Chapter 406: Chapter 405: Monster!

“How do I prove it?” Richard asked Suo n.

“Quite simple!” Suo n replied in a grave tone, his hand flipping to reveal a cluster of purple flas, “All I have to do is swallow this thing to possess the power to crush you, and then I can prove it however I want!”

“Alright, give it a try,” Richard said, arching an eyebrow.

“Hmm?” Suo n was taken aback, clearly not expecting Richard to respond this way. The next mont, without hesitation, he moved the purple fla toward his mouth.

Of course, Suo n was not foolish. As he perford this action, he stepped back, saying to Vasily on the side, “Vasily, hold off this kid for !”

In Suo n’s view, Richard must be planning to attack him while he was attempting to upgrade. But even if Richard was very strong, Vasily could hold him back for a mont, and that would be enough ti for him to complete the upgrade and then massacre Richard.

Thinking this way, Suo n retreated behind Vasily, bringing the purple fla to his mouth.

Just as Suo n thought the situation was under control, he suddenly heard Richard call out to him, “By the way, do you still rember how you died last ti?”

“Hmm?” Suo n was slightly startled, and his motion paused as he subconsciously began to recall.

Because of his death, all previous combat mories were completely erased, and the mories of the battle process were later inherited from Mu Konni. However, inheriting mories from soone else carried so negative effects—at first, you might rember everything clearly, but as ti passes, you forget faster, until in the end, only a vague impression remains.

Now, although Suo n rembered that Richard was the person who killed him, he really couldn’t quite recall how Richard did it.

How did he die?

Suo n frowned, struggling to rember, eventually recalling a fragnt of the inherited mories.

A dark night, a street, transford into a werewolf, a “snap” sound, his head twisted off…

Suo n’s eyes widened as he rembered!

Then why did he transform into a werewolf? It seed…

Suo n’s dilated eyes suddenly narrowed, looking at Richard with extre caution, ready to defend against a possible attack.

But…it was already too late…

Unbeknownst to when it appeared, a Crystal Skull was in Richard’s hand. Holding the Crystal Skull, his gaze went past the obstacle and landed on Suo n, as he said aloud, “Do you rember now? So…do you want to try it again?”

“I—”

Suo n’s body tensed.

“Swish!”

Richard didn’t give Suo n any chance and instantly activated the Spirit Attack feature of the Crystal Skull.

“Whiz-whiz!”

Two streams of Spirit Shock energy were launched, a stronger and a weaker one, hitting Suo n and Vasily respectively.

Vasily’s eyes bulged as he glanced at Richard and stumbled to the side, his teeth clenched, struggling to resist the invasive, rampant will—his was the secondary Spirit Attack.

Suo n, on the other hand, was hit by the primary Spirit Attack, and his reaction was intense, or rather, very familiar.

Within an extrely short span of ti, Suo n’s consciousness was shattered, rationality lost, and anger completely took over his brain, his eyes turning exceedingly red.

“Roar!”

A roar erupted from Suo n’s throat, and his whole body began to change. His muscles swelled, his fur grew longer, and he transford bit by bit from a regular human into a large werewolf.

That’s when Richard moved.

He stomped his foot, charging toward Suo n, his lips parting as he cast the “Wind Lord” Spell.

Simultaneously, the “Wind Light Spirit” on the No.1 Ring on his finger was activated.

Under the powerful amplification of the Wind Lord, the air condensed by the “Wind Light Spirit” swiftly transford into a pair of Wind Shoes beneath Richard’s feet, and then a pair of Wind Wings ford on his back.

Once the Wind Wings unfurled, Richard leapt out, his speed breaking through the limit.

Fast! Too fast!

Richard’s body, in an instant, stretched into a series of afterimages, reaching Suo n in almost a single step, a stark improvent from the last ti when it took seven steps to launch an attack.

At this mont, Suo n had yet to complete his transformation—although the majority of his body had turned into a werewolf, with his swelling physique bursting through his clothes, his head was still human-shaped, slowly elongating.

Richard, after seeing this, showed no courtesy; his feet sprung up as if on springs, and his eyes fearlessly t the bloodlust in Suo n’s gaze, his arms extended, precisely seizing Suo n’s neck.

The “Wind Force” spell on the No.1 Ring activated, with a comprehensive amplification from the “Wind Lord.”

“Swipe!”

The air around Richard wildly condensed, encapsulating his shoulders, arms, elbows, wrists, and even his knuckles.

With minimal effort, Richard felt as if the whole world was pressing down on him, propelling his motions.

At that mont, there was no need for the “Divine Blood,” no need to activate the “Earl Level Bloodline Power.” Under the spell’s effect, he had near-limitless strength.

In the blink of an eye, there was a “crack,” and Suo n, halfway transford into a werewolf, stood no chance of resistance; his head was twisted off by Richard.

“Pop!”

Richard’s leaping figure landed, tossing Suo n’s head aside carelessly as he turned toward Vasily in the courtyard.

Vasily, at that ti, wore a pained expression, struggling desperately against the violent will of the Crystal Skull. His body, overexerted, couldn’t maintain balance, stumbling repeatedly on the ground, appearing utterly disheveled.

Realizing that Richard had easily killed Suo n and was now looking at him, Vasily, gritting his teeth, shouted, “Damn you, you fool, don’t co any closer!”

Richard approached him with an expressionless face.

“Ah, damn it!” Vasily roared out, and the next instant, in desperation, he raised his hand and released an Attack Magic with great difficulty.

“Whiz!”

A Wind Blade—a Wind Blade over two ters long and pitch black ford in the air, slashing down towards Richard, like a Death God’s scythe.

Shape Power Wind Magic·One Circle High Order·Calamity Scythe!

Seeing the spell, Richard squinted slightly. Given the attack speed of the spell, he had over a ninety percent chance of dodging it with the help of the “Wind Lord” plus the “Wind Light Spirit.” But a thought crossed his mind, and he chose not to.

In the next mont, Richard spread his arms, and his entire Combat Suit vibrated.

Since he had prepared to go out today, he was wearing his Combat Suit, which stored Non-Newtonian Fluid in its inner layer. With his movent, the fluid surged out rapidly, assembling in front of him into a Black Shield. Then, several sparks of fire flew out, landing on the surface of the Black Shield to form a complete Reaction Shield.

Holding the Reaction Shield, Richard faced the black Wind Blade head-on, and the next mont with a “bang,” the sparks on the surface of the shield ignited, exploded, and the Wind Blade, affected by the blast, shattered.

The Wind Blades didn’t dissipate after being crushed but turned into countless finger-sized Wind Needles, shooting out rapidly in all directions. So hit the Reaction Shield, which upon stimulus, rapidly hardened, blocking them all.

“Whizz, whizz, whizz, pop, pop, pop—”

As the sounds faded and the magic ended, Richard waved his hand, causing the Black Shield to disperse, turning back into a fluid, flowing rapidly back into the inner layer of his suit, and then stepped towards Vasily.

At that ti, Vasily continued to wrestle against the Spirit Shock while staring at Richard with wide eyes, a hint of fear in his gaze.

True fear!

Richard had defended against the attack with a black, viscous Shield; that was nothing unusual, and a shield suddenly hardening could also be explained by the magic. But the shield seed to grow from his body and could be retracted after use, forcing Vasily to reckon with what he was facing.

Was this a human?

Maybe it was, maybe… it wasn’t.

Perhaps, like the little girl they encountered earlier, it was an incomprehensible monster.
