"Really?" the little one was overjoyed.
Though young, she knew how well Yolanda Greenwood treated her and had always wanted to give Yolanda a gift.
But she had nothing, and now that soone had prepared a gift for her, she was especially happy.
Seeing her seeming so naive, lissa Greenwood felt disdain in her heart, but her face showed nothing but admiration, "Of course. Our May is such a good girl."
She tucked the little bear into May’s little backpack, "But May, promise , this is our secret. If Aunt Yolanda asks, can you say the gift is from May herself? Is that okay?"
May tilted her head, "Why?"
"Because that way, Aunt Yolanda will be really happy, a gift prepared by May herself has more sincerity." Deceiving a two or three-year-old child was a piece of cake for lissa Greenwood.
Little May quickly agreed.
At last, lissa Greenwood cautioned May again, "Rember, even Daddy can’t know, okay?"

"Okay." Little May was very happy.
However, that night, Yolanda slept restlessly, feeling so discomfort in her abdon.
Next morning, she noticed she had had a miscarriage the previous night.

Leah entered the eting room only to find Cooper Coldson was also there.
Candy briefly explained that designers from Coldson Group were visiting their company to observe their current work environnt to help design a new global factory.
Candy had a very important eting that morning and planned to have Leah show Cooper and the others around.
"Director," Leah followed Candy out of the eting room, "Why is Cooper here too? My level isn’t suitable to host him, right?"
Candy was also surprised, otherwise, she wouldn’t have arranged other tasks that morning.
"Just lead them for now, I’ll finish my work and join you soon," she arranged temporarily.
"By the way, how’s Yolanda? Nothing serious, I hope?" she asked concernedly.
"She’s alright, probably just tired from that day," Leah watched Candy leave, then steeled herself to return to the eting room.
"President Coldson, designers, shall we go?" She was clearly a bit tense.

He had followed Yolanda’s car last ti and knew she lived on the fourth floor.
Arriving downstairs, Cooper hesitated for a while before slowly ascending the stairs.
He didn’t know why he had co, but thinking of Yolanda being unwell, he wanted to see her.
Reaching the fourth floor, he raised his hand and knocked on the door.
Soon, Little May opened the door from inside, looking up at the tall man and timidly asked, "Uncle, who are you looking for?"
