"What happened here, Uncle Huang?" Shenlian Yingyue asked with a concerned tone as she looked at Huang Donghai, whose face seed to have aged overnight.

"Little Princess, I don’t want to hide anything from you. Apart from the two highnesses, you and the Little Prince (Shenlian Wanyan) are the only ones I trust," Huang Donghai sighed heavily as he sank into a chair, visibly exhausted.

Shenlian Yingyue listened quietly, waiting for him to finish while observing his troubled expression.

"Although she tries to hide it from , as a father, I know that sothing is wrong with my daughter. Ever since the day she returned to this domain, her personality has changed drastically. I understand she holds in her heart, but sothing seems to be preventing her from getting close to ." As he spoke, Huang Donghai covered his eyes, which were slightly reddened.

That day, his daughter had appeared under a different identity to save him and everyone in the Huang family.

Even though she concealed her true identity, he recognized her imdiately. No matter who she had beco, he would always see her as his daughter.

He didn’t care how powerful and remarkable she appeared in others’ eyes; to him, she was still his baby girl. It pained him to think of the hardships she had endured to reach her current state.

She had done everything for him, even though he had never asked her to.

What hurt him even more was that she refused to acknowledge him. After saving him, she had left and had not returned since. He hadn’t eaten, waiting desperately to see her and to ask how she had been over the past two years.

"She hasn’t returned ho with her real identity yet?" Shenlian Yingyue frowned, concerned.

"No, she hasn’t," Huang Donghai sighed again, his voice weak. Suddenly, he stood up and knelt before her. "Little Princess, I have sent people to look for her, but I haven’t been able to reach her. Please help find her; I will be forever grateful for your assistance. As long as she is safe, I can finally rest."

Huang Donghai was aware that the relationship between his daughter and the Little Princess had not been good. In the past, he had been unable to stop them from tornting each other, but now, he felt an instinctive belief that only the person in front of him could help.

"Uncle Huang, please stand up." Shenlian Yingyue was taken aback and quickly helped him to his feet.

"Little Princess, I know my request will delay your work, but please... I cannot let anything happen to my daughter." Huang Donghai’s voice trembled. His heart had been anything but calm these days; he had a gut feeling that sothing was wrong.

’A father’s love is as vast as the ocean.’

Suddenly, a thought intruded on her mind. Shenlian Yingyue began to miss her father. If he were here, would he go to any lengths for her, just as Uncle Huang did for Huang Bai Xing?

No, she would never doubt her father’s love for her and her brother. He was the best father in the world. Her calm heart had never raced like this before. She wanted to see her father soon, and she simply had to.

"Uncle Huang, don’t worry. I’ll find her and make sure she’s safe." Shenlian Yingyue’s response felt like a promise.

Upon hearing her words, Huang Donghai almost burst into tears.

"Xie Cai, your mission is to watch over my uncle’s well-being. You don’t have to follow ." After exiting Huang Donghai’s study, she called out to Xie Cai.

"Ensure he eats well and rests properly. I don’t want anything to happen to him before I find her." Shenlian Yingyue’s tone was more serious than it had ever been when addressing Xie Cai.

A cultivator at Huang Donghai’s level didn’t need to eat, but if he didn’t eat, sleep, and practice, his spirit wouldn’t be able to support him for long.

"I will," Xie Cai replied, his eyes betraying a hint of concern.

"Take this book. Practice diligently; only by becoming strong can you protect those you care about." She handed him a book and left quickly without waiting for a response.

Xie Cai looked at the book, his heart heavy. He couldn’t sense her presence nearby, and he clenched his fists. She was too kind to him, yet he felt he had done nothing for her in return.

"Master, that book is too precious to give to him." Xiao Yun, perched on her shoulder, tilted his head in confusion.

"It’s useless even if I keep it. Why not give it to soone who can use it? In doing so, Xie Cai will beco stronger, and he can accompany Uncle Huang to the Upper World." She smiled and rubbed Xiao Yun’s head.

Her divine sense imdiately expanded outward. Furrowing her brows, she noticed the absence of Huang Bai Xing’s presence.

"Ji Fulin, co out!" she called.

"Am I your servant?" Ji Fulin’s charming, mature face brimd with dissatisfaction.

"Where do you think Huang Bai Xing is now?" Ignoring his sulky deanor, she pressed on with her question.

"How do I know? I’m not her father!" Ji Fulin shrugged his shoulders.

Shenlian Yingyue’s lips twitched; this person was so unreliable.

"Don’t scold in your heart. Although she is my friend, her whereabouts are not my responsibility. How should I know where she went?" Ji Fulin rolled his eyes, entirely lacking the cool deanor expected from a prince of the Ji Clan.

"Do you need my help?" Dongfang Moqing suddenly appeared and startled her.

"You remind of soone," she thought, recalling Yuelan Rouxuan. That guy always seed to materialize behind her like a ghost. Rembering him made her miss Shenlian Wanyan, Helan Yuze, and the others.

Setting her concerns aside, she nodded at Dongfang Moqing.

"You know, I don’t deal in loss-making ventures," he remarked, lightly touching his glass and leaning against the tree. He didn’t et her gaze, instead calculating accounts with his abacus as usual.

"What do you want? I have plenty of spirit stones and treasures," she tilted her head, trying to gauge his intentions.

Dongfang Moqing and Ji Fulin exchanged looks, as if they thought her foolish.

Shenlian Yingyue’s ears turned slightly pink, and she scratched her head in embarrassnt upon realizing how foolish she sounded.

As the Young Lord of the Crimson Crane Pavilion, what could he possibly lack?

"I can help you, but only if you promise to give your heart to and be my wife." Dongfang Moqing’s expression remained impassive, as if he were rely discussing what to have for dinner.

Everyone stared at him in disbelief.

"Forget it!" Shenlian Yingyue sighed helplessly and waved her hand dismissively.

"If you need soone to teach you how to pursue a girl, just ask . But beware, my fees are quite steep," Ji Fulin smirked.

"Are you really better than at chasing girls?" Dongfang Moqing moved his glass and shot Ji Fulin a sidelong glance.

Ji Fulin was skeptical, "......"
