Without any delay, the trio set off imdiately upon receiving their next task. In fact, even if Du You was reluctant to move, the other two were constantly urging him to proceed.

Perhaps it was because they worried that with more ti, he would calm down and realize sothing was awry with the situation.

Du You didn’t feel like waiting either. He originally planned to undertake a suitable task today. Since these two believed that this mission had a chance of being completed, why wouldn’t he go for it? He had assessed their ranks, they were only at level 9.

Although their rank wasn’t weak, it was far inferior to Tier 2. If a fight really broke out, he might be able to easily trounce them alone. Such was the combat power of a high-ranked professional.

As they walked, Aelius was briefing him about the situation in Black Stone Canyon.

"The Black Stone Canyon is an angle ford by two black mountain ranges, there are many griffins living in it. However, there is a Sand People Patrol at the entrance of the valley. Our job is to divert these patrols and then enter the canyon."

"Really, why do they patrol here?"

"Haha, that’s because Black Stone Canyon leads directly into Fudi, a land of murder. They do not allow too many humans to enter. Sandpeople are not particularly good at construction, so they have no major cities or large fortresses, they can only rely on this thod"

No wonder. If they were normal humans, a strong defensive fortress would definitely be erected on the other side that could resist them. But Du You only half-believed what these two were saying.

"So what’s our plan? Given how familiar you two are with the area, you should have already thought of a plan."

Aelius laughed: "Haha, of course, we have. There are actually three entrances to the valley, and the Sand People Patrols are right behind these three entrances. If we make a slight commotion, we can scatter the Sandpeople by fleeing in three different directions."

"If anyone is chased, they should not look back, the other two will pass into the valley to fetch the griffin’s eggs."

"If so, if the Sandpeople chase , won’t I be unable to use my Summoned Beasts? How am I supposed to carry so many griffin eggs then?"

Morry also softly chid in, "Yeah, what to do then?"

Aelius responded impatiently, "Relax, there’s a particularly weak spot in the valley. It’s possible to deliver items from atop the mountain straight down. We humans are unable to pass through that gap, but griffin eggs can. When the ti cos, we’ll send the griffin eggs out from there."

"After we are out, we can directly go over, collect the goods, then leave."

To gain Du You’s trust, Aelius even deliberately pointed out the gap to him.

"Is there really such a place? Then what do we need him for?"

Aelius whispered, "Idiot, of course, there is that place, but it’s very dangerous. There’s a Tier 2 peak-level Magical Beast guarding it. If we really were to do it that way, we and the eggs would be gobbled up. I said it so he would believe us."

Du You suddenly realized, so that’s what was going on.

"Then how do we exit after we enter?"

"Exiting is easy, just run straight from the side path. Fudi is only guarded from the front. Clearance from the back is relatively weak, so if you run fast, you can escape."

"I see, that puts at ease." Du You expressed understanding.

Morry softly questioned, "Is that really the case, can we escape just like that?"

"Idiot, if you actually run like that, you’re as good as dead. Let him go first, if anyone dies, it will be him. We’ll exit from another side."

Morry had an enlightened look on his face, looking at Du You as if he were a fool. What he didn’t know was that Du You was also looking at them as though they were dead n walking. If they planned to use him to die, then let’s see who dies first.

Suddenly, Aelius said, "Let’s discuss the specific route first. There are three paths outside the valley. The middle one is the widest and also the easiest for the Sand People to pursue. I’m the fastest, so I’ll run from this side. You take the left, Morry, you go right, let’s see who has the best luck. I’m not good at long-distance fights, so it’s best if they chase ."

Morry humd, "Are you really going to lead the Sandpeople away, I thought the plan was to let him do it."

Morry also murmured softly, "Of course it’s him. When the ti cos, we’ll just slow down a bit, then hide. The middle path is the broadest, but not many people choose to run that way. They usually run towards the left, the Sandpeople are also used to chasing in that direction. Once he draws them all away, we’ll enter."

"Can he alone draw all of them away?"

"Of course, the Sand People patrol isn’t that big, and they fight without order, they always rush forward like a swarm, no need to worry, he alone is enough."

"Is it just a simple plan like this? Don’t we need to add anything else?" Du You asked carefully.

Aelius waved a big hand, "Sandpeople are so stupid, we don’t even need to try hard, they’ll swarm whoever they’re chasing regardless."

Du You nodded lightly. Coupled with what Aelius said earlier, this didn’t seem completely false.

The highest realm of lying, is to speak the truth, Du You felt like he was beginning to understand that.

Seeing Du You about to ask sothing again, Aelius worried about revealing more than necessary, so he quickly changed the subject, shifting the conversation to an introduction about White Stone City, "Alright, brother, you’ve just arrived at White Stone City, you’re not familiar with it yet. Let give you an introduction."

"That would be good, it prevents any potential trouble in case I offend soone."

So, the two quickly changed the subject. As for Morry, he seed unsociable, didn’t talk much. He was barely noticeable, only occasionally interjecting a sentence.

As the trio journeyed on, the ground around their path darkened. When they arrived at Black Stone Mountain, Du You found that the stones there were almost as dark as coal.

But they certainly weren’t coal, because the hardness of these rocks was excellent. If this place wasn’t so important to the Sandpeople, that they would swarm out like a disturbed wasp nest the mont it was touched, the Divine Fla Empire would have built a city here long ago.

When they arrived on the outskirts of Black Stone Canyon, one could vaguely see a huge foundational base of a human city. It seed to be the remains of an unfinished yet destroyed foundation, indicating that soone had tried to build a city in the past.
