Tyrannus looked into the distance, beginning to panic as he saw hundreds of more Divine Monsters approaching from the distance, among them there was a large swarm of the sa Rank 10 snails that almost killed Ahia.
Those monsters were overwhelmingly powerful, capable of easily defeating most gods that faced them. It wouldn't be an understatent to say they were "prehistoric relics" of ancient tis, when dragons and titans road the world and hunted monsters to sustain themselves.
Back then, these monsters, facing such powerful predators, had to rapidly adapt and beca increasingly more powerful. Most Rank 10 Monster belong to ancient lineages that have existed for millions of years after all and were the prey of ancient dragons and titans.
Now, realizing their natural predators no longer road this continent, they were beginning to get comfortable with the idea of taking over everywhere they wanted and eating as much as they desired.
"Hey, Erald! There's more monsters coming here…! Do you think we can take them on?!"
Tyrannus was worried, he had already fought so much and wasn't able to even defeat a Rank 10 monster. His limit seed at Rank 8 monsters, and perhaps only on one-on-one battles, anything where he was overwheld would end on his likely death.
The sa might be for Ahia, her Geomancy was strong but there were limits to what she could do. Unlike the rest of Drake's allies who had cultivated and been gods for much longer than them, and unlike Surtr's allies who possessed special Titles given by him that gave him a apart of his powers, Ahia and Tyrannus had none of such things.
Even though they were now Gods around Rank 8 and went through intense training of their Divinities with the help of the Ice Queen and the Fox Venerable, there were still limits to their powers and abilities that could only be overco through more cultivation, which required ti and resources.
"Are you seriously asking that, old man? Of course we can, stop acting like a coward!"
"O-Old man?! Coward?! Y-You've never treated in such a way before…!"
Out of nowhere, Erald treated Tyrannus like shit, making him utterly shocked.
"Wow, you're so cool, Erald! I've never seen you acting this brave…"
As Tyrannus tried to process he just heard, Ahia was in awe over his new "cool side".
He glanced at his own daughter in disbelief, unable to believe she was acting this way.
"A-Ahia?! Why are you rejoicing like that, he treated badly…! I'm your father! Shouldn't you be upset?"
"A-Ah! Eh?"
Ahia wasn't even paying attention to her old man, her big eyes were concentrated solely on Erald and only Erald.
"I-I'm very sorry! I didn't intend to say that it was my alter ego, he's very rowdy and doesn't hold back with his words…! I respect you very much, father-in-law, and…!"
"Tch, enough with bootlicking that useless old man already! We don't have the ti either, idiot."
As Erald was trying to apologize, his alter ego spoke and stopped him, quickly glaring at Tyrannus and Ahia, and placing them on the floor.
"W-We're not escaping, Erald?" Wondered Ahia.
"Of course not, we're fighting! Why wouldn't we fight? We're cleaning this entire damn place off these beasts. And it'll make you two grow very strong as well. After all, we have access to Drake's System right? You need to Level Up, I don't want weaklings by my side."
"W-Weaklings?! I've been training so hard to catch up with everyone, you know?! It hasn't even been a year since Drake and everyone else got here, before that we were only mortals!" Tyrannus kept complaining to Erald. "And what's gotten with your attitude?! I liked you when you were nicer!"
"I'm so sorry, father-in-law, I wasn't-"
"Shut your trap already, old fart! Now stand still, I'll give you more power, so use it well and don't you dare be a weakling anymore!"
He spread out his palms and released the power of his Abyssal Winds and Infernal Flas, rapidly combining them with the Celestial Heavenly Winds power to transform into divine tal.
FLUOSH!
And then, through their combination, he rapidly crystalized and outfitted both Ahia and Tyrannus with brand-new divine and demonic equipnt, nicely covering most of their body, made almost entirely out of the crystallization of these powerful energies, overflowing with imnse power.
The armors looked made of red crystal and black steel, with gold strikes here and there, it looked sharp and heavy, covering Ahia and Tyrannus bodies nicely and adapting to their body types. They even gained new weapons, Tyrannus obtained a giant pair of black and red axes, and Ahia a powerful staff to amplify her magic powers, alongside what resembled to be a grimoire, but made of crystals, even the pages were made of demonic crystals.
"A-Amazing! What's this?!" Ahia was shocked. "I feel so much stronger out of nowhere too! Armor? And weapons! So cool!"
"Incredible, the previous equipnt you made for us cannot even compare to this!" Tyrannus said. "And it is overflowing with demonic energy? But we're not being affected negatively either…"
"It has been forged by crystalizing my powers and also adding a few thousand demonic souls inside. So even if it breaks, it can regenerate on its own by eating monster souls. And of course, it can give you even more power by devouring more souls…"
"W-We made it specifically thinking about your safety, and also to boost your power and strength against these strong enemies we're about to face! With them, you should be several tis stronger, and even more as you Level Up and absorb Souls with your weapons…!"
"Now, I don't like being interrupted or annoyed while I hunt, so we're doing this on our own, all three of us are going in a different direction. I'm charging forward, Tyrannus, you go to the left, Ahia, to the right, you stay close to though."
"V-Very well then…! I'll have to trust your judgent, Erald… But I am still confused about what you have beco now…" Tyrannus sighed, preparing for battle.
"Okay, dear!" Ahia nodded with a cute smile, making even the ruthless alter ego felt embarrassed as he glanced at her smile. "I'll trust you!"
"H-Hmph… Then let's begin."
