Just as Du You had previously had the Death Ape help dig a hole, the two sisters had also made preparations in advance.

If they directly retreated into the hole, the boarn would see them. So the sisters thought ahead and placed the coordinates for the space transitions inside the hole beforehand, and then destroyed the entrance from the outside.

They then did a little camouflage to make it undetectable by the enemy. Because the spatial transition used by the sisters did not consu much magic power, they could still use it even when they had only a little magic power left.

In a flash, the two of them appeared inside the hole, leaving the skeletons on the ground who had lost their command to continue resisting the attack of the boarn. And the crazed boarn did not even notice that two of their opponents were missing.

Perhaps in their simple-minded heads, they assud that these two individuals had been dealt with by their companions.

Because they were in a hole, digging through the firm ground was useless for the boarn.

Du You was hastening back at full speed, comforting the two sisters through the panel as he did so. By the ti Du You flew back on the Black Jade Griffin, he discovered that the battle below had essentially reached its end.

Less than five hundred skeletons were still resisting obstinately, but they wouldn’t be able to hold out much longer. Boarn surrounded them from all sides, furiously attacking the remaining skeletons.

Those at the front were trying to reach the skeletons, even if they couldn’t touch them, they were still trying to take a bone from the skeletons. So boarn in the back had even thrown their weapons just to attack the skeletons, they didn’t care even if they might hit their own people. This frenzied manner of fighting was, in a sense, quite effective.

Looking at the fake altar that he had set up, it was being attacked furiously by a gang of boarn.

At this point, the altar was unrecognisable, appearing like a pile of ruins. Yet, unsatisfied, the boarn continued their relentless attack and trampling. It seed as if they wouldn’t be appeased until it was reduced it to rubble.

"You arrived just in ti, now let’s wipe you all out in one go."

Du You aid the Dark Fla Arrow Array towards the ground. A massive wave of dark arrows fell from the sky. The boarn, caught up in their battle frenzy, had no idea what happened and saw their comrades drop like flies.

So boarn were knocked off their feet and had no idea what had transpired. Even though they’d been attacking their enemies with their comrades beside them, they weren’t aware of how they had suddenly ended up dead.

Du You waved his hand and released the Putrid Insect Mist. The boarn that had been killed or were on their last breaths imdiately beca food for the Carrion Dark Scarabs, from which they were born anew from feeding on the corpses.

Just after a short while, in combination with Du You’s magic, there were more and more Scarabs in their surrounding area. A few minutes later, the last skeleton was wiped out, and the boarn realized that sothing even more dangerous had erged.

The beetles fluttering around the sky were the most dangerous monsters of them all. Attempts to slash them had little to no effect. A beetle that had attached itself to a boarman would use its sharp mouth to tear through the skin of the boarman. The most alarming part was that they couldn’t feel any pain. They watched helplessly as a beetle burrowed into the wound before the excruciating pain set in.

But by this ti, it was already too late. By the ti they felt the pain, beetles had already multiplied inside their bodies. The boarn found that they could no longer control their bodies.

Lucky for them, the pain was only for a mont. Soon enough, they didn’t know what pain was anymore.

Du You descended and hurriedly summoned all his Summoned Beasts. The Death Ape imdiately dug open the ground and the sisters, thus released from their confinent, rejoiced over their escape.

"I was suffocating." Lin Yushi whined, while collapsing into Du You’s embrace.

"We’re still in battle. I’ll make it up to you tonight." Du You whispered into Lin Yushi’s ear, then gave Lin Yucha a passionate look, making both sisters blush.

After putting themselves back together, they gazed towards the surrounding boarn. "Master, have you set up everything? Will these boarn be eliminated in one go?" asked the sisters.

Pointing at the distance, Du You wore a victorious expression and said, "Of course! Do you see over there?" Far away the sky was growing darker. But it wasn’t a result of passing clouds, the sisters knew. It was the approaching swarm of Carrion Dark Scarabs.

Du You had not left previously for the sole purpose of escape, but to ensure that these boarn remained here.

Riding the Black Jade Griffin, Du You had bypassed the great boarman army and flown to several of their villages past their army lines. Once in the air, he released the Putrid Insect Mist before fleeing.

In and of itself, the Putrid Insect Mist was a minor threat, but it could not be easily annihilated. However, seeing that all able-bodied boarn had left the villages, especially the ones nearer, facilitated Du You’s operation.

Only elderly, frail, ill, and disabled boarn were left behind and they posed little resistance to the Putrid Insect Mist. They soon beca food, fertilizing the Putrid Insect Mist. Du You flew around, sprinkling it all around the vicinity. By the ti he returned, the places where he had first released the Putrid Insect Mist was teeming with Carrion Dark Scarabs.

Under Du You’s command, once the Carrion Dark Scarabs cleaned up the boarn and the ordinary beast monsters nearby, they rolled towards the great boarman army.

"This is surprisingly a spectacular sight. With this ability, we don’t need to fear any army," comnted the sisters.

Du You patted Lin Yushi’s head and said, "How is that possible? It’s just that boarn lack mages. If they had mages who cast wide-ranging magic spells, my Putrid Insect Mist wouldn’t have had such a big effect."

Du You knew there are many ways to combat his Putrid Insect Mist. While it might not appear to be the case, however, it did not an that there weren’t any. It would be a different story if there was resistive magic, but without it, the effect would be as devastating as it is now.

Countless Carrion Dark Scarabs surrounded the boarn completely from all sides. Once the boarn realized it, there wasn’t even a chance to retreat for them. It was akin to a cloud of impending disaster hanging over them, and once it broke open, there was no stopping it.

The boarn were bellowing and screaming in despair, so running aimlessly, so trying to charge out, and others, with crazed eyes, were rushing towards Du You and his group. Perhaps they thought that by killing him, they could eliminate these bugs.

In short, there was a multitude of reactions, but Du You wasn’t worried in the slightest.

Once the Carrion Dark Scarabs had reached this scale, if any boarn were to escape, he would consider himself a failure. As it turns out, the only reason he was able to set this trap was that after levelling up, his Carrion Dark Scarabs had increased in endurance. A short duration would have rendered this thod useless before the scarabs could even reach their targets.
