The next day, it was the Reaper Association Academy: Cindralock matriculation ceremony. The school’s grounds were grand, with towering buildings designed to inspire awe.

I felt the presence of power all around as other students, many from prestigious families walked confidently through the halls.

The ceremony was packed with students from all class in the school; Mages, Hunters, Pyromancer, Cryomancers, Healers, Necromancers, etc. So wearing gear and enchanted robes.

I took a seat near the back, observing the other students as they whispered amongst themselves. Most of them didn’t pay much attention to , though I could feel the occasional gaze of curiosity directed my way.

The Chancelor, a man in his late ages, stood at the front of the huge lecture hall, his presence commanding respect.

He welcod the new students, carrying authority as he spoke while stroking his long, grey beard.

"Good morning students, I am the Chancelor Hans Wagner and I sincerely welco you to RAA: Cindralock, where the strongest awaken, and legends are born". he started, pacing up and down the poduim with a mic that applified his voice ten fold.

"Each of you has been carefully chosen for your unique potential, over the next two years, you will face challenges that will test your resolve, strength and wisdom."

I couldn’t help but be impressed by the Chancellor’s impending aura.

After the ceremony, I t my assigned class advisor, who handed my academic schedule for the first sester. The subjects were challenging, focusing on combat, Arcane energy theory and manipulation and Dungeon gate navigation.

Each class was designed to push the students to their very limits, preparing them for the harsh realities of being a Reaper outside of the academy.

Combat training was focused on physical and magical combat, it was to be taught twice a week for optimum results.

Arcane energy theory and manipulation was focused on the deeper principles of magic and how Arcane energy is the necessary spark to making it happen, it also involved the interaction of Anti-arcane energy with dungeon gates and how to convert Anti-arcane into pure Arcane effectively, to be studied three tis a week.

The Dungeon gate navigation taught about the history and science of gates and how to operate when one enventually enters it, it was to be taught once a week.

I made a ntal note of the schedule, feeling a mixture of excitent and determination. Students ca from different places just to be able to study here, so I was sure to et people of different background, mindset and principles.

Butt for now, I needed to focus on my training and ensure I stayed ahead of the competition.

By the end of the day, I returned ho feeling exhausted but ready for the challenges ahead. My siblings welcod with stories of their first day at the new house that we purchased and how they managed to get enrolled in a school for primary education. As we sat down for dinner, I felt a rare sense of peace, but in the back of my mind the weight of the unknown still lingered on.

"Two years... I have to be ready," I whispered to myself as I fingered the plate of food seating before on the dinning table.

A mont later, while still at the dinning table I suddenly heard the system sound ring loudly in my ear with an audible...

Ding!

I looked to the side to see a mission notification and my heart raced with excitent seeing the task’s information.

~System Notification: New Mission Available~

~Objective: Clear the designated mid-level Dungeon Gate~

~Reward: Class Unlock~

"Class unlock? What the hell is that?"

ONE WEEK LATER.

It had been a week since the matriculation ceremony at RAA: Cindralock, and I had been working hard to adjust to my new life and everything it demanded from .

The lessons were intense, pushing my combat and magical knowledge to the very limit. I was taught things I never knew before, even with my vast intelligence and incredible ntal capacity.

Yet, despite the hard work, I couldn’t shake the feeling that sothing was missing. Coincidentally, I got a system notification for a dungeon gate task that would reward with a Class— sothing that I don’t have at the mont.

Most people awaken their class during the Awakening Ceremony at 18 years of age, gaining unique powers and skills associated with their class. Pyromancers, Cryomancer, Mages, Hunters, Necromancers, Terramancer, Aeromancers, Pet Tars and Healers.

These were the nine confird classes that the international magic community recognised and every awakened human being fell into one of these categories depending on what their powers.

However, so classes were extrely rare more than others. Like the Necromancer class is known to be extrely rare and no more than a few individuals have awakened such abilities, the sa goes to the Aeromancer class, although they are slightly more common than the Necromancer class, they are still not very frequent.

I, however, didn’t have any definite distinction that would assign a known class like everyone else. Putting all my powers into consideration I virtually touched abilities that belonged to Pyromancer, Cryomancer, Mage, Pet tar and Hunter class.

Instead of a definite class, I got this mysterious system that had guided since then, helping levelup and grow stronger without anyone knowing.

I sat in my room thinking about what class would most likely suit and my abilities, I had reached level 30 after countless battles and yet, there was still level to improve as I could grow infinitely without any ceiling to cap my potential. All I had to do was work!

Suddenly, while I was still deep in thought, that familiar system sound rang in my ear again.

~System Notification: New Mission Available~

~Objective: Clear the designated mid-level Dungeon Gate~

~Reward: Class Unlock~

~Extra Reward: 5 Levels, New Skills and extra stats points~

"The system has given more rewards as a form of persuasion..." I muttered to myself while I rubbed the base of my chin gently.

Why was it hell bent on fulfilling this task? Although the class unlock was intriguing enough, it still added new rewards that I just cannot ignore.

This mission would define my path and what I would be identified as. Pet tar? Mage? Which would it be?

I tapped the screen and read through the details. The mission required to enter a mid level dungeon gate and clear it by killing the boss monster.

Even though I didn’t have clearance to enter a gate, I would have to be creative for this one. The stakes were high, but the reward was even greater.

Ding!

~Would you like to accept the Class Awakening Quest?~

~Note: This decision is irreversible~

I stood up from my position, staring at the dialogue box.

~Yes~

~No~

Without hesitation, I dashed across the room and packed my gear preparing for the mission.
