Cooper Coldson’s chest heaved violently with anger. He felt as though he was especially stupid, and everything he had done seed ridiculous to him.

He stared at Yolanda Greenwood’s retreating figure and hissed venomously, "She thinks too much."

Then, he turned around and strode forward.

lissa Greenwood quickly followed him, sensibly not saying another word.

She knew Cooper had been moved, but for the sake of pride, or perhaps because he wasn’t that in love, Cooper wouldn’t admit it in the near future.

This might be her last chance.

Yolanda accompanied Lola Gold to the obstetrics and gynecology departnt and went straight to Dr. Hall.

"You go ahead. I’ll wait for you outside," Yolanda said, squeezing Lola’s hand firmly. "Don’t be nervous."

Lola nodded and entered first.

Dr. Hall, seeing that Yolanda looked good, smiled and said, "It hasn’t been easy, but you made it through. In another two months, you’ll give birth. You really hung in there."

She had been responsible for both Yolanda and the baby in her belly and knew that Yolanda’s journey hadn’t been easy, so she genuinely felt happy for her.

"I am truly grateful to Dr. Hall," Yolanda said with a grateful face. "If we were able to hold on until today, it’s largely thanks to you, Dr. Hall."

How many tis had Yolanda faced the threat of a miscarriage, only for Dr. Hall to pull her and her baby back from the brink?

However, Dr. Hall shook her head with a smile, "I can’t take all that credit. You should thank Noah Coldson. He went to great lengths for you and the baby..."

Dr. Hall stopped abruptly, as if she had rembered sothing, then continued, "Yolanda, I’m an outsider, and it’s not my place to ddle in emotional matters, but as soone who has been through it, and as a woman and a mother, I feel compelled to say this."

"Please, Dr. Hall, go ahead," Yolanda urged, not minding at all. In her heart, she really regarded Dr. Hall like an older sister.

"If possible, don’t let go of Noah." Dr. Hall patted Yolanda’s shoulder and then turned to enter the sickroom.

Yolanda let out a low laugh. Almost everyone around her held the sa attitude: don’t miss out on Noah, definitely hold onto him.

Of course, she knew Noah was a once-in-a-lifeti good man, but was she deserving?

After one terribly failed marriage, could she still be a qualified wife and lover?

Yolanda didn’t know.

She wanted to sit down for a while, but suddenly she saw a foreigner hurry out of an office.

"Hello," Yolanda said tentatively as she approached. "Are you the fertility specialist from the US?"

The man nodded, "Hello. Are you a friend of Mr. Coldson? Otherwise, how would you know ?"

It was indeed that person.

"Hello, I’m a friend of Cooper Coldson." As a wife who hadn’t yet filed for divorce, Yolanda reasoned that saying she was her husband’s friend wasn’t really lying.

The specialist seed genuinely pleased and wasn’t at all guarded around Yolanda.

"Did you perform a checkup on lissa Greenwood this morning?" Yolanda tried to fish for information.

"Yes," the specialist frowned slightly, puzzled. "Do you know Miss Greenwood too?"

"Yes, she is my cousin," Yolanda replied, not lying this ti either.

The specialist ward to her even more, chatting away. Between the lines, he suggested that there was nothing wrong with lissa’s fertility. Although she had already given birth to one child, she could certainly have more.

Yolanda was mildly surprised and couldn’t help saying, "But just now, you told Mr. Coldson sothing quite different."

The specialist grew even more puzzled, "Isn’t that what Miss Greenwood’s family wanted? I was just respecting your wishes and lying for you. Is there a problem?"

Indeed.

"Of course there’s no problem," Yolanda smiled. "I’m curious, though. What exactly did my family tell you?"

"They said that Miss Greenwood had already had one child and that she really couldn’t bear the pain of childbirth, so she wasn’t planning to have any more. However..." the specialist’s expression grew serious, "her future husband, Mr. Coldson from the Coldson Family, would never allow her not to have more children, so I needed to tell a lie."

The expert’s tone was quite exaggerated, "As a fertility specialist, I greatly respect a woman’s desire to reproduce and am aware that childbirth is one of the most dangerous things in the world, so I will do whatever I can to help you. Don’t worry, I won’t tell Mr. Coldson anything."

He laughed again at the end, "Even though he’s the one who hired ."

So that was the situation.

In that mont, Yolanda actually felt a bit of sympathy for Cooper.

She asked the specialist, "Did Miss Greenwood tell you this herself?"

"No, it wasn’t her. Another lady, Miss Greenwood’s cousin, found last night." The expert lowered his voice, "She also reminded that Mr. Coldson must not find out about this."

Another woman?

Yolanda was curious to know who that could be, as this person who was able to et with the expert was clearly not just anybody.

At that mont, the door behind her opened, and Lola Gold walked out.

The expert saw Lola and imdiately pointed out, "Yes, that’s her. But last night she was wearing sunglasses and dressed very extravagantly."

Yolanda instantly knew who it was, "Alright, I understand. I won’t take up more of your ti. Goodbye."

"Goodbye!" The expert waved cheerfully. "Best wishes for a smooth delivery of your baby."

Once he was gone, Lola asked curiously, "Who was that? Do you know him?"

"He’s the specialist who did the fertility check for lissa Greenwood this morning." Yolanda offered a wry smile, "Guess who asked him to help lissa?"

Lola looked resigned, "He just said it was , so it must have been Sunny Coldson, right?"

The two exchanged a knowing smile; after all, the expert was a foreigner with limited ability to differentiate Chinese faces, and Lola and Sunny did look alike; to the foreigner, they were nearly the sa person.

"Sunny Coldson still has the energy to ddle," Lola said, clearly distracted and uninterested in the matter.

Yolanda twisted her mouth, "Have you finished giving blood?"

"Yes," Lola nodded, "They said the results would be out in two hours."

"Want to go for a walk, or just sit here and wait?"

Lola thought for a mont, "Let’s sit for a bit. You need a good rest too."

"Alright." In fact, sitting for long periods wasn’t comfortable for Yolanda in her late pregnancy, but Lola didn’t know that, and Yolanda wasn’t one to make a fuss.

She sat with Lola for a while before getting up to walk around.

Yolanda felt that Sunny wasn’t the type to poke her nose into other people’s business. There must be so reason Sunny would help lissa.

She didn’t know what sort of scheming went on between the two of them.

After all that had transpired, it was clear that lissa and Sunny were cut from the sa cloth, both willing to do anything for their goals.

This, Yolanda thought, was sothing to keep an eye on.

Two hours passed quickly, and Yolanda accompanied Lola to see Dr. Hall for the results.

"Miss Gold, congratulations. You’re pregnant," Dr. Hall announced with a smile, handing over the test report. "You’re three and a half weeks along. You need to be careful now."

The color drained from Lola’s face with the report in her hand, visibly trembling.

Dr. Hall sensed sothing was wrong and instinctively looked to Yolanda.
