The pressure that descended upon the city did not e from a single source. There were two.

The first felt familiar. It was from the female Demigod in the sky.

When it first arrived, the pressure had inspired awe, feeling ancient and majestic, like the arrival of a creature that naturally stood above lesser lifeforms.

This time, however, that same presence had bee far more reckless and far more forceful.

There was no restraint behind it. It crashed down upon the city like an invisible ocean, forcing buildings to groan and countless beings to collapse beneath its weight.

As for the second pressure, it felt pletely different.

There was no aggression behind it. It seemed to be nothing more than the natural aura released by the creature as it appeared. Yet somehow, it was just as powerful.

The two pressures overlapped. Together, they became something so oppressive that even Michael, who had mentally prepared himself, was forced down onto one knee.

General Caelum and Director Lin were in nearly the same situation, looking miserable under the sudden strain. Teacher Brian and Instructor Yara had already fallen to their knees, unable to resist.

Fortunately, Michael and the other two Rank Four experts soon caught their bearing and recovered.

But if even people like them were struggling, one could only imagine what was happening to the rest of the city.

If not for Michael's undead scattered across the streets resisting the pressure with all their strength, far more people would have died but even with all this, as the seconds ticked by, the crushing aura alone was taking lives, especially among the children.

A strained voice sounded beside Michael.

"Is that… a dragon?"

Michael didn't respond, his gaze fixed on the sky.

The question had e from General Caelum. His voice no longer carried its usual authority, filled instead with pure disbelief.

The ceiling of the apartment obstructed ordinary sight, but for existences at their level, such a barrier meant very little.

Their vision pierced through concrete and steel, and what they saw caused everyone to fall silent.

'Is that truly a dragon?' Even Michael couldn't help but think in shock.

Aurora had no known dragon population, so why was one here?

The sky above Brightgate City had disappeared. Something enormous had blocked the sun.

"S-s-so h-h-huge!" Instructor Yara exclaimed in shock.

Michael had seen giants before, including his own Undead High Drake, which normally stood around three hundred meters tall and could reach six hundred meters when empowered.

At the time, that size had seemed absurd. Yet the being now appearing above the city was far larger. Only its head had emerged through the distorted layers of space, yet that alone seemed large enough to cover the heavens.

The sunlight vanished. An enormous shadow spread across countless streets.

Dark scales covered the creature's face, each larger than a building, with thin lines of green light pulsing between them like veins of deathly fire.

Two colossal horns stretched backward into the distorted sky. Its nostrils released clouds of pale mist.

Then its eyes opened.

Two enormous emerald suns appeared, their gaze falling upon the city.

The sight filled the female demonic Demigod with immense shock and rising fear, though the dragon's killing intent quickly stirred her anger in return.

The gigantic creature looked down at her without releasing a roar.

The sheer natural pressure radiating from its existence forced cracks to appear across her blood barrier.

General Caelum stared upward in silence. Director Lin's sharp mind failed to process what she was witnessing.

The creature resembled a dragon, its majesty unmatched, yet standing beside the Demigod felt like looking at truth and illusion at the same time.

Unlike the confused supernaturals, Michael understood what was happening.

The creature above might look like a match for the Demigod in terms of rank, but it was truly just a Rank Four creature in the end.

Through Echoed Bestowal, he had copied the traits of Beginning and Lucky onto the Undead High Drake.

bined with the six-hundred-percent boost to his law effectiveness from Aurora's Child and the Three-Star Epic Grade Enhancer, the skill had pushed far beyond the drake's original form.

Through sheer coincidence, choosing two traits aligned with draconic heritage had triggered a qualitative change, temporarily pulling the creature closer to the origin of its species.

It wasn't a permanent transformation into a true dragon, but for the next twenty minutes, those limitations didn't matter.

The enormous undead dragon lowered its head slightly, sending a violent storm sweeping across the city.

The blood-robed woman raised both hands as her barrier thickened, wrapping herself in layers of crimson armor formed from blood while six wings spread behind her.

Above the city, the undead dragon's jaws opened. A sphere of condensed green energy formed within its throat, expanding rapidly from ten meters to a hundred.

The surrounding space collapsed inward, swallowing every trace of light. The pressure released by the gathering attack caused the blood-robed woman's expression to change pletely.

For the first time since arriving, fear appeared within her eyes.

At the same time, Michael's own expression changed. His pupils contracted.

Before activating Echoed Bestowal, Michael had already issued a mand through his connection with his Undead High Drake to try and defeat the female Demigod, and if that proved impossible, to delay her with everything it had and most importantly force the battle away from the city.

That single instruction had been engraved into the undead before the transformation even began.

Yet something had definitely gone wrong now that he saw its actions.

Michael could still feel the connection. He could still issue mands. The Undead High Drake had not broken free from his control.

However, for some reason, there was resistance. It wasn't the undead resisting him. Rather, it was something instinctive.

Michael had experienced something vaguely similar in the Origin Battlefield when he had seized control of another Rank Four necromancer's undead.

At that time, the Bone Dragons and Bone Wyverns had instinctively resisted changing masters. However, pared to that resistance, this was entirely different.
