She didn’t know why she was crying, but her heart just felt unbearable, as if soone had secretly stolen her most precious treasure, leaving her panicked and lost.
Tears stread down her face as she ran forward, and suddenly...
She bumped into soone!
"Watch out..." The person kindly caught her by the waist just as she was about to fall.
Tong Keke fell into the other person’s arms without any suspense, a faint scent of lemon wafting into her nose.
She froze, and then she heard the person unexpectedly call out her na: "Tong Keke... is that you!"
Tong Keke heard the voice and imdiately lifted her head. Through her tear-filled eyes, a handso face ca into view.
"Gong Ze?" Tong Keke exclaid his na in surprise, then noticed the aristocratic school uniform he was wearing. She jerked away as if struck by lightning, backing up a ter in an instant: "How could it be you? What are you doing here?"
A bodyguard nearby imdiately replied: "My young master is here to dine!"
Tong Keke realized she’d asked a foolish question and glared at him with resentnt in her beautiful eyes: "Don’t you watch where you’re going? Did you bump into on purpose?"
"Tong Keke, mind your words. Clearly, you threw yourself into my arms. I was walking just fine, and it seems that the rumors about you having a crush on at school aren’t unfounded after all." Gong Ze raised an eyebrow sowhat smugly, his mischievous yet handso face striking, embodying the top heartthrob in the elite high school.
His personality was arrogant and aloof, drawing plenty of attention from female students, and although he appeared nonchalant, his grades were excellent, qualifying him as a top student.
The reason Tong Keke and he were at odds was that everyone in school, plus those from other schools, was infatuated with Gong Ze, except Tong Keke barely gave him a second glance.
Gong Ze had actually noticed Tong Keke for a while and had a few encounters, but they always ended on a sour note.
Now, having run into each other, it naturally seed like a fateful encounter again.
At this mont, Tong Keke felt extrely distressed. If they were at school, she’d definitely argue with him.
But now, with her heart aching, she had no will to fight and just wanted to leave urgently.
"Are you crying? Who bullied you?" Gong Ze, after saying those words, realized that this girl’s eyes were red, tears still on her cheeks. His gaze shook, and just before she brushed past him, he caught her arm.
"It’s none of your business, let go!" Tong Keke didn’t expect this jerk to actually grab her, and she angrily and anxiously rebuked.
"I won’t let go until you tell who bullied you." Gong Ze’s temper also flared up, though he didn’t know why he needed to know so badly, especially since he supposedly disliked this girl.
Tong Keke was nearly dying of frustration. She was already in so much pain, why did he have to be so unreasonable?
Just as Tong Keke was about to desperately break free from his grasp, her beautiful eyes suddenly caught sight of a tall, elegant figure in the distant hallway, and she froze, as if her soul had been sucked away.
Gong Ze’s handso brow furrowed; he knew she was stubborn and wouldn’t say a word unless pressured.
Just as Gong Ze was about to spit out a few more harsh words, Tong Keke suddenly stopped struggling, instead hurriedly extending a sweaty little hand, clasping it tightly with his large palm.
