"Hand over the culprit!"

The lead Machine God gazed down with cold, emotionless eyes.

Originally, they had intended for the God of War to seize an opportunity.

All the gods had prepared weapons and life-saving asures for him.

Even if surrounded by China’s heroic spirits, he could hold out long enough.

The God of War arrived in China, setting a trap for Naless, pulling him directly into the [True God’s Domain].

Once inside, the crippled Naless would surely be captured effortlessly.

Yet, against all expectations.

The God of War was instead slain by Naless, still trampled rcilessly underfoot!

By the ti they arrived at the scene, Qin Shi Huang and the King of Heroes were already present.

This made it easy to explain.

The combined might of three top-tier heroic spirits undoubtedly possessed god-slaying capabilities!

[Hades] looked down at the man shielded behind Qin Shi Huang: "The helt he wears is none other than [Hades’ Cap of Invisibility]!"

Inheriting the power of Hades allowed him to see through it at a glance.

"Oh, so this is the ans he’s been hiding all along?" [Zeus] found it utterly unimpressive.

Just an ordinary defensive divine construct, hardly worth noting.

Zeus’ gaze shifted to the blue-haired woman holding Naless: "And who is this?"

She was breathtakingly beautiful!

So perfect it defied description, radiating a sacred and pure beauty, like a teardrop crystallized from the sea.

Even [Zeus] was captivated by her boundless beauty at first sight.

Every feature and curve of her body was flawless, embodying humanity’s most extre ideals of beauty.

Even the [Goddess of Love and Beauty] would doubt herself in comparison.

At this mont, she held Naless gently, like a tender and loving mother, exuding infinite charm.

[Zeus] montarily desired nothing more than to seize her for himself.

"She’s not in the records!"

[Athena] answered gravely.

An anomaly.

She didn’t exist in any records, as if she had appeared out of thin air.

No matter how she scanned or analyzed, she could only confirm that this was an ordinary woman.

Yet.

How could an ordinary woman hold Naless and stand unfazed under the gods’ oppressive aura?

With tensions escalating, this unforeseen variable left her vaguely uneasy.

"But she’s so beautiful!" [Zeus] grew increasingly infatuated.

Gazing at her was like beholding the very essence of life’s truth, goodness, and beauty.

So beautiful it intoxicated the soul!

Under the intimidating presence of the gods’ projections.

Naless looked up at the towering Machine Gods: "Let handle this."

This was his ss to clean up; retreat was never an option.

The Council of Gods from the United States hadn’t descended in their true forms.

Instead, they had expended vast divine power to manifest as projections.

This is the so-called "showing off before mortals," a favorite trick of the gods.

Clearly, the gods of the United States were not fully prepared for all-out war.

They rely sought to force Qin Shi Huang to hand him over.

Tiamat gently brushed her fingers across his cheek, her smile growing even softer.

Throughout the long annals of human history, she had been unable to stand by his side in countless battles.

But this ti—

She was here!

"I..."

Naless opened his mouth, intending to say sothing more.

But a slender, pale finger lightly pressed against his lips, silencing his next words.

Then—

She turned and walked toward the gods of the United States, her deep blue hair brushing past his face.

The faintly sweet scent of her strands lingered at the tip of his nose, leaving Naless montarily dazed.

He had always been the one to protect others, fighting countless bloody battles for their sake. Never had he imagined that one day, he would be the one being protected.

How wonderful~

Under his gaze, the gentle, wise woman strode forward,

passing by the wary Qin Shi Huang and taking her place at the very front of all the heroic spirits.

For a mont, even Qin Shi Huang was taken aback.

Then, with a complicated expression, he clenched his fists tightly.

As the First Emperor of China, as the eternal sovereign who wielded the authority of human order, there was no reason for him to hide behind a mysterious woman.

Yet at this mont, Qin Shi Huang truly could not stop her.

He could clearly sense it—

This woman, always as gentle as water, was now furious.

The sa fury she had felt when betrayed by the gods!

The ocean—

Calm, it stretches endlessly without a ripple.

Enraged, it unleashes tsunamis that devour all!

Qin Shi Huang sighed softly in his heart. "I must say, my lord, you truly are a calamity!"

Even the Evils of Humanity had been chard by him, treating him as their closest companion.

The only consolation was that they seed to regard Naless as a child in need of pampering, rather than a man they wished to claim for themselves.

Given the noble and heroic nature of the lord, he surely wouldn’t want to rely on them, right?

A great hero like him wouldn’t stoop to being a suckling babe, would he?

The gods of the United States watched him with equal bewildernt.

The [King of Gods] gazed down imperiously. "Who exactly are you? Which Heroic Spirit from human history do you belong to?"

Earlier, the [Goddess of Wisdom] had exhausted all ans of deduction, yet she couldn’t trace his origins.

He was clearly a being born of Earth—how could this be possible?

He wasn’t so extraterrestrial visitor!

"Never mind, it doesn’t matter. This ti, you must hand over Naless. You’d best stand aside obediently!"

The [King of Gods] spoke in a tone of magnanimous concession.

After the setback with Attila the Hun, he had learned to be more cautious.

Until he fully inherited the power of the King of Gods, it was better to tread carefully.

Otherwise, he would have long since ordered an assault on the Epang Palace to capture Qin Shi Huang alive!

Tamamo-no-Mae, who had rushed to the scene in haste, looked at him with pity.

The disguise of the Primordial Mother Goddess was flawless.

Even though she knew the other’s true identity, she still couldn’t see through the deception.

Compared to this Evil of Humanity, her own disguises—and rlin’s—weren’t even fit to carry its shoes!

Truly worthy of an EX-rank [Self-Modification]—this was clearly a deliberate trap!

rlin, who had been slapped earlier, didn’t dare approach and had long since retreated into the [Tower at the End of the World].

That slap had hurt far too much!

It had nearly knocked her head clean off, as if it were a ball to be kicked.

Better to keep her distance.

Now that soone else was about to suffer even worse, rlin was more than happy to sit back and enjoy the show.

She had even prepared a bright red waterlon, scooping it up with a spoon as she watched.

The gods of the United States grew increasingly uneasy.

Under the pressure of divine might, the other showed not the slightest fear—proof that they were no ordinary being.

The problem was, no matter how they analyzed or scrutinized, they couldn’t discern their true identity.

They couldn’t even tell if they were a Heroic Spirit!

The [God of the Sea] couldn’t help but stare. "What kind of existence is this? Why do I feel... she’s even more adept at controlling the ocean than I am?"

As the wielder of the [Ocean] Authority, no one should surpass him in mastery over the sea’s laws!

"I can only vaguely perceive the concept of death upon her, as if she was once struck down by soone," the [God of the Underworld] mused, equally puzzled.

As the ruler of the [Underworld], he was far more capable than that unreliable goddess Ereshkigal.

Yet even with his full Authority, he could only faintly glimpse the mark of death upon her.

There was a starkly clear scar there, saturated with unimaginable terror and killing intent!

The [King of Gods] grew even more perplexed. "Why hasn’t she spoken a single word? Can she not speak?"

No matter how the gods debated, the other remained silent throughout.

The [Goddess of Wisdom] suddenly trembled. "She does not speak... because she deems us unworthy of her words!"
