Because ordinary tier-one residences were easy to build and used common materials found everywhere, the territory’s foundational construction progressed rapidly and the population kept expanding.

In just three days, the entire basin swelled with people. If the initial planning wasn’t well executed, who knows how congested and chaotic the traffic would have beco.

Luckily, having past experience in territory developnt spared Du You the possible flurry of chaos. The territory’s rapid growth, however, introduced nurous problems. Of course, the biggest issue wasn’t that, but rather the upgrade issue.

"We can’t stay here all day; gathering territory upgrade experience too slowly if we do," said one.

"What should we do then? Our territory’s strength is still too weak; rashly confronting the Giants would be hopeless," another retorted.

Calling it weak was just a euphemism; in reality, it wasn’t even about being strong or weak. The territory had only civilians and lacked even basic fortifications like walls and Arrow Towers; it had virtually no combat power.

Because of concerns over potential issues with the territory, Du You hadn’t even built the Skill Hall. Regardless, before reaching tier four, even if the Skill Hall were built, it wouldn’t help them evolve their skills.

"I just received word that a grand battle is about to take place at the Western Salt Lake; if we hurry, we can still make it to the first battle. If we play a significant role in this battle, then upgrading our territory afterward should be easier," soone reported.

After establishing the territory, as the lord, Du You’s increasing renown would also benefit the territory, allowing it to gain advancent experience which didn’t require others to know about his territory. Du You was currently hesitant to expose his territory too soon, as it was liable to create assorted problems.

"Let’s set off now then. With Earth’s Will shielding us and a few clever individuals managing the basic infrastructure here, we can leave it to them," they decided.

Du You shook his head, "No, I will go alone. You two must stay here to protect our territory. Also, you need to clear out those hidden Giant Tribes and Magical Beasts in the surrounding forests."

The two sisters couldn’t leave now, and Du You wouldn’t allow them to. Clearing the nearby forests was critical.

"Once our territory is open, we must ensure the rear passages are clear. Otherwise, it’ll waste a lot of our ti."

The sisters wanted to protest, but noticing Du You’s firm gaze, they ultimately, albeit reluctantly, nodded in agreent. They never opposed decisions Du You made regarding crucial matters.

"If that’s the case, then I’ll depart now. Take good care of our territory," Du You announced.

"Master, rest assured, as long as we are alive, the territory will be safe," they promised.

"Don’t talk nonsense. Even if sothing happens to the territory, you two must co back to ; you are far more important than the territory," Du You asserted.

Hearing this, warmth filled the sisters’ hearts, wondering how many people would treat their absolute followers so kindly. Absolute followers were essentially what others would call slaves.

Most lords probably couldn’t imagine anything more important than their territories.

After giving these instructions, Du You summoned Xiaozi and headed directly to the west. Even at Xiaozi’s speed, it would take a whole day to reach the Western Salt Lake. On the way, Du You also gathered intelligence about the situation at the Salt Lake.

After digging into the details, Du You learned that a large number of people were gathering at the Salt Lake. And the Giants on the other side were also accumulating. Initially, Professionals refrained from joining the battle for their safety, as no one wanted to rush to their deaths. But as more Professionals gathered, they grew even more cautious about charging forward.

Everyone ca here to scoop benefits, no one to give up their life, as they weren’t soldiers.

Dying in the Other World ant truly dead. And, the larger the scale of the battle, the higher the likelihood of dying. The backlines were urgently mobilizing territory soldiers, especially Warriors, to use their lives to shield the Professionals.

All academies operated this way, and Capital University was no exception.

Varieties of concerns caused both sides to simply persist in a deadlock. However, daily skirmishing continued. According to intelligence, Capital University planned to conquer this location to turn it into a transit station.

The Salt Lake held a special position, separated by a mountain range and from the east and west. Thus, Capital University chose this location first, avoiding a direct confrontation with the Giants, which now complicated the attack.

At the southwestern end of the mountain range, there was a huge gap next to a large inland lake, but it wasn’t a freshwater lake; it was the Salt Lake. Usually, the nearby Giants also garnered their salt from this spot.

Giants were poor at water combat, especially Fla Giants who greatly detested water, giving humans a terrain advantage. Many ships had already been built, prepared to join the battle at any mont.

Similarly, once this location was secured, defending it with the Salt Lake’s assistance would be easier.

This Salt Lake was situated next to the edge of the mountain range, providing an excellent defensive terrain. If not for the difficulty in obtaining territory slots, constructing a unique territory here would have likely yielded even better results.

In the academy’s plans, this location was a forefront position in the attack against the Fla Giants, a critical spot.

Of course, in Du You’s own plans, his territory was key, just not yet revealed. But that didn’t stop Du You from coming here to gain experience; such an opportunity was too good to miss.

At this mont, near the Salt Lake, students continued probing under the student council’s command, killing a large number of Fla Giants daily. Temporarily, there were no casualties on the students’ side, as the dead were either recruited soldiers from the territories or their Summoned Creatures. But given the ongoing intensity, casualties were just a matter of ti.

One day, as students still conducted their probing under the student council’s instructions, an unexpected event occurred.

"It’s bad news! The Fla Giants are launching an assault; they’re about to enter the trap zone," soone suddenly reported.

The trap zone was their frontline camp, re sight distance away. Several people imdiately exited the conference room and looked towards the distance. Far away, a mass of Giants was already charging towards them.

A few who lagged too far back to escape were instantly swept up in the deluge, without even the ti to depart this world.
