The internal situation of the Dusk Bell was intricate and complex.

No one had a clear understanding of the misfortunes that befell these hunters.

Speaking out about it, no one would believe them.

Yes...

These hunters were now spending their daily lives drifting between the bathroom and the Dusk Bell Church Headquarters.

They would have diarrhea without eating or drinking.

IV drips were utterly useless, and like an allergy, they only made the diarrhea worse.

And yet they couldn't find the cause of the problem.

It was tough on them.

Who would have thought that a group of formidable hunters would suffer such torture?

Creak...

The sound of a door opening.

Matthew walked out of the bathroom, a trace of exhaustion flashing across his aged face.

Illness could make one a good doctor.

Although Matthew had not found a solution to this strange, almost curse-like diarrhea, he had deduced a pattern over the past few days.

Eat small als.

Drink less hot water.

Doing so reduced the number of tis they suffered from diarrhea each day.

"Actually, it's not unacceptable, at least so embarrassing secrets are dealt with,"

Matthew sighed to himself.

In middle age, one is bound to have all sorts of vexing matters, such as feeling helpless when faced with won or dealing with constipation...

Matthew had lived for several hundred years, and any physical urges had long since disappeared.

The only woman he ever loved was killed by his own hands the first ti he lost control of his Evil Spirit Transformation.

Since then, he had been attempting to resurrect his wife, only to later discover that it was impossible.

His heart beca ashen.

The constipation issues resulting from the long-term diarrhea gave his repressed inner self a slight relief.

Simply put, it was finding joy amidst the suffering.

Since it couldn't be solved anyway, might as well try to get used to it.

At that mont, Tiquel pushed the door open and ca in.

"Your Excellency, Jas has co back to life again. Although Ryan, that ntal illness hunter, is rather eccentric, it seems he really can treat and heal people..."

This was the routine report work.

But Matthew scoffed and said, "Do you believe he can treat and heal people? He's nothing but a blind cat that occasionally catches a dead mouse. Besides, even if he could heal, would you dare let him treat you?"

"Apart from drinking more hot water and electrotherapy, what does he know?"

Trusting Ryan is no better than trusting Satan!

Ashad, Tiquel lowered his head and said, "Your Excellency, I just think that even though his healing thods are ridiculous and not at all dical, maybe he could help us solve our diarrhea problem."

Matthew said in a deep voice, "Do you still think it's just diarrhea? This is a curse, the most malicious of curses. Surely soone wants to act against the Dusk Bell. Don't forget, there are not a few powers that dislike the Dusk Bell."

Tiquel said, "Do you an the Vanity Sect? But if they were to take action, shouldn't they do more than just cause us diarrhea and take away our combat effectiveness?"

Matthew narrowed his eyes and said, "That's also what I've been pondering. But apart from them, I can't think of anyone else capable of causing us problems without my noticing."

"By the way, have you figured out where Ryan got that stethoscope from?"

"No, I haven't seen anyone interact with him at all."

Tiquel spoke with great suspicion, as he hadn't noticed who gave Ryan the stethoscope—it was already in Ryan's hands when he saw it.

Matthew, however, snorted coldly and said, "I've always suspected that we have people from other forces within our ranks, but now it seems that this person might be stronger than I imagined, definitely soone from the Vanity Sect."

No matter how hard Matthew racked his brains, he couldn't trace the source of the event.

He could only attribute it to a curse, to the Vanity Sect.

That was the most logical conclusion.

To think that it was all Ryan's doing would be abnormal.

After all, in their eyes, Ryan was nothing more than a ntal illness hunter who, besides spitting everywhere and speaking senseless words, was incapable of anything else!

And that so-called director, who was always on their lips, who knew who that was!

With that thought,

Matthew gestured to Tiquel and said, "You don't need to watch Ryan during this ti; spread a ssage internally that I'm preparing to leave Dusk Bell to have a talk with the people from the Vanity Sect."

Tiquel nodded, "Yes, Your Excellency."

Matthew nodded and turned towards the shadows.

Puzzled, Tiquel asked from behind, "Your Excellency, where are you going?"

Without turning his head, Matthew replied, "Of course to trouble the Vanity Sect."

Tiquel was even more puzzled, "But didn't you want to spread the word; wasn't your intention to show those people?"

Matthew let out a cold chuckle and turned his head to look at him, "So they will think I'm still at Dusk Bell."

...

The affairs of Dusk Bell Church were destined not to be understood by outsiders.

anwhile, an elderly man in Europe was furiously watching a red balloon drift away in the distance, cursing aloud.

"This damned thing, just ran away like that?"

"And it even took with it an Evil Spirit transford from a mber of the Veda Sect, it's truly despicable!"

The old man had lost all his hair, his skin was dull, and he was covered with liver spots.

It was none other than Alvin Dowqui.

This old hunter, who was nearing death, wanted to vent his frustration but was depressingly unable to do so.

His companion, also an old man, said, "Alvin, I know you're feeling suffocated, but that thing is gone. We can't find it in a short ti. Instead of continuing in vain, it would be better to convey this to Dusk Bell. They despise Evil Spirits more than we do and certainly won't ignore such a big trouble."

Alvin Dowqui felt even more suffocated the mont it was brought up.

He helplessly said, "The people at Dusk Bell are also clueless, showing no signs of surfacing. I've already had Mr. Du Wei pass along the news that I'm about to die."

"But to this point, no one has laid a hand on ."

"Those within Dusk Bell who have a grudge against are acting as if they've beco saints. What has led them to set aside their hatred?"

Alvin Dowqui was utterly baffled.

His companion counseled, "Hadn't you said before that the people at Dusk Bell are definitely brewing sothing? There's bound to be an opportunity for you to take action."

Alvin Dowqui's expression softened slightly, and he sighed deeply.

Looking towards the twilight sky.

The feeling of decay on the old man beca ever more pronounced.

Involuntarily, Alvin Dowqui groaned and pressed towards his chest, a weird flush of red appearing on his face, which he then forcibly suppressed.

"Let's return to the church. I really can't hold on much longer."

"That kid nad Du Wei, I need to find an opportunity to et him. I've always felt that he's too calculating, but his recent behavior has surprised ."

"His willpower, morality, and sense of responsibility are too strong. Moreover, the cause of my grandfather Andrew Dowqui's death was also discovered with his help."

"The only person who can replace is him. I will talk to the others about this, it's best to get it settled soon."
