"Alright, Mom, I’m driving, I’ll hang up now!" said Ming Kai as he ended the call.
Seeing that her son actually dared to hang up on her, Mrs. Ming was furious and called back again, holding back her anger.
Ming Kai looked at the caller ID and intended to reject it, but he hesitated since it was his mother. He pulled over to the side of the road, picked up his phone, and answered, "Mom, what do you want?"
"I just asked if it was a male or female colleague. Is there sothing you can’t say? Or is there so secret between you?"
Ming Kai thought his mother’s questions were becoming increasingly absurd and was relieved not to be on speakerphone; otherwise, Qiu Zi would hear everything.
He sighed, "Mom, what do you want from ?"
