Yolanda tugged at the corners of her mouth and asked a few more details before saying goodbye to Ivy Hall.

"Dr. Hall, thank you. We’ll be taking off now," Yolanda said cautiously, helping Lola Gold to her feet.

"I’m fine," Lola stood up, her soul seemingly drifting as she followed Yolanda out of Dr. Hall’s office and stopped by the wall.

"Lola?" Yolanda called out worriedly, "Shall we go back and discuss it further? Maybe that would be better?"

She saw that Lola looked extrely pale, fearing she might do sothing rash.

Sure enough, Lola suddenly looked at Yolanda. "Yolanda, I want to get an abortion."

"Lola, don’t rush into a decision," Yolanda grabbed Lola’s hand. "An abortion can seriously harm your body. The baby is still small, and you have ti to think it over."

Lola was shaking all over. "Yolanda, I don’t want to think about it anymore. I don’t want to be entangled with Christopher Coldson because of this child for the rest of my life. I don’t want him to find out about the child and then expect sothing from . I don’t want this!"

Her emotions were visibly intense at the mont.

"Lola, listen to ," Yolanda didn’t want Lola to make a decision in this state, "Let’s go back. No one will know about the baby if you don’t tell, and I don’t tell. Christopher won’t find out either."

Lola didn’t speak; she was truly panic-stricken, tears falling unconsciously.

Yolanda wiped her tears, "Let’s head back and think it over. Listen to , okay?"

"Okay," Lola nodded; she knew she wasn’t calm. Just thinking that there was a life inside her, and her future tied to this life, terrified her.

"Let’s go ho," Yolanda said as she gently supported Lola, and they started walking out.

However, what neither of them expected was to encounter Christopher Coldson and Randy Carter at the door.

At that mont, Christopher was tenderly caring for Randy.

Both parties were clearly surprised as they made eye contact.

Christopher noticed that Lola was holding a piece of paper and instinctively leaned forward to take a look.

Seeing this, Yolanda naturally took the report, folded it, and slotted it into her bag, "Let’s go, Lola. Thanks for joining today, even though we saw soone we didn’t want to see."

Lola shifted her gaze from Christopher and forced a smile, "It’s fine, let’s go."

The two stiffened their backs, eyes forward, walking past Christopher.

"Christopher, let’s go," Randy sweetly cooed, "Don’t keep the doctor waiting."

"Wait for a mont," Christopher suddenly left Randy and rushed to catch up with Yolanda and Lola. Looking at Lola, he asked, "Why do you look so unwell? Are you feeling okay?"

Lola let out a snort of laughter, "Sir, are we familiar? What does my health have to do with you?"

"Lola!" Christopher lowered his voice, "Give so ti. If I find out the child isn’t mine, I’ll still be with you."

"Christopher, are you joking?" Lola scoffed. "What makes you think I’d wait for you? I told you, ever since I left the mansion that night, we’ve had nothing to do with each other."

After saying this, Lola walked briskly forward.

Christopher wanted to follow but was stopped by Yolanda.

"Christopher," Yolanda spoke, glancing at Randy not too far away, "Before the child is born, a DNA test can be done. Don’t let yourself be played."

"Of course, I know," Christopher replied, a hint of irritation in his eyes. "But that would cause significant harm to the baby and the mother."

Yolanda was stunned, about to say sothing when she heard Randy calling for Christopher.

"Christopher, co quickly, I don’t feel well, accompany inside," Randy’s voice was boneless and just as annoying as when Yolanda first t her.

"Take care of Lola," Christopher dropped these words and ran off.

Yolanda felt a rage in her liver, utterly baffled by Christopher’s behavior. Was it just because Randy was pregnant?

It was unbelievable, completely unlike the Christopher she knew.

At that mont, Lola had already gotten into a taxi and through the window, she saw Christopher rushing back to support Randy.

She lowered her head, the sourness in her chest quickly spreading through her body.

Yolanda soon got into the car, "That guy... It’s as if his brain got squeezed by a door."

It was rare to hear her swear at soone, and it amused Lola.

"I’m serious," Yolanda said earnestly, "could soone have cursed him? It’s just so unlike him."

Lola looked back again; that silhouette indeed did not resemble Christopher.

The two didn’t speak further and went ho together.

Lola ntioned she was tired and wanted to go to her room to rest.

Yolanda grabbed her hand, "Lola, promise that you’ll seriously consider the matter with the baby and you won’t act impulsively."

"Don’t worry," Lola tugged at the corners of her mouth, "I’ve cald down now and will think it over."

Later that afternoon, Yolanda received a call from Noah Coldson, who had just returned.

"Tonight, I’ll be coming for dinner with Adam Sterling," Noah’s voice was filled with excitent.

Yolanda opened her mouth, wanting to say she had failed in her marriage again, but eventually, she simply responded lightly, "Alright, what would you like to eat? I’ll prepare sothing."

"No need to bother, Adam and I have already bought everything," Noah was as considerate as ever.

Yolanda didn’t insist, knowing her culinary skills were nothing to brag about, "Okay."

After hanging up, she sat on the couch and dozed off. In the evening, she was awakened by a knock at the door.

Startled, she saw Lola coming out of her room.

"I’ll get the door." After a few steps, Lola turned back to remind Yolanda, "By the way, don’t ntion that I’m pregnant yet."

Yolanda imdiately nodded, "Don’t worry, I know."

Lola quickly adjusted her mood and opened the door with an exaggerated welco, "Oh my, the big hero is back, co in."

Adam’s gaze swept over Lola’s face, his brow furrowing in confusion.

Noah, apparently oblivious, entered with bags in tow, heading straight for Yolanda, "I’m here."

Lola slapped Adam on the back, "See? A man who forgets his friends at the sight of a woman, he’s hopeless."

"He’s been hopeless," Adam responded nonchalantly, looking at Lola, "But you seem a bit off."

"What’s wrong with ?" Lola, knowing she couldn’t hide anything from Adam, quickly brushed it off, "Have I gotten prettier?"

"Yes, Beauty Gold," Adam played along, knowing he and Noah had co prepared for sothing more important.

"Why did you buy so much stuff?" Yolanda stood up, "You look thinner."

"Really?" Noah touched his face.

Lola teased from the side, "See, thinking of soone can indeed help you lose weight, hahaha..."
