The blood-red mist simred and surged in the hall, rapidly filling every inch of space, every corner.

The purple fireball at the edge of the explosion was touched by the blood-red mist, and with a "poof" it shrank inward like a punctured balloon, vanishing completely in the blink of an eye.

The flas burning on the floor, seats, walls, and ceiling were extinguished as if doused with cold water when touched by the blood-red mist.

In just a blink, all combat energy in the hall dissipated, or rather, was absorbed by the blood-colored energy—the whole hall left with only the blood-red mist as its sole protagonist.

Then the blood-red mist sank, falling from the air, like a real blood-colored carpet on the ground.

"Tap, tap, tap..."

Footsteps echoed, slowly approaching from outside the hall.

Ma Qiu lay dazed on the floor, pinned down by Donna, perplexed. Ever since Donna had abruptly pulled him towards the hall’s exit, he found himself unable to think clearly, feeling dizzy.

anwhile, Donna was keeping Ma Qiu on the ground, trying to shield him, while turning her head towards the doorway, blinking her eyes constantly.

Behind the cover, those who had prepared to resist the purple fireball’s explosive power, the Court Security Officers and Keen’s subordinates, now left their cover, also looking towards the door in confusion and fear.

Judge Adam’s brow furrowed as he held the headless judge’s gavel, moving his gaze to the doorway.

Judge Adam’s teacher, holding the "Shalin Security Law," wore a slight smile, as if aware of the newcor’s identity.

Rayan also guessed the identity of the newcor, calming his prior anger, and gazing steadily at his rival, Keen.

Keen’s brow furrowed deeply, his fingers trembling slightly, but he quickly regained his composure, focusing on self-preservation, he waved his hand holding the magic wand, conjuring a thick yellow energy shield in front.

"Swish!"

Just as Keen’s energy shield ford, a blood-red light as thick as an arm shot from outside the hall, like a bolt from a ballista, smashing into the shield with a howl.

"Clang!"

A sound erupted as the shield shattered, the blood-red light continued forward without losing speed, piercing through Keen’s body before hitting the ground and spreading, making the red energy carpet thicker.

Keen faced the attack as if struck by lightning, his eyes opened wide in disbelief, collapsing on the ground.

Honestly, he didn’t want to believe any of this: he had prepared for self-sacrifice, ready for this probing, thinking a fierce battle would erupt, killed by a pawn of Shalin. But not, struck down by an unknown attack.

Had Shalin beco so dangerous, daring to kill him, the Deputy Judge, without bothering to use a pawn to scapegoat or find a reason to explain?

Lying on the ground feeling life power rapidly drain away, Keen’s body twitched uncontrollably, though not dead yet, death was ominously near, his heart full of unwillingness.

"Tap, tap, tap..."

The footsteps from outside the hall drew nearer, a figure walked in—it was Moli.

Moli was followed by several people - One-eyed Dragon, Ice Cube, Hulk, and Witch Su, her subordinates.

Moli entered with her subordinates, casting a glance at Ma Qiu and Donna pinned not far from the door, before her gaze landed on the twitching, dying Keen.

She pointed lightly with her hand and instructed, "Give him a swift release."

"Yes, Princess." Witch Su obeyed, striding towards Keen.

Reaching Keen’s side, she raised her right hand and forcefully struck him.

Keen, twitching, opened his bloodshot eyes wide, gradually dyed with a layer of gray. Soon the gray deepened, encompassing both eyes, then spread out, extending to the rest of his body.

"Crack, crack, crack..."

Soft sounds arose as Keen rapidly petrified, eventually turning into a statue.

At this mont, Witch Su raised her left hand again, striking Keen heavily.

"Crash!"

Keen, who had turned into a statue, shook, completely shattered, and turned into a pile of stone dust.

Su clapped her hands, shook her silver-gray robe, and looked at Moli to report, "Princess, it’s resolved."

"Hmm, good." Moli nodded slightly, looked at Judge Adam, and as if she had completely comprehended what had just transpired in the hall, she said slowly, "Judge Adam, I watched the trial just now, it was very good. However, next ti you encounter soone blatantly defying the law, you don’t need to show any rcy, you can instruct the Court Security Chief to execute them directly. Should the Court Security Chief fail, rest assured, others will make the execution—within Shalin, no one is allowed to challenge the authority of Shalin’s law—no one."

"Understood." Adam lowered his head slightly in response.

Moli then looked at Adam’s teacher, who had been standing at the entrance of the judge’s corridor, and spoke, "Mr. Hall, I must congratulate you, you have taught an excellent student. In my opinion, he is fully qualified to beco a Third-level Judge. Therefore, at the next judge qualification promotion examination, you need not deliberately hold back your student. In Shalin, we do strictly examine cases where nepotism leads to the misuse of public power, but if soone is genuinely excellent, continuously holding them back could suspect intentional suppression, don’t you think?"

"I understand, Your Excellency Moli." Replied the highest judge known as Mr. Hall, with his head bowed.

"That’s good." Moli said, and turned her gaze to Wizard Rayan, "Wizard Rayan, I can tell you exerted yourself fully in the battle earlier, you must have consud a lot of energy, so you can take a break for a period of ti, I will have Su temporarily take over your position as Court Security Chief. As for the Magic Wand you lost, I will instruct the Armory Departnt to craft a new one for you, no need to worry.

Of course, considering matters should end appropriately, before you rest, I hope you can assist Judge Adam to supervise and execute the results of the last trial. Criminal suspects should proceed to city service if that’s their sentence or be deported if so charged. If anyone’s case is severe, temporary adjustnts can be made and executed as required. Is that a problem?"

"No problem, Your Excellency Moli." Rayan replied earnestly.

"Very well, if there are no issues, I will take my leave." With that, Moli turned and walked out without looking back.

After Moli left, Rayan glanced at several of Keen’s subordinates in the hall, squinted his eyes, pointed to three people, and said, "You, you, and you, go pay the fine, and then wait to be deported from Shalin."

"What about ...?" Leonard, the bald man, asked nervously when he saw that Rayan hadn’t pointed at him.

"You?" Rayan looked at Leonard, raised an eyebrow, and said, "Your punishnt was supposed to be the sa as theirs, but since you attempted to provoke the court’s authority earlier, and it was not your first ti, you deserve heavier punishnt. The specific result will be left to the judge to decide."

"Leonard, the defendant." Judge Adam spoke in a tily manner from behind the judge’s desk, his voice cold and serious, "You have gravely provoked the dignity of the court and are guilty of contempt of court. According to Article Thirty-one of the Farlin Security Law, you are sentenced to three months of labor reform. After the reform, you will be forcibly deported from Shalin, and not allowed to enter the Shalin border for the next ten years."

"I..." Leonard wanted to argue.

But Judge Adam didn’t give him the chance, striking the gavel on the table with a judge’s mallet that had no head, he glanced at the only two observers who hadn’t left—Ma Qiu and Donna, then loudly declared, "Court adjourned!"

With that said, he walked out through the judge’s corridor with large strides.

Leonard opened and closed his mouth a few tis, helplessly shut it, and looked at Rayan.

Rayan smiled and asked, "Are you planning to comply with the execution now, or are you considering resisting a bit more?"

"This..." Leonard glanced at the stone powder that used to be the Deputy Judge and hesitated.

His three companions beside him raised their hands first, indicating they were powerless to help; they did not want to follow in the Deputy Judge’s footsteps.

Leonard sighed; he was one to understand the situation. His previous aggressiveness was partly due to his character, and partly because of the Deputy Judge’s instructions, which was why he dared to be so bold in Shalin.

Now, with the Deputy Judge not even leaving behind a body, and seeing no one coming to rescue him, he naturally wouldn’t seek his demise.

With a decisive shrug, he looked at Rayan and asked, "Where does the labor reform take place?"

"Co with , you’ll find out soon enough." Rayan smiled and led Leonard to the side.

...

Around the sa ti, Moli, who had left the Security Court, was walking on the street when she suddenly sensed sothing, turned her head slightly, and stopped.

Her few subordinates stopped along with her and cast questioning looks her way.

"I have so matters to attend to, you all head back first, I’ll return shortly," Moli said.

The four subordinates, seeing Moli’s serious deanor, did not inquire further and quickly complied and left.

Once her subordinates had left, Moli tapped the ground at her spot, lifted into the air, and flew towards the southeast.

After flying a few hundred ters, Moli stopped at the top of a four-story stone building, turned her head to the left, and saw a figure in a white robe appear.
