Chapter 275: Chapter 274 I’m Not a Random Passerby Chapter 275: Chapter 274 I’m Not a Random Passerby “What if I don’t speak?” the young man said to Suo n and Mu Konni.

“You will,” replied Mu Konni with a smile.

The contrast between Mu Konni’s magnetic male voice and her shapely figure caught the young man off guard, but he quickly regained his composure and looked at Suo n and Mu Konni, “Then let’s see if you have the strength.”

After speaking, the young man unapologetically launched an attack.

Mana fluctuations appeared, escalating to the peak of a Level 3 Wizard Apprentice. With a wave of his hand, a blood-red fla burst towards Suo n and Mu Konni.

But in the next mont, the young man’s eyes involuntarily narrowed.

He saw Suo n raise his hand and release a cluster of erald light that enveloped the fla he had launched. The fire raged within the green light but was utterly powerless, its sound even disappearing.

The young man’s brow furrowed deeply, while Suo n and Mu Konni stepped closer, subtly encircling him.

“Damn it!” the young man’s expression changed, and he gritted his teeth, in a voice filled with frustration, he said to the approaching Suo n and Mu Konni, “You’re forcing my hand!”

“Whoosh!”

The gemstone-encrusted ring on the young man’s finger suddenly brightened, emitting a light that far exceeded the brightness of the sun by hundreds of tis.

“Tap, tap, tap…”

Richard walked forward, raising his eyebrows as he looked ahead. He saw the young man who had left earlier staggering back with severe injuries.

His face was disfigured and covered in blood. His shirt at the front was scorched as if attacked by high-temperature flas. One arm hung limply like a noodle in front of his chest, while he clutched a briefcase tightly with his other arm, which appeared to be stiffened. Both legs continually bled, seeming like they might give out at any mont.

The young man’s expression was one of extre pain and frustration. Upon seeing Richard, his eyes suddenly brightened. Standing still, he commanded in an authoritative tone, “Co here!”

“Hmm?” Richard didn’t move.

The young man frowned, seemingly displeased, but then thought better of it and softened his tone, “Please, co here. I’m injured and need so help. If you assist , I’ll be extrely grateful.”

Richard stepped closer.

As the man watched Richard approaching, he couldn’t help but lick his lips, his voice hoarse as he said, “To express my gratitude for your help, I’ll tell you a very important secret. Knowing this secret will bring you unexpected gains. The secret is…”

The young man’s voice suddenly dropped, and Richard leaned in close to his mouth.

The young man revealed a sowhat crazed smile, then suddenly opened his mouth wide, viciously biting at Richard’s exposed neck, attempting to suck his blood and use a special spell to heal his injuries.

But…

With a “snap,” the young man felt his head being clamped, unable to bite down no matter how much he tried.

Richard held the young man’s head with both hands, slowly turned around, and said while looking directly at him, “You might resemble a protagonist in so novels, but… I’m no ordinary passerby. You’re in this state, and still planning sothing wicked – you’ve probably got the wrong person.”

“I…” the young man’s face changed drastically, then quickly pleaded, “Help , please help ! I’m willing to give you everything I have if you just help .”

“But if I kill you, isn’t everything you have mine anyway?”

“This…” the young man was at a loss for words, unable to argue back.

“Besides,” Richard continued, placing a hand gently on the young man’s carotid, “In reality, I don’t need everything you possess, just the seven books of artifacts from the Black Spirit Empire that you acquired at the auction will suffice.

Also, I think it’s best if you died. Because I’m curious to know more. For instance… why you were attacked. It can’t just be because you showed off too much at the auction, although that’s a good enough reason. But I think there should be another explanation.”

“I… I…” the young man could no longer speak as Richard’s hand on his neck significantly decreased his heart rate. Already severely injured, his blood pressure collapsed irreparably, and he convulsed and fell.

Richard laid the young man down, opened the tightly clutched briefcase, and took out so items, erasing every trace of his own presence, then quietly departed.

Shortly after.

Suo n and Mu Konni appeared, both looking quite upset.

“Damn, I didn’t expect that guy to be so tough, having so many contingencies. We almost slipped up,” said Suo n. “But thankfully, he was so badly injured, he couldn’t have gotten far. There, you see.”

Suo n and Mu Konni hurried forward a few steps to where the young man’s body lay on the ground.

Suo n crouched down, checked for any breathing from the young man, his brows deeply furrowed, and he looked at Mu Konni saying, “He’s dead.”

“Dead?”

“Dead.”

“Damn it, you went too far!” Mu Konni said, “A dead man is of no use, although we can still destroy the contraband and complete the mission, the secrets he held cannot be uncovered now. It wasted all that preparation I did for the spiritual magic.”

Suo n frowned, “I didn’t see this coming.”

“Hmph, there’s too much you didn’t foresee,” Mu Konni said, “You should have let lead the attack from the beginning, there wouldn’t have been so many problems, instead of letting you lead.”

Suo n turned to Mu Konni, coldly said, “Even if you led the attack, it doesn’t an you would have done better.”

“Is that so? I don’t think so, at least I don’t have a nickna ‘Dragon Slayer Tragic Death Suo n.’ If you had let handle the last dragon slaying mission, I definitely would have completed it without dying. This ti too.”

“You!” Suo n glared at Mu Konni, “You know that mission was an accident—an absolute accident! Besides, even though I died, I still killed the dragon and completed the mission. And so what if I died, aren’t I standing here right now?”

“Ha.” Mu Konni suddenly laughed, looking at Suo n with a smile, “Why so fierce? What, are you angry? Tsk, you n…”

Suo n: “…”

After a mont of silence, Suo n turned his head, ignoring Mu Konni altogether, picked up the briefcase from the young man’s hand, opened it, and started checking.

After a mont, Suo n suddenly stood up, his gaze sharpening as he looked around, seemingly sensing sothing amiss.
