The Director saw the woman and shouted, “This person is not a teacher at our kindergarten!”
As long as it wasn’t a teacher from their school, it wasn’t greatly related to their kindergarten.
Yet, just then, Chi Yue spoke icily, “Your kindergarten prides itself on tight security, yet you didn’t notice an outsider had infiltrated? Or are you saying that your security isn’t as good as advertised?”
The Director wiped his forehead nervously, “That’s not… that’s not what I ant.”
“If you can’t find my child within an hour, I will make your kindergarten’s inaction known to the nation.”
The Director’s face paled, but he had no rebuttal. Instead, he turned to the police for help, asking them to hurry and recover the child.
With the surveillance footage showing that Fu Mianmian had been taken away, the police quickly proceeded with their investigation.
Chi Yue could do nothing but fret.
“Don’t worry. I’ve also sent people to search. It’s only been half an hour since the incident; they’re definitely still in Nancheng. As long as they dare to leave the city, they will definitely be caught.”
Only upon hearing Chu Shuo’s voice did Chi Yue realize that Chu Shuo hadn’t left.

Chi Yue thought of Fu Rongyin; she dialed Fu Rongyin’s number, the phone indicated a busy signal.
Chu Shuo was also fiddling with his phone; she glanced over as Chu Shuo dialed Fu Rongyin’s number and put it on speakerphone, and surprisingly, the call went through.
