Chapter 331: Three-Fold Transformation
Liora quickly regained her consciousness and returned to reality.
The moment she exited the illusory battlefield, she found herself in a large hall supported by temple-like columns.
Unlike the rooms she had visited so far, the hall was relatively intact.
No traces of battle could be seen, while neither fragmented weapons nor corpses littered the floor.
Only a giant throne could be seen at the center of the hall, and a colossal figure was silently sitting on it.
It was a young man. He wore an impressive golden armor and held a blood-covered sword in his right hand, whose tip was embedded in the floor below him.
His body was intact, and he didn’t have any apparent injuries, while his eyes were open and staring in Liora’s direction, as if scanning over the intruder.
However, Liora did not show any fear.
She could see that the man lacked any signs of life, and despite there not being any obvious traces of it, he was already dead. He had died thousands of years ago, in the ancient battlefield she had just witnessed.
