Chapter 1041: Chapter 1039: It Won’t Be That Simple

“Foolish Witch Demon, don’t look at with those eyes that play with bones. I said, I possess great Wisdom, Wisdom etched into my Soul!” Tin Wood announced loudly with a deafening voice, “I am not sothing you lowly beings can compare to; I am the great Tree Sage, Forest Source, Immortal Guardian—Yuketrahill Alhaydon Ximu!”

“You—”

The Witch Demon Elder’s expression was as if he were choked, staring blankly at Tin Wood, and after a few seconds, he lowered his head to take a breath, then raised his head to look at Tin Wood, clenching his fists.

The fists tightened, loosened, loosened, then tightened again.

“I beg you,” the Witch Demon Elder finally looked at Tin Wood helplessly, “Can you quickly leave this place? I’ve only got a few hundred years left to live, there are many things I haven’t enjoyed yet, I really don’t have much ti to waste with you. Please go, I’m tired, I want to sleep, okay?”

“Is that so?” Tin Wood said coldly, “I guess your thoughts have been completely seen through by , unable to disguise any longer, huh? Begging to leave, don’t you think this attitude is overly humble? Normally, it should be begging you to let go, how could it be the other way around?

Admit it, the boy who captured is lurking at the exit, trying to ambush with you in a pincer. Unfortunately, I’ve already seen through your plot, all your preparations are useless. I will kill you here first, eliminate all threats in this space item, and prevent a pincer attack. Then I’ll go out and kill that boy, resolving everything!”

After listening to Tin Wood, the Witch Demon Elder’s expression twisted, eyes glaring, hands tightly clenched, teeth gritted. His body trembled due to overly tense muscles, strange sounds ca from his mouth, sounding a bit like laughter, yet a bit like crying.

“Ha, heh…”

“Alright, that’s enough.” Tin Wood looked seriously at the Witch Demon Elder, taking a battle stance, “Your current performance has fully demonstrated what a Trickster’s face looks like when exposed—pitiful and pathetic. I will not forgive you, as I said before, I will kill you and eliminate all threats.”

The Witch Demon Elder’s eyes remained wide open, bloodshot, hands clamped tight, veins bulging like worms, continuously trembling, speechless.

“Pathetic Trickster, are you ready? Prepare to die!”

Tin Wood shouted, striding towards the Witch Demon Elder. Two arms entwined with branches lifted high, purple light and blue arcs appeared, seemingly about to strike down.

“Pa!”

Suddenly a sound rang out, the ground under the Witch Demon Elder’s feet suddenly exploded, and he soared into the sky, leaping more than twenty ters high.

“Poof!”

A dense black mist gushed from the Witch Demon Elder’s body, like Ink, staining the air black.

With one hand reaching into the thick black mist, the Witch Demon Elder shouted loudly: “Dal!”

With the sound, the black mist at the spot grabbed by the Witch Demon Elder contracted sharply, rapidly forming into a scythe wrapped in black mist.

The scythe was large, the handle was a full two ters long, and the Scythe Blade was over a ter, used previously by the Witch Demon Elder to deal with an Inspector who infiltrated the mine, now aid at Tin Wood.

The reason for such desperation is simple, he was angry, truly angry!

“Damklycia Roanka!”

In the air, the Witch Demon Elder looked at Tin Wood and shouted, emotions intense beyond asure. This was not a Spell, but a native language from his birthplace village.

In this era, almost no one but him could understand, but everyone could perceive the aning within the words without issue.

After shouting, the Witch Demon Elder holding the scythe descended heavily, slashing out like Lightning, hitting Tin Wood’s body before he could launch an attack.

“Boom!”

The trendous force exploded, throwing Tin Wood off balance, his entire body flying away.

“Lola Xibak!”

The Witch Demon Elder still did not feel appeased, shouting the native language once more. The black scythe in hand enlarged, reaching over three ters long, the Scythe Blade extending to one and a half ters. With a step forward, he caught up to the body of Tin Wood being flung and slashed down heavily once again, striking Tin Wood.

Tin Wood soared even higher, falling yet further.

“Yaima!”

The Witch Demon Elder shouted for the third ti, the scythe swelled to five ters, the Scythe Blade extending over two ters, looking sowhat comical in hand. But the Witch Demon Elder paid no heed, catching up with Tin Wood once more, slashing down heavily from above.

Tin Wood swung his arms, a red light flashed over his surface, attempting to block, but the Witch Demon Elder’s Scythe Blade cleaved through it, then smashed against the trunk.

“Thud!”

A dull sound echoed as Tin Wood fell like a teor from the sky, slamming into the ground to create a large pit, remaining motionless for quite so ti.

“Pa!”

A sound rang out, the Witch Demon Elder landed beside the large pit, squinting at Tin Wood within the pit, dragging the colossal five-ter-long scythe behind, slightly panting. Panting, he muttered incomprehensible native language under his breath.

“Luo Pa! Pugais…”

Cursing continuously for about ten seconds, the Witch Demon Elder stopped, his eyes glinting as he glanced towards Tin Wood in the pit, noticing the other remained utterly still.

Dead?

Impossible, right?

The Witch Demon Elder frowned.

In his expectation, the Immortal Species Tin Wood ought to be strong, perhaps caught off guard, but not likely killed by just three swings. If the opponent were so weak, he wouldn’t have worried earlier.

Yet the opponent’s current display seed abnormal.

Where did it go wrong?

As the Witch Demon Elder pondered in doubt, his pupils suddenly shrank, seeing a mass of air in front of him compress swiftly under an invisible force. After compression, purple Energy erged, enveloping it, turning the compressed air into a rather powerful Energy Missile, whistling towards him.

Too fast, and too close.

The Witch Demon Elder barely reacted, forming a Shield of condensed black mist in front of him, but the purple Energy Missile was already upon him.

“Bang!”

A dull sound echoed, the missile shattering the Shield, striking the Witch Demon Elder like a stringless kite, hurling him away.

After flying dozens of ters, the Witch Demon Elder landed heavily, tilting his head, spitting out a mouthful of blackish blood.

Then, his eyes drifted towards Tin Wood’s location, seeing Tin Wood in the pit now lit with a pale golden glow all over. The trunk grew quickly, initially only about two ters, now rocketing to five ters in a few breaths, resembling a living column supporting a palace ceiling.

“Creak, creak!”

Tin Wood grasped the edge of the pit with branch-ford hands, slowly standing up, coldly glaring at the Witch Demon Elder. Above his head, Electrical Arcs flashed wildly, as if cradling a storm, akin to a God descending.

This was Tin Wood’s true power.

The Witch Demon Elder watched, wiping black blood from the corner of his mouth, exhaling lightly, murmuring, “I knew it, things wouldn’t be that simple.”
