Richard kept fiddling with the blood seal, trying to discern so hints of hidden secrets, trying to see how the legendary wizard Solos managed to hide knowledge and wealth in the seal.

However, after looking for a full ten minutes, he didn’t find anything useful.

Speaking of which, does this seal truly hide a secret, or is it just faking it?

Richard couldn’t help but frown, harboring doubts about the seal in his hand.

To be honest, if you really want to hide sothing, a seal isn’t a great option, after all, it’s so small. Besides being able to imprint specific patterns, I can’t think of any other suitable uses...

Hmm? Wait a second!

Richard suddenly thought of sothing, realizing he had previously fallen into a cognitive blind spot.

Slowly rotating the seal, he squinted at so faint ridges and depressions on its base, raising his eyebrows.

"Could it be that I’ve been overthinking this all along?" Richard mumbled to himself.

This can’t be entirely ruled out as a possibility.

After acquiring the blood seal, he conducted quite a bit of research and testing, trying to unravel its mysteries, but there was one thing he had never done, which was to let the blood seal perform its intended function — imprinting patterns pre-carved by soone.

Imprinting patterns...

Richard silently repeated these four words to himself, revealing a slightly self-mocking smile, and softly said, "If the secret really is hidden so obviously, then sotis overthinking isn’t beneficial."

"Hoo—"

Richard exhaled a light breath, without further ado, quickly found the red ink used for the seal, applied it to the base, and pressed the seal firmly onto a sheet of white paper.

After holding it down for a full second, Richard lifted the seal and gently placed it aside, looking at the pattern that appeared on the white paper.

Squinting slightly, he saw that the pattern was a sentence, with the text arranged closely together; it seed like a proverb, or perhaps a clue: "What I treasure most is already shown before you, but to find it, do not be misled by appearances — Solos."

"...most treasured thing... before you... to find it, do not be misled by appearances?" Richard echoed the sentence in a puzzled voice, his expression sowhat complex.

On one hand, he could now be certain the blood seal didn’t put the secret in an obviously simple place, so there was no need for much regret. On the other hand, all he found was a cryptic sentence, which seed to offer little progress in uncovering the secret, leaving the current clues still in suspension.

"This..."

Richard pursed his lips, reading the sentence on the paper repeatedly, contemplating what information might be concealed within.

"Is it a taphor?"

"A verbal puzzle?"

"A special cipher?"

"Or perhaps, a trap deliberately designed to mislead?"

Constantly pondering, Richard stared at the text on the paper, after several minutes, his eyes blinked dryly, and he suddenly spoke, "Ah?"

In that blink of an eye, he keenly noticed that the text on the paper seed to have imperfections—so parts appeared darker, while others lighter.

If it was just a few cases, it could be attributed to poor seal quality, nothing major. However, he discovered this variation was patterned, like a design.

Could it be that the printed text isn’t simple text, and each character has hidden information?

With this thought, Richard’s eyes lit up, without hesitation, he grabbed the blood seal from beside him and headed out. He walked to the research room in the chanical Processing Sector, intending to magnify the pattern at the base of the blood seal to see what it specifically hid.

This task might be sowhat troubleso for others, but for him, it was quite simple.

After all, when manufacturing the "Destructive Gloves," he used light engraving technology to mass-produce chips. If he could project a large template pattern onto a tiny magic chip using light, then reversing it to make a template of a fingernail-sized pattern shouldn’t be hard, right?

In less than half an hour, Richard had completed the task, clearly and accurately imprinting the pattern from the base of the blood seal onto a large sheet of paper one ter square.

On the paper, it was densely packed with tiny text!

The seemingly ordinary blood seal had used extrely obscure micro-carving techniques on its base to carve out hundreds and thousands of characters, arranging them to form the sentence initially seen: "What I treasure most is already shown before you, but to find it, do not be misled by appearances — Solos."

"So that’s what ’do not be misled by appearances’ ans," Richard muttered to himself, looking up at the writing, ready to see what Solos had to say, and then his expression beca quite interesting.

The words printed on the paper were nurous and beautifully written, exuding an artistic atmosphere, quite pleasing to the eye.

However, there was one small embarrassing issue—he didn’t recognize them.

Indeed, he didn’t recognize them.

He could ascertain the type of writing but couldn’t decipher the aning of each character.

The text on the paper was in "Ancient Swedish," known for its beautiful script, once popular among nobles and wizards, regarded as a symbol of status.

However, having a beautiful script is one thing; the high learning threshold is another.

This elegant language, difficult to spread widely, saw its masters dwindling over ti, and is almost lost today.

The legendary wizard Solos intentionally used "Ancient Swedish" to write down the secret, likely to showcase his profound knowledge and noble status, which, however, brought him considerable trouble.

Richard lightly knocked on the table, slowly pondering.

To be fair, with his ability, starting from scratch to master "Ancient Swedish" and decipher the aning is possible but would take several months.

This is evidently quite long, he can’t afford that ti; the best approach is to find soone proficient in "Ancient Swedish" to help decode it.

Considering the value of the text on the paper, it’s best to find soone trustworthy to avoid subsequent trouble.

As it happens, in Farlo City, he really knows such an acquaintance.

Then... no ti like the present?

Having made up his mind, Richard quickly packed up the paper with the text and walked out. Exiting Eden, he reached the courtyard on the ground.

Standing on the soil in the courtyard, Richard instinctively glanced up at the sky, seeing a canopy of stars, twinkling brightly.

"It’s already night..." Richard paused for a mont, hesitantly speaking, "Would it be inappropriate to disturb soone at this hour?"

"However... it doesn’t seem extrely late, disturbing soone might not be too excessive."

"Well then, alright..."

With that, Richard nodded and stepped out of the courtyard.
