Richard glanced over and had no intention of giving Sharye any chance to act. With a grab of his right hand, a ball of blood-red energy quickly condensed into a spear in his hand, and he began to aim.

At this mont, nurous Angels by Sharye’s side flapped their wings and stepped in to block. Numbering in the hundreds, they held Longswords forged from golden light, cutting off all routes to attack Sharye from above.

"Blaspher, prepare to die!"

The Angels shouted, attacking with all their might.

Richard couldn’t help but frown. He didn’t want to give Sharye a chance to complete his skill, but he couldn’t ignore the Angels either. Pursing his lips, he gripped the Blood Spear tightly and thrust it towards the area with the most Angels.

"Boom!"

The tip of the Blood Spear exploded, creating an Energy Storm that blasted a hole in the Angels’ defense line.

Richard dashed through, his right hand grasping, forming another Blood Spear, attempting to attack Sharye. He found more Angels desperately blocking him, surrounding him and blocking his sight.

Lower Angels, Middle Angels, Upper Angels, and the Angel Leader from feet to head wrapped around him into a sphere suspended in midair.

And it wasn’t just one layer; there were many, as if ready to trap him entirely.

Outside this encirclent or sphere, the holy energy emanating from Sharye grew stronger, and Richard felt a slight threat. Glancing at the Angels eyeing him, ready to pounce, he confird it wasn’t going to be a simple task, raising his eyebrows.

Since that’s the case...

Very well then...

"Hoo—"

Richard took a deep breath, as if absorbing all the air of the world, his eyelids slightly lowering, then suddenly flipping open, his pupils abruptly changing color to a shade of Amber.

Extending both hands, he flicked his little finger, ring finger, middle finger, forefinger, and thumb in sequence, amber flas sprang from his fingertips.

The flas grew larger, gathering gradually in the palm, eventually forming an Amber Fireball in each of his hands.

Then the left fireball paled, becoming pure white, while the right deepened, turning pitch-black as if absorbing all light.

With the fireballs’ color shift, a surreal sensation slowly enveloped the surroundings, as if a vast region had been peeled away from its original world.

The Angels sensed sothing amiss, and with a command from the Angel Leader, they charged Richard.

But just as the nearest blade ca within centiters of his body, Richard clapped his hands together fiercely, with the pure white and pitch-black fireballs colliding heavily.

Fusion!

Explosion!

"Boom!"

The space abruptly shook, ti seed to freeze, and all the Angels’ movents halted, suspended in midair.

Then, a vast area around plunged as if it had dipped into a vat of gray dye, colors rapidly disappearing, all turning a uniform gray.

Gray, gray, nothing but gray.

Angels turned gray, their weapons turned gray, even the air turned gray.

It looked like a black-and-white photograph, giving off a peculiar sense of ti passing.

In this state, ti lost its aning; whether it had been a second or ten thousand years was unknowable.

When change occurred again, everything began to restore, gray receded, and colors returned. Angels transford from black-and-white portraits back into real Angels. The air beca clear and transparent again. Ti resud flowing, seemingly just as it had initially.

But ultimately, sothing wasn’t the sa.

The closest Angel wasn’t thrusting his weapon towards Richard any longer; instead, his eyes flew open wide, terror filling his gaze. A hoarse scream escaped deep from his throat before he fell straight down like a bird with broken wings, crashing to the ground.

"Crash!"

The Angel’s body shattered, turning into dust.

With the first Angel’s death, it sparked a chain reaction. Nurous Angels surrounding Richard plumted one after another, breaking apart as they hit the ground.

Soon enough, the Angels all turned to dust — the Dust of Ti.

The cause of all this was the Eternal Power — a forbidden force known as "Artush Tamkrosk" in records from the Ancient Wizard Civilization — which nearly no existence could resist, for in the face of eternity, everything becos fragile.

This was a subject of research even higher than "Spirit," and Richard had barely grasped it, but it was enough here.

Naturally, this consumption wasn’t small either. Using the "Eternal Power" had exhausted him, and several deep breaths were needed before his complexion returned to normal. He then looked towards where Sharye, the Silver Priest, had been.

Only to see that the spot was already empty.

Perceiving this, he cast his gaze towards the horizon, spotting a flickering shadow on the horizon line, disappearing from view in a flash.

Richard paused, then broke into a wry smile.

During the execution of the "Eternal Power," he sensed a weakening in the energy wave emanating from Sharye’s body, and suspected the other was cautiously observing, looking for the optimal mont to strike.

Unexpectedly, the other decisively fled.

Was this the fourth ti now?

Feeling a bit put out...

Fixing his gaze on the horizon, Richard blinked, then turned his gaze to High Spirit.

Since most of the Angels perished to the Eternal Power, coupled with Sharye’s escape, the high-end forces of the Heavenly Army suffered greatly. The remaining low and middle-level forces couldn’t withstand High Spirit, and were now nearly being slaughtered.

High Spirits were wreaking havoc amongst the Heavenly Army, relentlessly sweeping through, devouring batches of the True God’s People.

There’s little need to think; the war’s direction is clear, no surprises in store.

And so...

Richard spoke, addressing High Spirit: "Soma, you and the others continue the fight here. I’m going after an extraordinary individual. If anything unexpected happens, contact imdiately. Got it?"

"Yes."

Several fluctuations in spiritual power conveyed the ssage.

Receiving the information, Richard fird his gaze, once again focusing on the direction of Sharye’s escape.

Then, with a step forward, he soared into the air, beginning his pursuit, determined this ti to not let him slip away.

...

"Swish, swish, swish..."

Richard sped across the battlefield, advancing forward.

It wasn’t clear how far he traveled until the battlefield was long left behind, and a majestic group of palaces appeared before him.

The palaces were built with great grandeur, each resembling a mountain, and together like a mountain range, exuding a magnificent and imposing aura.

The materials used for the palaces were extrely special, seamless without any visible joins, appearing as though naturally ford.

At the entrance of an entirely golden, magnificently luxurious palace stood the bald Sharye.

Upon seeing this, Richard waved his hand, quickly forming a Blood Spear, ready to attack without rcy.

Unexpectedly, Sharye showed no sign of resistance, standing calmly at the palace entrance, looking over and speaking softly, "Welco."

Hmm?
