A mont.

In the night, Richard walked into a quiet alley in Farlo City and stopped in front of a wooden door, reaching out to knock "knock knock knock."

After knocking for a while, he stopped, quietly waiting for soone to co out from inside.

After waiting for more than a minute, there was no movent from inside. Just as he was about to knock again, a girl’s voice full of anger suddenly ca from inside.

"Hey, you outside! I don’t care who you are, if you dare to touch the door again, I’ll break your arm."

Richard: "..."

"Tap tap tap..."

The urgent sound approached, it sounded like soone was angrily walking over in wooden shoes.

While coming towards the courtyard door, the person complained bluntly: "Seriously! Knock during the day, knock at night, knock every day, every month, can’t I have so peace? It’s been three days in a row, just when I’m about to sleep, you bang on the door, really think this is a hotel."

Richard: "..."

"Tap tap tap!"

The footsteps grew heavier, the person inside evidently had reached the door, then with a "swoosh" opened the door. A round-eyed girl poked her head out, it was Justice Girl Naile, about to scold.

Suddenly, Naile’s expression stiffened, the words stuck in her throat, her eyes opened wider with disbelief and surprise as she looked at Richard standing outside and said: "It’s you?"

"Uh, it’s ." Richard replied.

...

More than an hour later.

Richard sat upright in the living room of Witch Cersi’s small courtyard. Not far from him, Witch Cersi was translating "Ancient Swedish" for him in the study.

The room was very quiet, Richard patiently waited, wondering what content Witch Cersi would translate.

One minute, two minutes, three minutes...

After three minutes, with a "creak," the side door of the living room opened, and Cat Slave Girl Heidi ca out, bringing a cup of tea forward, very politely saying: "Mr. Richard, here’s your tea."

After speaking, she took out a few sheets filled with writing from her bosom and placed them on the table, explaining: "Mr. Richard, my teacher is still translating for you. Now only one-third is translated, worried you’re anxious, I brought it over for you to see."

"Thank you."

"It’s nothing. You have a look, I’ll go help the teacher continue translating so it can be finished faster." Heidi said, striding away.

Richard watched her leave, picked up the paper with translated content, and began reading while continuing to wait.

In the blink of an eye, another hour passed.

With a "creak," the side door of the living room opened again, but this ti it was not Heidi, but Naile.

Naile was holding a white fruit the size of an apple, munching on it as she approached, her voice sowhat muffled as she spoke: "My teacher has translated another third of the content, take a look, the last third will be completed later."

After speaking, she took out a few sheets of paper from her bosom and handed them over.

"Alright." Richard nodded, took the paper, and started to read.

Then he heard the incessant crunching sound of the fruit being eaten beside him.

Richard looked up at Naile; she noticed, glanced over while continuing to eat the fruit.

You look at , I look at you.

You look at the fruit, I look at you.

You look at , I eat the fruit.

After a few seconds of staring, Naile finally seed to realize the awkwardness, swallowed the fruit with a gulp, hesitated for a mont, then offered the half fruit: "Do you... want a bite?"

Richard: "I..."

Clearly seeing the teeth marks, with traces of saliva beside them, Richard felt a headache: truth be told, he didn’t want the fruit.

Blinking, Richard was contemplating how to politely refuse, when Naile’s eyes suddenly widened, as if she had rembered sothing important, saying: "Hey, Richard, what do you think a baby from a mouse and a rabbit would look like?"

"Huh?" Richard was stunned, even with his lively thinking, facing the quirky Naile left him utterly confused with her intentions.

Naile observed, furrowed her brows, with so displeasure saying, "What, you don’t know? I thought you knew everything, but I overestimated you."

Richard’s expression twitched; he looked at Naile, unsure how to respond. Should he seriously explain genetic knowledge, telling her that rabbits and mice have reproductive barriers, unable to produce offspring?

"Sigh—" Naile sighed, saying, "Forget it, since you don’t know, I’ll find the answer myself."

As she finished speaking, she walked out, watched by Richard’s puzzled gaze.

Once outside, Naile leaned against the wall, quickly finishing the white fruit before patting her chest in relief, saying: "Phew, luckily I reacted quickly and changed the topic, otherwise with that guy’s eyes, he’d definitely agree to eat the fruit.

Actually, I was just being polite. If he really ate it, I’d lose out big ti. After all, I only get two of these fruits a day, can’t even bear to share with Heidi, how could I give him any?

This guy is so slow, otherwise how could he not know what kind of baby a rabbit and a mouse would have, hasn’t he seen a squirrel—jumping around, digging, and storing food."

Shaking her head lightly, Naile walked away.

In the room, Richard’s gaze remained odd for quite a while before he composed himself, browsing through the newly translated content.

...

Before long, another hour passed.

With a "creak," the side door of the living room opened once more, this ti Witch Cersi herself ca out, holding the last portion of the translated content, followed by Heidi and Naile holding a new fruit.

Endowed with an otherworldly and mysterious aura, Witch Cersi walked closer with light steps, placed the paper with translated content on the table, and looked at Richard saying: "Wizard Richard, all the Ancient Swedish has been translated, take a look."

"Alright." Richard nodded politely, saying, "Really sorry to trouble Witch Cersi."

"It’s no trouble." Cersi replied, "This is to be expected, after all, I’m not translating for free; it’s business."

"Even if it’s business, disturbing you at night was inappropriate, I was too anxious."

"It’s okay, I’m used to it."

Watching Richard and her teacher exchange polite words, Naile couldn’t help but shake her head, then began munching on the fruit.

"Crunch, crunch, crunch!"

The fruit was crispy and juicy, the sound was exceedingly loud.

Richard instinctively glanced over.

Witch Cersi noticed, turned her head, and sternly looked at Naile.

"Crunch, crunch." Naile, while eating, asked curiously, "Teacher, why are you looking at ?"

"Eat quietly." Cersi instructed.

"Why?"

"It’s polite."

"Okay." Naile reluctantly replied, holding the fruit, covered her mouth, and nibbled quietly.

"Crunch, crunch, crunch..." looking like a squirrel.
