"Miss Greenwood!" Suddenly, a voice ca from behind.

Yolanda turned around and saw the grand entrance to the old house open, with the grandfather’s caregiver standing at the door.

"Miss Greenwood, Old Master Coldson is calling for you upstairs," the caregiver ca out, taking the painting Yolanda had brought.

Yolanda imdiately wiped away her tears and followed the caregiver inside, only to find lissa Greenwood already in the living room.

She ignored lissa, whispering to Isabella Ross, "I’ll go up and say a few words to Grandpa, I’ll leave soon after."

Old Master Coldson didn’t look good, his entire appearance seed exhausted, but upon seeing Yolanda, he imdiately forced a smile.

"Grandpa!" Yolanda approached him, distressed, "How have you been lately? Why does your complexion look so poor?"

"It’s nothing, I’m quite well," Old Master Coldson forced a smile, "Can your left hand paint now?"

"Yes." Yolanda nodded, "I’ve already started work."

She opened the painting she had brought to show Old Master Coldson, "Grandpa, does this look like your dream?"

Old Master Coldson’s eyes were filled with astonishnt, and he finally nodded vigorously, "Yes, our Yolanda has painted it beautifully, thank you Yolanda."

"No, Grandpa," Yolanda shook her head, "It’s I who should thank Grandpa. Without you, I would certainly have given up painting."

"Silly girl!" Old Master Coldson looked at Yolanda with affection.

They talked a lot, both tacitly avoiding the topic of Cooper Coldson and the divorce.

As it neared noon, lissa knocked on the door and entered, "It’s ti for Grandpa’s injection."

Seeing this, Yolanda quickly stood up to leave, "Grandpa, I’ll go back first. Take care of yourself..."

"Yolanda," surprisingly, lissa handed Yolanda the dicine box, "You help the caregiver, just hold the dicine for her, make sure not to mix up the injections."

"Oh, okay." Yolanda nodded, of course, she wanted to stay with Grandpa a little longer.

She asked the caregiver in detail what dication was needed, not expecting that Old Master Coldson needed several injections a day.

The caregiver first checked Old Master Coldson’s blood sugar and found it a bit high; she then reminded Yolanda, "Help get a bottle of insulin, one of the yellow ones."

"Okay." Yolanda nodded and turned around to see lissa still there, feeling a bit nervous.

The caregiver started quickly, and as soon as she was ready, Yolanda handed her the insulin.

After one injection was completed, Yolanda promptly handed over the second bottle of dication, and soon, the second injection was done as well.

Just as the caregiver was preparing to pack up, Yolanda suddenly noticed sothing was off with Old Master Coldson. Before she could speak out, it was lissa behind her who scread.

"Sothing’s wrong with Grandpa!" lissa pushed Yolanda aside, trying to get closer but knocking the dicine box over in the process.

She quickly knelt down to tidy up, "Caregiver, quickly check what’s wrong with Grandpa."

Yolanda was so frightened she turned pale, watching Old Master Coldson’s complexion turn ghastly, with no consciousness at all.

How could this be?

The caregiver quickly checked and imdiately said, "Old Master Coldson is in shock; we must get to the hospital right away."

She glanced at Yolanda, "The dication just now, you didn’t get it wrong, did you?"

Yolanda was bewildered, her entire mind was clouded; she had no recollection of fetching the dication just now.

She hesitated and answered, "I shouldn’t have."

"Let’s get to the hospital first." Sister Howard was also sweating profusely, obviously in a dire situation.

Soon, soone ca and carried Old Master Coldson away, turning the entire old residence into chaos. Isabella Ross, lissa Greenwood, and the nurse all got into the car, ready to head to the hospital together.

"Yolanda!" lissa Greenwood suddenly called to her, "Get in, let’s go to the hospital together."

Yolanda Greenwood, completely bewildered, got into the car and even said to lissa, "Thank you."

But she noticed that lissa curled her lip slightly as if she was quite pleased with herself.

In the car, Isabella Ross kept confirming whether the injection had been administered correctly.

"There shouldn’t be any mistakes." The nurse’s hands were clasped tightly together, entirely drenched with sweat.

Because she had a vague guess, but she dared not believe it.

Isabella Ross didn’t say anything more, and in the end, glanced at Yolanda Greenwood and cursed under her breath, "Nothing good ever happens when you show up."

They quickly arrived at the hospital, and Old Master Coldson was imdiately taken into the ergency room.

Everyone waited anxiously outside, with lissa Greenwood comforting Isabella Ross. The nurse stood to the side, her face pallid, while Yolanda Greenwood inexplicably felt a chill throughout her body.

"Aunt Ross, don’t worry too much. Old Master Coldson won’t be in any trouble," lissa whispered comfortingly.

Isabella Ross didn’t speak, just quietly shedding tears. To her, Old Master Coldson was like a father, and she was genuinely very upset.

"It’s strange, when I brought over the dicine box earlier, everything was fine," lissa said with a puzzled expression. "I’ll go ask Sister Howard."

Monny Howard was the nurse that the Coldson Family had specifically hired to care for Old Master Coldson.

"You go," Isabella Ross said weakly.

lissa Greenwood took Monny Howard out to the hallway, "What do you think happened with Old Master Coldson just now?"

Monny Howard, in her thirties, was an experienced nurse. She had been responsible for looking after Old Master Coldson during his first hospital stay.

Therefore, after Old Master Coldson was discharged, Cooper Coldson offered her a high salary to continue caring for him at ho.

Monny Howard had taken care of Old Master Coldson for several years, and their bond was deep, "It’s possible... it might have been the wrong dication."

According to Old Master Coldson’s symptoms, it might have been an overdose of insulin.

She quickly added, "But I checked his blood sugar before administering the dication. There shouldn’t have been a problem."

lissa Greenwood didn’t respond but instead said coldly, "You’ve been with the Coldson family for many years, you know how much Aunt Ross and Cooper care about Grandpa."

"Of course I know," Monny Howard wiped the sweat from her forehead, "I truly didn’t do it on purpose."

"Do you think they’ll listen to your explanation?" lissa Greenwood shook her head, "If the fault is indeed yours, I’m afraid..."

I’m afraid Cooper would ruin her life.

Monny Howard beca even more frightened and knelt down almost without hesitation, "Miss Greenwood, you know, I would never want to harm Old Master Coldson. I really did check his blood sugar, Yolanda was there, she saw it."

"At the ti, it was Yolanda who handed you the dication," lissa Greenwood said seemingly casually.

Monny Howard hesitantly nodded, "Yes, I told her, one bottle of insulin, one bottle of the blue dication."

"Did she hand you the right ones?" lissa Greenwood asked again, "I might have accidentally knocked over the dicine box later, and I reckon no one has tidied it yet, do you even know how many dications you had in there?"

Monny Howard didn’t say anything; by this ti, she had pretty much grasped what lissa Greenwood ant.

During her days at the Coldson family, she had also noticed the undercurrents between lissa Greenwood, Isabella Ross, and Yolanda Greenwood, but she never expected to get dragged into it.

lissa Greenwood didn’t press her any further but reached out to help her up, "Sister Howard, the test results will co out soon, and Cooper is already on his way. You’d better think about what you’re going to say later."
