She didn’t want to make him feel upset by showing any hint of dissent. To prevent any misinterpretation that he might think she didn’t have faith in him, she nodded and took a bite of the apple.
To her astonishnt, the apple didn’t taste like an apple at all. Instead, it had the flavors of grape and berry simultaneously.
"Look, Xiao Yueyue, this is a carrot, right? Let’s take a small bite; it’s absolutely delicious, not overly sweet," he revealed his pinky lips, taking a large bite out of the carrot. Whether by design or coincidence, orange juice dribbled down his lips, moistening his jelly-like pink lips and giving them a glossy sheen. It looked as if he had applied lip gloss, making them appear even more enticing.
For so inexplicable reason, his bunny ears perked up. His body was in a human form, yet he boasted a pair of bunny ears and large, expressive eyes. He looked decidedly otherworldly; any living creature witnessing him in this form would feel an urge to touch his head or take him into their embrace.
But the certain soone who had no ambiguous intentions brushed it off. She rely tilted her head, patiently awaiting him to finish his al, eager for answers.
Upon hearing that he wanted her to try the carrot, she bit into it with gusto, devouring most of it without a care for proper etiquette.
Tuzi AoFen’s lips twitched. He raised the white flag, fully surrendering to his apparent failure. He thought that she had beco more aware of n’s nature and intentions, but he realized he was mistaken. She showed no self-consciousness when with him!
Should he feel gratified that she trusted in his ’innocent nature’ or should he be disheartened that she perceived him as rely an adorable bunny, not as a genuine man?
"Fen Fen, why does your face look so odd now? Anyway, can you answer my question?" she waved her hand in front of him.
Tuzi AoFen: "....."
For many days, Shenlian Yingyue had been living in this manner with him. He provided her with food, resources to train, and consistently reassured her not to worry about the world outside. Ti and again, she attempted to inquire and uncover her whereabouts, but he never divulged any information. Instead, he always found distractions to divert her attention.
Fen Fen brought her nurous rare herbs because he knew her passion for alchemy. He gifted her an array of new books, aware of her love for reading and researching. He presented her with various exquisite flowers to collect, knowing her affinity for nature.
He supplied her with seeds from peculiar yet beautiful and beneficial trees and fruits. So fruits resembled peaches yet tasted sour, while others looked like apples but had a candy-like flavor—just sweet enough to be deliciously delightful.
He consistently gifted her luxurious silk garnts, trendy shoes, and elegant accessories. Although she never adorned herself with opulent or extravagant items like many others did, that didn’t deter him from bringing her the finest treasures imaginable.
Despite her uncertainties, he was always there for her, never leaving her side for too long. Even when he ventured out for just an hour, he returned, laden with an abundance of delightful items.
She attempted to escape the cottage, but in doing so, she found herself wandering deeper into the woods. Even everyone in the Ethereal Small World seed powerless to assist, as each effort to break free from the forest only left them more disoriented.
Without the guidance of the Spirit Bees, they could have easily descended into chaos, unaware of how to return to the safety of the cottage.
Shenlian Yingyue, Xiao Yun, Shenlian Yinzhu, Jun Mu Yang, Zhiyi, and the others explored various paths, splitting up in hopes of uncovering a way out and discovering why they were ensnared in this place.
Initially, they believed they were trapped in an illusionary realm, only to realize that this was indeed their reality. They suspected that Fen Fen had cast an enchantnt upon her to keep her bound, but soon learned there was no magic at play. It felt as if everything unfolded naturally, with only Tuzi AoFen possessing the ans to untangle them from this predicant.
Though there were so threats that lood in the environnt, they were swiftly dealt with. Mystical and formidable creatures erged to confront them, but these encounters seed more like an evaluation of her cultivation abilities than genuine dangers.
She gathered nurous valuable resources for both her advancent and sustenance, yet none provided insight into how to escape.
Fen Fen was aware she had access to the Ethereal Small World, where she could sustain herself without his offerings, but that never stopped him from bringing her an array of als sourced from the forest.
At tis, he brought her tender grilled at, and other tis, he’d present her with vibrant fruits and crisp vegetables, ensuring her diet remained varied and fresh.
On this day, as with many before it, she found herself seated before a pill cauldron in the cottage, having faced countless failures in her quest to discern her location. Surrounding her were nurous tos on alchemy, as she constantly devoted ti to perfecting her craft and researching the elixirs necessary to stabilize Fen Fen’s condition.
His troubling disease arose with each full moon, manifesting in violent bleeding. Yet, she was steadfast by his side, cradling him in her arms. He acted like a wounded creature seeking solace, regardless of whether he was in his beastly or human form. His only request was her companionship, and he would often drift into sleep while enveloped in her embrace.
On the contrary, he dedicated himself to fulfilling her every desire. There were monts when she questioned if she declared she wanted the stars, would he truly go to great lengths to retrieve them for her?
Perhaps it was sympathy for soone whose ti was running out that allowed the n to lower their guard and jealousy when she chose to spend a third of her ti with Tuzi AoFen.
She divided her ti equally: one-third with them, one-third devoted to her training, and the remaining third dedicated to understanding the intricacies of his poison better.
