Yolanda Greenwood shook her head and gave a bitter smile, "Perhaps in the face of life, we’re all deserters."

Serena Seward wasn’t surprised; she had already guessed it, "Is it because of Adam Sterling?"

"Nothing escapes the teacher." Yolanda tugged at the corners of her mouth, "If I was eager to regain my mories before, then after knowing Adam Sterling’s fears, I thought, wouldn’t it be nice if Adam could forget it all?"

She sighed softly, "In the end, Adam Sterling is still very courageous. His brain didn’t let him forget those things, and he got through it all, but what about ?"

Yolanda always rembered Adam Sterling once said that her brain made her forget the past because it might be that if she regained those mories, she wouldn’t survive.

Adam Sterling said it’s a protective chanism of the brain.

"Just let nature take its course." Yolanda tugged at the corners of her mouth, "I believe at the right ti, I’ll rember everything."

"Alright, since you’ve decided, I respect your choice." Serena Seward didn’t say much more, but she believed Yolanda was braver than she thought.

Three days later, Serena Seward and Adam Sterling left together, with Yolanda, Cooper Coldson, Lola Gold, and Noah Coldson seeing them off.

Noah Coldson specially took leave from the military. He knew everything that had happened and felt a bit apologetic towards Adam Sterling, not realizing those anomalies were due to illness.

"You brat, call when you have the ti. If I ever visit there, I’ll contact you." He tightly hugged his best comrade, giving Adam Sterling a firm pat on the back, "Previously, it was my brotherly mistake of blaming you."

"It’s good to realize the mistake; anyway, count it as sothing you owe , and I’ll collect on that in the future." Adam Sterling said with a smile.

"Professor Seward, Adam Sterling, safe travels; once you’re there, take good care of yourselves, and call when you have the ti." Yolanda hesitated for a mont but stepped forward to hug Serena Seward and Adam Sterling.

"Goodbye!" Serena Seward said softly.

Adam Sterling also gently hugged Yolanda, "Be happy! Take good care of yourself and Ella!"

"Alright, alright, I won’t hug anymore." Lola Gold rarely got teary-eyed as she tapped Adam Sterling’s chest, "Take care in the future, and don’t worry anyone."

"Good buddy!" Adam Sterling ruffled Lola Gold’s hair, deeply grateful for her constant trust and support. Without Lola Gold, his situation might have been worse off.

After the farewell, everyone watched Serena Seward and Adam Sterling pass through security, disappearing at the end of their vision.

"It’s good; it’s good that he’s leaving. That kid seems reborn." Lola Gold exhaled a long breath, "That’s good."

She sniffed and looked at the others, "Where are you going?"

"I’ve got to head back to the camp." Noah Coldson said first, "I only took a two-hour leave."

"Then go quickly." Yolanda waved her hand.

"Alright, I’m leaving then, give a call when you need anything." Noah Coldson looked at Cooper Coldson, "Take good care of Isabella, bye!"

Cooper Coldson shook his head helplessly.

Only three of them were left, and they walked out together.

"I’m planning to move." Yolanda said with a smile.

"Why?" Cooper Coldson seed anxious, "Yolanda, the house would just remain vacant, and if you and Ella..."

"The house is too big." Yolanda had a slightly helpless smile, "It was fine with Adam here, but with just and Ella, it’s really uncomfortable."

She smiled as she looked at Cooper Coldson, "Don’t worry, Daisy Dawson has already apologized by helping find a really nice house, and I’m moving in a few days."

"But..." Cooper Coldson still wanted to persuade her.

"That’s settled then. When I move, I’ll call you and Ella to help." Yolanda interrupted him, showing her determination.

"Alright then." Cooper Coldson could only agree, and with Yolanda and Little Ella still around, he was actually quite content and dared not hope for more.

"Alright then, President Coldson," Lola Gold wrapped an arm around Yolanda’s shoulders, "you just go back and focus on your recovery, and I’ll take Isla back."

Yolanda nodded at Cooper Coldson.

"Alright, then... rember to call when you’re moving." Cooper Coldson reluctantly left.

Lola Gold tutted twice, "Why call him? Just a patient, what’s he capable of doing?"

Yolanda chuckled, "If I hadn’t said it like that, do you think he’d easily agree to moving out?"

Lola Gold looked at Yolanda without saying a word.

"What’s wrong?" Yolanda touched her face, "Is there sothing strange on my face?"

"Yes! The stuff in your head is what’s strange," Lola Gold touched her chin, "Be honest, are you and Cooper Coldson getting back together?"

"How is that possible?" Yolanda shook her head.

"But your behavior just now was quite odd," Lola Gold wouldn’t let go, "tell , are you falling for that Coldson again?"

"Maybe." Yolanda gave a bitter smile; in recent days, she had thought carefully about the matter. It seed that unconsciously, she really started to care about Cooper Coldson.

But was this caring infatuation? Was it love? She wasn’t sure.

She looked at Lola Gold’s frustrated expression and said helplessly, "Didn’t you also say that so things are just destiny?"

"Yolanda!" Lola Gold caught up with her in a few steps, "You cannot just accept fate!"

Yolanda smiled and asked her, "Do you hate Cooper Coldson that much?"

Lola Gold nodded without hesitation, "I do! He hurt you so badly before, how could I not hate him? I hate him to death."

"Hmm, looks like he was really over the line." Yolanda shrugged, "Perhaps when I recover my mories, I’ll hate him even more than you."

"Definitely!" Lola Gold was still indignant.

"Alright, and it’s not like anything is happening between us, right?" Yolanda laughed with a bit of frustration, "Let’s go, I’m treating you to a big al."

"What are your intentions?" Lola Gold’s voice rose several octaves, "If sothing happens, it’ll be too late, alright? Anyways, it’s your business, saying anything more is useless, just be cautious and extra cautious!"

"Got it, got it."

In the evening, Yolanda picked up Little Ella and brought her ho.

The little one sat in the living room, looking at the many packed boxes Yolanda had prepared. Adam Sterling was also gone, so she couldn’t help but pout, "Mom, did Dad abandon us?"

"How could he?" Yolanda laughed and sat beside her, "Dad went on a mission, and he’ll co back as soon as it’s done."

"So why are we moving?" Little Ella actually liked this place—so big and beautiful.

"This house is too big, and Mom doesn’t have enough money to pay the rent," Yolanda intentionally made a troubled face, "Unless Ella has money?"

"Uncle Coldson does, Uncle Coldson said he has as much money as you want." The little girl said excitedly.

Yolanda imdiately put on a stern face, "Ella, Mom warns you, you can accept Uncle Coldson’s gifts, but never take his money, understood?"

"Oh!" The little one obediently nodded.
