Wolfe watched Jack’s joyful expression as he went back to work, and his face imdiately changed.

Anyone with a brain cell who knew of Jack’s animosity could tell that Jack was up to no good.

The smile was too wide and his steps were too light for soone that seemingly couldn’t get his supposed revenge.

Sothing was wrong.

Wolfe began making calculations in his head, trying to decide the best move for him.

It did not take long to reach his conclusion.

Ratting out Jack in hopes of getting a reward.

Even if he got nothing, getting into the good books of his employers was more than good.

If he got into their good books, he could only imagine the benefits even if they were not imdiate.

He glanced around, making sure no one in the group knew what he was doing.

He wanted to report Jack, but he did not want the fact that he snitched to be known by more people than necessary.

He didn’t want a bad reputation as a snitch... It would terribly affect his future endeavours.

He walked over to Sir Roden and Lady Elda.

Like always, they were sparring.

Their stamina was simply alarming as they barely took any rest in between training.

If he had to guess, their bloodline that gave them wings was the reason.

’What could the grade of the bloodline be?’ Wolfe wondered to himself as he went over and stood to the side without interrupting them.

He simply waited on the side for them to notice him and they noticed him quickly.

"What?" Roden asked coldly.

His left blade parried Elda’s blade.

He raised his right sword, ready to attack and Elda retracted her sword to parry.

When their blade clashed Elda imdiately realised that the power behind the sword was so underwhelming.

She instantly knew she had lost the round as well.

Roden’s right sword attack was a feint.

She dropped her left hand just in ti for his leg to smash into her midsection.

The impact pushed her backward.

She stabilized herself quickly but did not attack imdiately.

Instead, she stood in place, waiting for Roden to attend to Wolfe.

"Sir, I wish to use the bathroom," Wolfe bowed.

The silence that followed stretched for what felt like years and Wolfe began to get uncomfortable.

"Go and get back as quickly as possible." Roden’s voice was cold. "If I find out you are trying to slack off, I will cut your pay."

"Yes, Sir."

Wolfe took off toward the camp.

He arrived quickly and made his way to the command tent.

As always, two of the weird guards stood at attention.

Unlike most people who mistook them for Level 2 because of their weird aura, Wolfe was certain they were Level 1s.

"Halt." Their chanical voices sounded in unison as their hands tightened on their weapons.

Wolfe stopped imdiately... He did not wish to be attacked by these... Beings.

"State your purpose," they continued once Wolfe stopped.

"I bring important information for Lady Talia," Wolfe answered.

"What do you have for ?"

Suddenly, Lady Talia was standing in front of him.

At this point, Wolfe had stopped being surprised by their speed.

At first, he could clearly see them move but not anymore... All he saw was a blur and according to what he could tell, they were all still Level 1s. Like him.

"Lady Talia. I ca to inform you about one of the drivers you selected," Wolfe began.

"Who would that be?" Talia asked calmly.

"Jack. He is the—" Wolfe was about to describe him when Talia cut him off.

"Get straight to the point. I know who all of you are by na, Mr. Wolfe."

Wolfe nodded. "I believe Jack is up to no good."

"Do you have any proof of that?" Talia asked, catching Wolfe off guard.

"Hmm... No, ma’am. But he ca to about robbing Sir Roden." He paused. "I believe he might have implied killing him."

"And when was this?" Talia asked.

"Two days ago."

"And why are you just reporting it now?" She raised an eyebrow.

Wolfe answered quickly. "At first, I did not think much of it because of the Level 3s around the camp but now I am no longer sure he would not do sothing stupid when he reaches town."

Talia thought for a few seconds.

"Hmm...Very well. Thank you for your information and your reward will be included in your wages once it is confird."

She paused.

"If you have more information like this, be sure to inform and you will be rewarded." She nodded. "You may leave."

"Yes, ma’am."

Wolfe bowed and rushed back to work.

Lily looked around her apartnt.

It had been days since she stepped foot her as she had spent most of her ti at the mansion.

’I am going to really miss this place,’ she thought as nostalgia washed over her.

It had been years since she began living here to get away from her uncle.

Now he was dead and she still did not know whether to feel relief or pain at his passing... Honestly, she could not tell if she cared.

She watched the n move her packed items into the off-road trucks downstairs.

According to Jensen’s plans, she would no longer be staying in the town for the foreseeable future.

So she had passed on her duties in the company to her second in command, the Chief Operating Officer.

He was an older gentleman who had served with her father.

Although she did not trust him completely, he was one of the most qualified.

Not to ntion, if he did sothing stupid, she was confident in her ability to crush him completely and she had made sure he understood.

"Miss Baker... you are moving out..." Mr. Tim asked rhetorically.

"Yes, Mr. Tim," Lily replied as her eyes drifted to him.

She saw his face drop.

"Does that an our deal is over?"

Lily did not answer quickly.

Mr. Tim had obviously gained benefits from their arrangent but he was also one of the most loyal people she had t.

He took his job very seriously.

Even though she paid for his children’s school fees, he had no reason except his duty to protect her when they first t Jensen.

But he did anyway.

He drew his gun against Jensen even though he knew he might lose his life.

That took guts and courage.

’I can recomnd him to Maria for recruitnt,’ Lily thought.

"Are you willing to quit your job here and co work for directly?" Lily asked.

"What..."

"More pay... You would not even need to depend on my extra handouts to send your children to a good school." Lily continued.

"And you have a higher career path. If you make an outstanding achievent, you have a chance to change your future."

"Miss... is this true? Are you serious?" Mr. Tim asked.

"Have I ever lied to you?"

Mr. Tim fell silent as he thought about it.

After a few seconds, he realized she had indeed never lied to him and never bothered to deceive him.

"What should I do?" Tim finally asked. He had made up his mind.

"Resign from your current job... I will cover any fees you have to pay for that." She paused. "Inform your wife and family that you will be gone for a while."

"Gone?"

"Yes... We are leaving for a site outside the town." She looked at him. "Do not worry. Safety is guaranteed."

Tim looked at Lily and after a mont, he nodded.

"You can drive, right?" she asked.

"Yes, miss."

"Good. We will be leaving in a few days. Get ready."
