In the end, Bai Yiran still stood at the Bai Family’s doorstep. This house was bought by Bai Hongguang later on, and Bai Yiran had only been here once before, at the age of eighteen. That year, her grandmother fell seriously ill and needed surgery. Her uncle had spent all the money for the surgery but still needed more, so Bai Yiran had no choice but to ask her biological father, Bai Hongguang, for money. "Let’s go in!" Compared to Bai Yiran’s heaviness, Bai Qiantong seed particularly happy. If it weren’t for his limping, he wouldn’t look like he’d just been beaten.
Bai Qiantong knocked on the door, and Bai Yiran helped him walk inside. The interior was bright, large, and luxurious, with a family portrait hanging prominently in the center of the living room. Bai Yiran sneered inwardly. Even if her mother hadn’t passed away, Gu Manli would still be there, and so would Bai Qianyu and Bai Qiantong. She and her mother still wouldn’t be happy!
With this thought, Bai Yiran’s grip on Bai Qiantong’s arm tightened, causing him pain.
Bai Qiantong yelped, "Are you trying to strangle !"
Upon hearing Bai Qiantong’s cry, Gu Manli hurriedly ran down from the second floor. Seeing Bai Yiran grasping Bai Qiantong’s arm with an unpleasant expression, she rushed over and pushed Bai Yiran away.
"Bai Yiran! What are you doing!"

Bai Yiran inwardly cursed herself for being stupid. She didn’t want to stay here for another minute.
"What’s all the noise about! Don’t you know we have guests at ho?" An annoyed voice ca from the second floor. Bai Hongguang and a plump middle-aged man were standing upstairs, looking this way.
"Yiran? What are you doing here?" Bai Hongguang didn’t expect to see Bai Yiran at ho.
This was the first thing her biological father said upon seeing her...
Before coming here, Bai Yiran had a slight hope that maybe Bai Hongguang would treat her kindly, but reality gave Bai Yiran a harsh slap.
"I really shouldn’t have co..." Bai Yiran said coldly, wanting to turn and leave, but Bai Qiantong grabbed her.
"Are you leaving?"
Bai Yiran looked at Bai Qiantong, "What else? This isn’t my ho!" After speaking, Bai Yiran looked at Bai Hongguang on the second floor.
Bai Hongguang’s face darkened as he walked down. "We have guests today; why are you all arguing here?"
Gu Manli looked pitifully, "Hongguang! Qiantong was beaten..."
"What!" Bai Hongguang’s expression imdiately turned anxious, "Qiantong, how did you get beaten? Are you alright? Co over and let dad take a look!"
Bai Qiantong walked over to Bai Hongguang and spun around, "I’m fine. Just got hit a few tis, nothing serious."
Is this how father-son affection is shown?
Bai Yiran looked on coldly. She thought she was numb to such scenes by now, but it still wounded her deeply.
Everyone in the living room focused on Bai Qiantong, yet no one noticed a pair of eyes glowing green from the second floor, staring unblinkingly at Bai Yiran.
