The entire continent trembled, as the cracks spread further, and more beasts crawled from every nook and cranny they could. It felt like it was endless… But to Erald, or well, his alter ego, this was like he gift that kept on giving.
Completely uncaring about anything else going on, he decided to slaughter everything and beco stronger by doing so, abusing Drake's System while also devouring souls, the new power Erald has gained after becoming the vessel of the Spectral Demonic Legion.
By devouring souls, he can not only gain even more strength but rapidly hasten his own cultivation, reaching Rank 10 won't be a dream anymore as long as he devours as many souls as possible, and the souls in front of him were all delectable, ready to be harvested out of their useless bodies.
Erald's two halves glanced into the distance, his alter ego and his original personality analyzed the incoming army of monster, one was more afraid and nervous than the other, naturally.
"S-So many monsters…! There's not hundreds, there's thousands! And they're so strong as well…! Shouldn't we go ask for help first?"
"Don't be a coward, bastard! You know damn well we can take them down with our current power!"
"B-But that's… We don't really know for sure!"
"Shut up! It has already been decided. If you're so afraid, you can go back where you ca from and let take over fully! I wouldn't mind."
"I-I am not doing that!"
"Hmph, then shut up and watch. This is our true power, dumbass!"
With a vicious smile, Erald rushed forward, his Aura erupting with imnse power. Millions of demonic souls howled in unison as their demonic energy manifested and rged endlessly with Erald's winds.
Abyssal Winds and Infernal Flas rged, rapidly creating a massive black, fiery tornado out of the empty air, and firing it towards the army of monsters in front of him.
Most of these creatures resembled giant blazing spiders, so others looked like chiras with the bodies of lions, wolves, or tigers and many heads of different animals, so had the heads of insects, others of reptiles, and so of mammals.
However, they were all unified in their origins as they were covered by flas, or were partially made of magma, lava, or fiery stone.
Erald had no ti to care about their nas or their origins either way, he didn't give a damn about anything like that right now.
"{Infernal Abyssal Wind Magic}: {Hellish Tornado}!"
FLUOOOSH!
The tornado rampaged across countless divine monsters, despite being so strong and huge, the tornado was hundreds of tis the size of a normal one, encompassing hundreds of ters as it moved- no, perhaps several kiloters at the sa ti!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Countless explosions reverberated and spread everywhere, as the tornado passed through the area and the monsters, explosions of flas and abyssal darkness engulfed the beasts, making them beco shredded at in a matter of seconds.
"Hahaha! HAHAHAHA!"
Erald laughed viciously, as he continued conjuring his magic as more and more monsters tried to stop his rampage, giants made of stone and lava manifested, Volcano Elentals that were as tall as three to four hundred ters.
"GRUOOOHHH!"
They roared in unison, five of them surrounded him, swinging their gigantic arms at him and unleashing downpours of deadly lava and magma, trying to drown and burn Erald.
And yet he smiled, waving his sharp claws.
"Don't think I'm only good at magic, bastards!"
His claws grew four tis as long and resembled giant black blades, sothing he was unable to do before, or that perhaps Erald simply had no idea how to do to begin with.
SLAAASH! SLAAASH! SLAAASH! SLAAASH!
While encompassed by deadly Abyssal Winds and Infernal Flas, Erald cut through the giant Elentals with ease, slicing their massive bodies and then making them collapse.
BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
As they collapsed, he rapidly opened his large, sharp beak, absorbing dozens of souls coming from the corpses of both the monsters and even the Elentals.
"GULP."
He gulped the souls, feeling even stronger, his demonic powers further rging with the wind elent he was born with, and the special power he possessed.
"CO AT !"
As he roared, swarms of monsters attacked him, only to be flattened into fleshy pancakes by massive cannons of compressed wind pressure coming from the above the skies, constantly crushing everything that ca after him either way.

TRUUM! TRUUM! TRUUM! TRUUM!
The pressuring power crushed the monsters in masse, shaping the entire landscape as it shattered and flattened, whole mountains disappearing, the fiery forests gone, everything ended becoming a flatland wasteland!
"Hahahaha! So weak, you're all such weaklings! And you think you can go against ?! FOOLS!"
As he mocked the monsters, he saw hundreds of souls appearing everywhere, which he further absorbed and devoured, feeling even stronger!
"Hahaha… this power! Yes! Finally! More power!"
He felt his Divine Powers rapidly growing stronger, and even further his Demonic Powers. Erald has gained a new unique way to grow, one that might help him catch up with the likes of Drake and Surtr… or not.
It all depended on how he used it, and how much he abused this unique opportunity to his very limits.
And as this happened, he glanced into the distance, seeing Tyrannus and Ahia fighting.
"HAAAAAHH!"
Tyrannus roared like a mighty warrior, facing dozens of giant monsters at once, he swung his two axes against his foes, his War and Wind Auras rging with his equipnt's Demonic Wind powers, unleashing devastating cleaving waves that ford a literal tornado made up of attacks with his axe.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
Dozens of monsters, so even of Rank 9, were easily cleaved apart into pieces and dismbered rcilessly, exploding and splattering everywhere bloodily.
"Not bad, that old man's getting better at it…"
Then he noticed Ahia, whose grimoire and staff helped her magic reach new levels entirely, her Geomancy shaped the landscape, helping her manifest dozens of massive, hundreds of ter tall arms made of stone and lava, pulverizing her foes one after another.
BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM!
"Excellently done, Ahia…"
As he felt proud of their rapid growth and adaptability, he quickly glanced into the distance, the swarm of Rank 10 Snails was right around the corner.
"Ti for her to have so revenge…"
He smiled, enjoying the battles, without realizing sothing even more terrifying was moving underground, slowly making its way to the surface.
