"Mommy, are you tired? Do you want to take a nap with ?" Xiao Bao tugged his mother's sleeve to get her attention. He noticed that she was unusually silent these days and had rarely talked to him and Little Star.
Little Star overheard their conversation and slipped from her Auntie i's l.a.p. She stood next to Tang Moyu, blinking her eyes in confusion.
"Does it still hurt, Mommy? Should I ask Auntie Lu for your dicine?" She asked her mother worriedly.
Tang Moyu let a smile spread on her lips and brushed her daughter's wavy hair away from her cute little face.
"No, I'm alright. It doesn't hurt that much anymore." She responded, aware that her twins had been scared and worried since her accident.
Feng Tianyi hadn't told them about the accident and Tang Beixuan's death until she woke up on her hospital bed. The fear that shot through them was enough for the twins to burst into tears, wailing for their mother. Since Tang Moyu returned ho, Xiao Bao and Little Star started to beco really clingy with her, not wanting her to leave on her own again.
"But Mommy…" Little Star wanted to say that Tang Moyu didn't look okay at all.
"It's okay, darling." Li ili chid in and winked at Little Star. "Your mommy is just a little tired today, but she will be fine soon. Now, I think I rember soone promising that I'll get to have an ice cream on my next visit. I wonder if my babies have forgotten their promise."
Little Star gasped before she pulled her twin brother's arm, trying to get his attention to answer Li ili.
"Yu Gege and I made a yoghurt with daddy yesterday! We don't have ice cream because daddy said we already ate enough the other day. Is yoghurt good enough for you Auntie i? We made different kinds of flavors."
"Wow, that sounds so enticing. Can I have one of those too, Little Star?" Gu Yuyao asked as she rested her chin on her hand.

The two little buns' faces lit up and they nodded their heads at the sa ti. Xiao Bao dragged his twin sister back to the mansion to find Auntie Lu, leaving their mother and her friends in the vast garden behind the mansion.
"Moyu, what's going on? Is sothing the matter?" Li ili asked as she had not failed to notice the unusual silence coming from her best friend.
Tang Moyu stared at her for a mont before glancing at Gu Yuyao and the two cousins looking at her, their eyes filled with curiosity.
"I don't think you should co here so often for the ti being, especially you, ili. Not until Tianyi and I can fix the problem. This is for everyone's safety."
Gu Yuyao furrowed her brows. She was aware that her husband was working with Feng Tianyi on sothing confidential but she didn't know that it was also related to Tang Moyu.
"You better give us a good reason, Moyu. Aren't we friends? Did soone threaten you? If you need help, my Gu family will extend a hand. Just say the word." She told the empress.
"Sister Moyu, if there's sothing we can help you with, just tell us. Isn't this what friends are for?" Lin Qianrou agreed with Gu Yuyao.
If Tang Moyu and Li ili hadn't helped her back then, there's no doubt that she and Xu Wenyang would have divorced and gone their separate ways, leaving her to raise her son alone. If she could help Tang Moyu even just a little to repay her, Lin Qianrou was willing to do so.
Tang Moyu wasn't sure how to tell her friends, but losing Tang Beixuan was enough and she didn't want any of them to be hurt or end up losing their lives because of her. The culprit wanted her to die for so twisted reason or motive she didn't know.

Li ili fell silent, her mind going at a thousand miles per hour as she thought of Tang Beixuan who had lost his life unjustly. Tears brimd her eyes as her lips quivered.
"I understand." She said after a long silence between herself and Tang Moyu. She understood why the empress was telling her this. She could feel her whole body trembling, not from the coldness of the afternoon breeze, but because of anger.
