcibly.
Richard, unceremoniously, pulled out the One Strike Kill Staff and aid at the seemingly strongest among them, and with a “bang,” he launched his attack.
Blood exploded on the scene as the body of the targeted Black Robed Wizard burst open as if he had been stuffed with two hundred pounds of explosives, showering the other two Black Robed Wizards with blood and bits of flesh.
The other two Black Robed Wizards were montarily stunned and then looked at Richard with a hint of caution, no longer daring to approach him.
Seizing the opportunity, Richard took out a Magic Gun from his Space Iron Ring that had not cooled down much, swiftly replaced the magazine, and began to spray wildly as he pulled the trigger.
“Bang bang bang bang bang bang!”
Once again he emptied the magazine of shellless magic bullets in one go, the barrel of the Magic Gun glowing red-hot, showing signs of lting.
But the results were significant, as the freshly arrived wizards didn’t understand the power of the Magic Gun. Consequently, quite a few Black Robed Wizards were hit, and those who were not hit were intimidated and hid far away. A new gap was successfully blown open in the encirclent.
After seeing this, Richard didn’t hesitate at all, burst forth at high speed, and dashed through the gap in the encirclent toward the outskirts of the battlefield.
…
Richard managed to escape, and Tu Ke, upon seeing this, was furious beyond containnt.
But looking at his subordinates who were blown to bits and the many who were severely injured, he had to admit that Richard was a difficult target to tackle. Especially the oddly shaped weapon in Richard’s possession, even he would not dare to face it head-on.
However, even so, Richard could not simply be let go.
The more formidable Richard was, the more he needed to be eliminated, otherwise, who knew how much it would affect the plans ahead?
Based on countless experiences in executing big plans within the organization, very often it was the neglect of such an unremarkable person that led to the entire grand sche’s failure.
He must kill the adversary!
