"Are you sure you aren't going to join them? You've been working too hard lately. Moyu, what's going on?" Feng Tianyi placed the plate with scrambled eggs on the dining table and crossed his arms, looking down at the empress who was busy putting cream and sugar in her coffee.
"My mother…" She muttered under her breath, but was loud enough for Feng Tianyi to hear her. "But don't worry. Nothing that I can't deal with."
Feng Tianyi stared at her for a mont and sighed. She shouldn't be keeping these problems to herself. Had she forgotten she wasn't alone anymore?
"What is she up to? Does Lu Tianxin and Gu Yuyao know?" He asked, taking a seat next to her.
"They know." She admitted. "Tang Zhelan has sold her shares. Sothing is up. That's for sure."
"So what do you plan to do now?" He cupped his chin and looked at his wifey. Ah, if only he could work alongside her at Tang Enterprise, he didn't mind terrorizing her family for trying to bully her.
Tang Moyu shrugged. She couldn't do anything but be on guard and wait for her mother's next step. She took a bite of the toast he had freshly made, chewing slowly as she pondered about it.
"I've already expected that they will try to seize the control of the managent of Tang Enterprise. They are kinda slow in my opinion." The empress couldn't be bothered about what the Tang family thought of her at the mont.
However even if Zhang Wuying wanted to oust her, it wouldn't be easy to convince the board because her performance had been so exceptional that it could not easily be refuted. She brought massive profits to the company, which none of the previous CEOs of Tang Enterprise ever did. This was why she gained the favor of the majority of the board mbers and their investors.
"How's Xiao Xing by the way? Do you need help?" She asked. Most of the work for Xiao Xing was being done by him and Song Fengyan anyway. She was a partner at the company, yet aside from the investnt capital she churned out to start the company, Tang Moyu had never done any work for Xiao Xing Diamond Co.
"Doing good so far. The plant is about to open next month. We've already hired the managers to oversee the production, but it would take so ti before we can comnce the actual production." Feng Tianyi said before glancing at the doorway, seeing his mother joining them for breakfast.
"Good morning, Moyu. Tianyi." Song Huifen said, tightening her robe around her form as she casually walked towards the coffeemaker to get herself a cup of coffee. "You're early today."
"Good morning, Lady Song." Tang Moyu greeted back, her eyes following the older woman. This was the first ti she'd slept at her boyfriend's mother's place and she didn't know how to act.
"Morning, Mother. Fengyan will take the twins for a tour." Feng Tianyi inford his mother about today's agenda. They only have a day to spend here in Beijing before they return ho to Shenzhen the next day.
"I know. That's why I'll be going with them, so you better enjoy the day yourselves." Song Huifen winked at them which made the empress blush at her suggestion.
The old woman was definitely trying to sell his son hard to her. They were really mother and son by the looks of it. Aiya, having a thirty five year old single son must be hard for her.
Feng Tianyi only laughed at his mother's suggestion. She really knew how to ruin the mood between him and the empress.
"Anyway, before you go, Mother. I need a word with you if you aren't too busy today." He told Song Huifen. It was ti to hear the truth from her.
"Sure. I'll be in my study room. et whenever you are ready." Song Huifen said before leaving the couple on their own to finish so work before she left with the twins later.
"Is there sothing wrong?" Tang Moyu asked him, following his gaze. There was sothing about the way he looked at his mother that made her worry. Or was she imagining things?
"No. Nothing's wrong. Just a family matter that she and I need to settle soon." He patted her hand.
'I'll tell you soon, Moyu. But not this ti. Just give a little more ti.' Feng Tianyi thought as he pushed her hair out of her face as she ate.
"You know, you should eat." Tang Moyu swatted away his hand. "Once the twins and Song Fengyan co here you wouldn't be able to eat anything."
The devil's eyes lidded as he looked at the woman beside him.
"Don't care. I'm craving for sothing else. Sothing more delicious." His tone turned a little lower than usual, his eyes staring at her lips.
"Behave. I don't think I need to remind you of this, right, Tianyi? We are in your mother's house." She hissed., her face flushed red at his indecent remark.
"But it's my house too." Feng Tianyi gasped. "And it's not my mother's business to know what we are doing." His grin made her itch to slap it away hard from his handso face.
"I don't care. Not here. Forget it and pull your mind out of the gutter for damn's sake." She insisted.
Feng Tianyi grinned, liking the way her usual poker face now had a hint of blush on it. He would make sure that he would be the only one who would be able to make her feel like this.
"So… you an to say once we are ho?" He questioned.
"No." The empress shot him down imdiately. "I didn't say that. Don't you dare put words in my mouth. That's ridiculous."
"Aww…" Feng Tianyi feigned his disappointnt. "And here I thought I wouldn't have to wait for too long." He leaned forward and nipped her earlobe, making Tang Moyu shriek.
