Beowulf slowly stood up from a pile or rubble and burnt wood, laughing while stretching his arms and legs, he was back on his half werewolf state, realizing going full power wasn't even necessary.

"Phew! That was a pretty crazy spell! The hell was that?! Hahahahaha!"

He took out a big habanero cigar and started smoking it, putting his sunglasses back on, which were cracked.

"From what I could calculate, the combination of over a hundred different elental spells, seamlessly weaved together into a country-wiping spell."

The Great Ancestor was fine, her blinding light covering her entire body, she had never received any damage and only saw the show from the back.

"Demons are truly one of a kind!"

BAAAM!

And Clentine erged from the underground, shattering the earth apart using a giant fist made of blood energy, and stepping out, cleaning the dirt from her dress.

"I might never be able to conjure such a complex spell…"

She was also fine.

dea, who was looking from afar, noticing that Buer didn't seem satisfied with the results.

"A-As expected…! Your magic remains almighty, my master! I suppose summoning small fries is not necessary…"

"Spare that Mana for instead, dear dea… These foes you've found are quite the monsters."

"Y-You an…?!"

dea's eyes widened, realizing all three of them were actually alive, and on their way towards them.

"Dammit, are you kidding ?! You're Buer, the Lord of Knowledge! Do I have to call another Duke to get this done?"

"Hmph, you haven't even seen everything I can do yet… Yes they survived a powerful spell, but can they survive all of these?!"

Buer laughed, as he spread out all six of his giants, muscular arms.

Despite looking so huge and physically strong, he fought almost exclusively with magic alone.

As he spread his arms, his grimoires began floating in midair, rotating and rapidly releasing elental auras of their own.

FLUOOOSH!

"I will get serious now."

Buer smiled viciously, he was going to show these mortals the power of the seventeenth Great Demon Duke.

And why he reigned supre above magic within the Great Dukes, who mostly used brute force for everything!

"{Great Ancient Grimoire Magic}: {Abyssal Century}"

FLAAAASH!

Out of nowhere, an endless, abyssal darkness expanded everywhere across their surroundings. The skies turned black, the ground beca black, the air turned black, everything was pure darkness.

dea admired the level of magic, as she glanced into the distance.

Beowulf, Clentine, and the Great Ancestor found themselves each one within an endless darkness, unable to reach anywhere or hear one another.

"What? What with this magic?" Beowulf asked.

"It seems we've been isolated from the outside world…?" Clentine wondered.

"…" The Great Ancestor closed her eyes, she found there was no reason to have them open if she couldn't see anything.

And as this happened, the darkness rapidly began taking shape, into countless black hands with crimson eyes on them, slowly sneaking towards them and then…

"Ugh?!"

Beowulf groaned, noticing his entire body was being grabbed by hundreds of such hands, which were trying to drag him, down, to tear him to shreds.

"Hahahah! Is this it?! I thought it was fancier!"

Clentine noticed the hands grabbing her legs, as she quickly swung manifested a bubble of blood energy around her, leaving these hands unable to touch her.

"Hmph."

And the Great Ancestor's light couldn't be penetrated, the hands were hopeless.

BAAAM!

Beowulf hit the ground, the hands opened jaws, trying to devour his Mana and Divine Aura.

"Heheh! HAHAHA! That tickles, you bastard!"

However, he laughed, kicking the hands away as they exploded into pieces one by one.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

But no matter how many he killed; they ca back endlessly.

And then, more shadows appeared, Beowulf's own copy, hundreds of them started walking towards him.

"Huh, this is one strange spell…"

The sa was happening with Clentine and the Great Ancestor, as they found themselves fighting against dozens of their own clones made of abyssal shadows.

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

"Hmph, re fakes!"

Clentine easily crushed her clones, even though they showed many of her abilities, she easily took them out with kicks and punches.

"Do I even need to use magic?"

anwhile, the Great Ancestor sat cross-legged while floating in midair, her Aura transforming into a blossoming white and yellow lotus.

"…"

She was ditating calmly, as her clones burned to nothing once they touched her.

dea couldn't see much deeper than this endless darkness, it was as if Buer had created a dinsion.

"Buer, what is this spell? Did you trap them?"

"Abyssal Century, a spell created to trap a foe into a whole century inside of endless darkness. There's a ti dilation within this darkness, by now, they have spent several days inside."

"What? And they've been fighting endlessly?"

"Yes, eventually, after a hundred years of fighting, nobody can ever step out alive… Hahaha! A cruel spell, if I say so myself! It is-"

BOOOMMM!!!

"GAAGH?!"

"EEEH?!"

And yet, the massive, magnificent and indestructible spell suddenly exploded, as blinding light, golden flas, and crimson blood destroyed it all.

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!

The Abyssal Darkness, intangible and indestructible, was destroyed against all logic, as the entire world around Buer and dea trembled.

And the trio appeared… unscathed, as if nothing had ever happened to them!

"My Abyssal Century! It was dispelled?! How?! It had over a billion runes!"

"Only a billion?"

Suddenly, Clentine smoke amidst the black smoke dissipating, within her hands there were two small red spheres.

"Let show you real magic, demon."

"Real magic?! As if you could ever-"

"{Blood Dinsion}"

RUMBLE!

"NGH?!"

Out of nowhere, space and ti shattered apart, Buer and dea were sucked into an endless ocean of blood.

SPLAAASH!

"GAAAGH?! EH?! IMPOSSIBLE!"

"This level of magic…?!"

Buer was shaken! In disbelief! And dea was also rather shocked, in fact, both were panicking due to the suddenness of the situation.

"Pretty fine spell you had there, trapping for three whole days fighting shadows… but I had a lot of ti to think in there," Clentine smiled. "I think I've finally decided what to buy my dear daughter for her birthday."

"What nonsense are you even speaking of?!"

Buer grew furious his opponent wasn't taking him seriously.

His grimoires glowed, as he conjured a new, even stronger spell.

"I'll show you the power of the Lord of Knowledge!!!"
