Cooper Coldson was taken aback, completely unexpected that a little one would answer the door.

He subconsciously thought he knocked on the wrong door, but still said, "I’m looking for Yolanda Greenwood."

"Oh, what’s your na?" Little May asked earnestly.

Cooper Coldson frowned, not knowing what the little one was up to.

"I have to go back and ask Aunt Yolanda, and if she knows you, I’ll let you in," Little May said with a very serious expression on her face.

"I see." Cooper knew he had not knocked on the wrong door, was in a good mood, and after thinking for a mont, he said, "Tell her that Noah Coldson’s big brother has co."

"Okay." Before May closed the door, she reminded Cooper, "Uncle Noah, please wait patiently, I’ll be right back."

She trotted into the bedroom.

"Who is it?" Yolanda Greenwood asked curiously.

"Aunt Yolanda, it’s your big brother Noah Coldson," the little one repeated Cooper’s words with an air of emulation.

"Big brother Noah Coldson?" Yolanda exclaid in excitent, she was about to go down to open the door.

May hurriedly stopped her, "Aunt Yolanda can’t get out of bed. I’ll call him in, don’t move."

Yolanda Greenwood couldn’t help but laugh.

She didn’t expect Noah to co, and for a mont, she was sowhat happy and sowhat touched.

Actually, having been lying down all morning, her condition seed not to have improved, feeling her heartbeat was especially fast, and she was very restless.

If Noah had co, her heart would have been sowhat settled.

Soon, Little May ca back after opening the door, and when Yolanda saw the man behind her, the smile on her face instantly solidified.

"Why is it you?"

Cooper naturally noticed the change in her expression and, unhappily, retorted, "What? Disappointed to see it’s not Noah?"

"You’re completely nonsensical." Yolanda Greenwood lay back down, visibly angry.

Little May looked at both of them and quickly realized sothing, "Aunt Yolanda, he’s not Uncle Noah?"

"He’s not," Yolanda responded tersely.

Upon hearing this, Little May imdiately wanted to send Cooper away, "You’re a bad uncle, you need to leave right away."

Cooper just stood there, immovable like a mountain, and Little May couldn’t budge him.

"May," Yolanda called out to her, "Let it go, I know this uncle too, let him stay."

"Oh." Little May made a face at Cooper and then ran to stay by Yolanda’s side.

Cooper found a place to sit on his own, feeling sowhat depressed.

His behavior just now, lying, was not only childish but also not his style, he didn’t know what had gotten into him.

Did he actually want to beco Noah Coldson?

Thinking about this, he beca even less cheerful, sitting there sulking, the atmosphere in the room instantly beca more oppressive.

Little May seed a bit scared and clutched Yolanda Greenwood’s hand tightly.

Yolanda knew Cooper didn’t like children and whispered to May, "Do you want to go out and play? Or go ho for a while? Co back after this uncle leaves."

Little May timidly glanced at Cooper and quickly nodded in agreent.

She skirted around him and left.

In the room, only Yolanda and Cooper remained, making the atmosphere even more awkward.

"Why did you co?" Yolanda took the initiative to ask, "How did you know I live here?"

Cooper looked at her, not wanting to answer either of her questions.

Instead, he just started asking, "What’s wrong with you? Are you feeling ill? Is there a problem with the baby?"

Yolanda was very annoyed by his selfish behavior.

She didn’t want to deal with him anymore and simply turned over, lying down and said coldly, "Please close the door when you leave."

Cooper gritted his teeth, he had heard she was unwell and had co specifically to see her, only to be t with this attitude?

He asked fiercely, "If Noah had co today, would you be trying to get rid of him so quickly?"

Yolanda thought he was being ridiculous and didn’t bother answering.

Cooper persisted, striding to the bedside, he directly pulled Yolanda up from the bed, "I’m asking you, would you be this unwelcoming if it were Noah?"

"Of course not!" Yolanda was infuriated. This man was being absolutely ridiculous.

Was it she who had invited him over? Since he ca, why did he insist on arguing with her? What was the point?

She pointed to the door, instructing him to leave, "You’re right; you’re not welco here, please leave imdiately."

Cooper, biting his teeth, wanted to continue his outburst, but noticed Yolanda’s complexion didn’t look good.

In an instant, his heart softened.

"What’s really going on with you? Is there... a problem with the baby?" His tone softened as he asked.

"That’s none of your business!" Yolanda was still furious.

Yet this sentence twisted at Cooper’s heart like a knife.

Exactly, Yolanda was carrying Noah’s child, and now she was unwell because of the baby, all of this had nothing to do with him from start to finish.

If the father Noah wasn’t even here, what business did he have interfering?

He stepped back, turned around, and left.

As he reached the bedroom door, he stopped, turned his head to look at Yolanda, and said deliberately cruelly, "Yolanda Greenwood, ever since you got pregnant, you’ve suffered a lot. Have you ever thought this is God’s will, that Heaven doesn’t want you to give birth to this child?"

After saying this, Cooper strode away.

Yolanda Greenwood just sat on the bed, tears streaming down without her noticing.

She felt ice-cold all over, with an increasing discomfort in her lower abdon.

Her child, even before being born, had been cursed by its father... How could this be?

No sooner had Cooper left than Little May ca back.

Seeing Yolanda crying, she imdiately climbed onto the bed to comfort her, "Aunt Yolanda, what’s wrong? Why are you crying? Did that liar uncle bully you?"

Yolanda Greenwood quickly wiped her tears, "It’s nothing, Auntie’s fine."

"Aunt Yolanda, I’ve seen that man before," Little May suddenly said.

"Is that so?" Yolanda was slightly surprised, and asked with curiosity, "Where did you see him?"

Little May shook her head, "I don’t rember."

"It doesn’t matter." If Cooper could find this place, it ant he had been here before, and Yolanda guessed that Little May must have seen him then.

She lay back down, feeling extrely exhausted.

"May, Auntie is going to sleep for a while now."

"Okay, then May will be good and quiet," Little May promptly raised her hand to promise; she really didn’t want to go ho to be alone.

"Good girl!" Yolanda patted Little May’s head and then closed her eyes.

She had a terrible dream where a fearso bear was at the head of her bed, and this bear viciously swallowed her and her child.

When she awoke, it was already dark and Little May had gone ho.

Leah Diaz ca in upon hearing noise, "Yolanda, are you awake? What’s wrong? Did you have a nightmare?"

"Yeah." Yolanda, drenched in a cold sweat, struggled to sit up, wanting to walk around, but as soon as she moved, she felt a wet warmth beneath her – it was clear she was bleeding again.

How could this be?

Logically, after three months and keeping up with regular check-ups, the baby shouldn’t have any problems.

Yolanda’s ears echoed with Cooper’s words before he left, could it be true... her child couldn’t be born?
