Rose laughed.

Pulled out a Red velvet.

Handed it to him.

"And this."

Alex opened it.

Inside—

A dal.

Dragon-shaped.

Gold and silver intertwined.

The number "1" engraved.

"First-Class Dragon dal. Five percent discount at any official facility. Shops, services, contracts. And it’s an advanced ID. Opens doors. Literally and figuratively."

"Only people who made great contribution can get one, even the principle in storm high doesn’t have it."

Alex stared at it.

Picked it up.

Heavy.

"I... I just helped threw so fish cans and bomb. And I got this!?"

Also there were system award, those skill level up and attributes increase, man! No wonder how great it feels to be the MC!

Rose’s expression softened.

"You stopped an X-rank summoning. Saved dozens of lives. Including Victor’s team. The governnt doesn’t forget that."

Alex couldn’t stop grinning.

"Uh, so collecting fish can is right! Oh yeah!"

Rose cough,"emm, try not to use them when i am there."

Alex send it into the system bag, and turned.

"A treasury, huh? Do they have a ti machine?"

Rose’s eye twitched.

"What?"

"Or like... a pot that generates infinite money? You know, just keeps spitting out cash?"

Rose’s eyebrow raised.

"Alex—"

"Oh! Aladdin’s lamp! Three wishes, right? That’d be perfect!"

Snapped his fingers.

"I already planed the wishes! The first one give super fertality! The second one give all hot won! The last one give power based on the woman I have!"

"Wow! just think about it!"

"ALEX."

Rose’s face red, rubbed her thighs, breath heavier.

"We’re the governnt. Not gods. The things you want... only exist in dreams. Or fairy tales."

Alex deflated.

"Aw. Boring."

Then perked up.

"Okay, new plan. You pick the most expensive thing. I’ll take that."

Rose’s lips curved.

"Can’t. Rules are rules. You have to choose. Yourself."

Her eyes lingered on his bare chest.

"No one can help you."

Alex groaned.

"But I don’t know what they have! What if I pick sothing la? And there’s like... a dragon egg right next to it?"

Rose laughed.

"Then you better choose carefully."

The car slowed.

They approached a checkpoint.

Tall walls.

Ard guards.

Rose rolled down her window.

Showed her badge.

The guard looked.

Saluted.

"Madam Rose."

Looked at Alex.

Shirtless.

dal around his neck.

Back to Rose.

"Nice taste..."

Nodded.

Rose flush.

The gate opened.

They drove through.

Buildings ahead.

Massive.

Stone and steel.

Rose smiled.

"Welco to the National Treasury."

"Ready?"

Alex grinned.

"Hell yeah."

Alex grabbed Rose’s arm.

Stopped her before she could walk away.

"Oh, and btw, can you just help a little bit on the picking? I can do anything you want!"

Rose turned.

Raised an eyebrow.

Looked at his hand on her arm.

Then at his face.

Smiled.

Slow.

Dangerous.

"Anything?"

Her voice dropped.

Sultry.

Alex nodded eagerly.

"Anything!"

Grinned wide.

"Seriously, you want to wash your car? Done. Cook dinner? Sure. Massage? I’m great with my hands—"

Rose’s smile widened.

She stepped closer.

Hand reaching up.

Finger trailing down his bare chest.

From collarbone.

Down.

Over his abs.

Stopped at his waistband.

Alex’s breath caught.

Heart hamring.

"Anything, huh?"

Her voice a whisper.

Face inches from his.

"That’s a dangerous offer, Alex."

Her finger hooked into his waistband.

Tugged.

"Very dangerous."

Alex swallowed.

Hard.

This hard has two anings.

"I... uh..."

Rose looked at him.

Her smile faded.

"How old are you again?"

Alex frowned.

Confused at the sudden shift.

"Seventeen. I told you."

"Then no."

Rose bite her lip, let go.

"And your birthday?"

"Two months. December 15th. Why—"

Rose’s smile returned.

Blood across her face.

"Two months, I can wait two months."

Alex cover himself.

"Yoyoyo!!Watch your words!"

...

5minutes later.

[5 Minutes Later - Treasury Entrance]

Alex buttoned up a clean white shirt.

Rose had grabbed it from sowhere.

Said she kept spares in the car.

"For ergencies."

He didn’t ask what kind of ergencies.

Just put it on.

Better than walking around half-naked in a governnt building.

Pulled out his phone.

Screen lit up.

67 missed calls.

49 from Lilian.

The rest unknown numbers.

ssages flooded in.

A lot, a lot, mainly from Bob and Lilian.

[Alex? are you okay? Please hold on! Auntie will try to save you!]

[Bro! Don’t die yet! I haven’t tell you all the hot milf I got you through dating app!]

Alex winced.

Typed quickly.

[Alex: I’m fine. Out now. Talk later. Love you Lilian! I will kiss you untill you pass out tonight!]

Sent to both.

Put phone on silent.

He’d deal with this after.

Right now—

Treasury.

[Treasury Vault - Interior]

Alex stepped inside.

Stopped.

Stared.

Holy shit.

The room stretched endlessly.

High ceiling.

Maybe fifty feet up.

Marble floors.

Polished. Gleaming.

Rows of pedestals lined the walls.

Each one holding sothing.

Glowing orbs.

Ancient weapons.

Crystallized beast cores.

Scrolls floating in stasis fields.

Armor pieces radiating power.

The air humd.

Energy everywhere.

Thick. Tangible.

Made his skin tingle.

"Don’t touch anything without permission."

Rose’s voice.

Right behind him.

"So items have defensive enchantnts."

Alex nodded.

Couldn’t look away.

So much stuff.

How was he supposed to choose?!

Oh! and there is a huge bed! Looks comfortable as hell!

When I turn 18... I want to throw Lilian on that..and raven!

Or maybe two together?

Movent ahead.

Soone else was here.

A young man.

Blue hair.

Swept back stylishly.

Maybe eighteen or nineteen.

Tall. Lean build.

Expensive clothes.

Designer everything.

He stood in front of a pedestal.

Examining a gauntlet.

Behind him—

An old man.

White beard down to his chest.

Traditional robes.

Hands clasped behind his back.

The old man looked up.

Saw Rose.

Nodded respectfully.

"Madam Rose."

"Mr Feng."

Rose smiled back.

Mr Feng’s eyes shifted to Alex.

Widened slightly.

"Oh?"

Stepped forward.

"Another candidate?"

Looked Alex up and down.

"And so young."

He stroked his beard.

"Interesting. I didn’t expect anyone younger than Caelum here."

Gestured to the blue-haired youth.

Caelum glanced back.

Looked at Alex.

Expression neutral.

Didn’t say anything.

Turned back to the gauntlet.

The old man chuckled.

"Forgive him. He’s focused."

Extended his hand.

"I’m Master Feng. Caelum’s instructor."

Alex shook it.

"Alex."

"Ohh, now I know why you are here, impressive man!"

Master Feng smiled brightened.

"Word travels fast in our circles."

He gestured to Caelum again.

"This is Caelum Frost. First-year at Holy Dragon University. Top of his class. He just returned from the International Youth Beast Master Competition.

Brought ho honour for the nation. That’s why he’s here."

Caelum didn’t turn.

But his shoulders straightened.

Master Feng continued.

"He’s one of the few at the pyramid’s peak. Only nineteen, but already bonded with an SS-rank Beast."

"We all think he would be the rising stars of the nation!"

Rose raised an eyebrow.

Alex looked at Caelum.

"Nice hair."

Caelum paused.

Turned.

Looked at Alex.

Analytical.

"You too."

Gave a slight nod.

Then turned away.

Head high.

Chin up.

Back to examining items.

Master Feng laughed.

"Don’t mind him. He has... what do you young people call it?"

Scratched his beard.

"Ah, yes. Chuunibyou."

Caelum’s shoulders tensed.

"He likes to act mysterious. Play the cool genius."

"Master."

Caelum’s voice sharp.

"Do not reveal the heavenly secrets."

"They shall be hidden, under the darkness, belongs to the lord of mystery."
