Sienna Paxton frowned slightly. "Caleb said this approach really could trigger a strong reaction, speeding up your mory recovery, but it’s risky. If we’re not careful, it could traumatize you even more. Your psychological issues might not heal—they might actually get worse. Silas, we can’t rush into this."

Silas shook his head without a mont’s hesitation. "Sienna, I’m not afraid. Plus, I believe that with your help, I’ll get my mories back very soon. Yesterday, just coming to your house made flashes of our ti together start appearing in my mind. If I get a bit more stimulation, I think I’ll rember so much more."

Sienna, things are urgent now—we don’t have other options. Granddad’s waiting on us to bring him ho. The Prescott Group needs back at the helm. Trust , I’ll get better."

Hearing this, Caden Sinclair let out a dry chuckle. "Of course you believe—because you aren’t even amnesiac. You’re just using this as an excuse for Sienna to fall in love with you all over again. Silas, we’re both n here, don’t think I can’t see through your sches."

Silas looked at Sienna with wounded eyes. "Sienna, I didn’t. Please believe ."

While he spoke, he rubbed his face against Sienna’s shoulder.

His mouth turned down sadly, and soon his eyes brimd with tears.

His voice trembled with boundless hurt. "Sienna, you’re not going to be like them, are you? You believe what I say, right? You won’t let almost die at the hands of those kidnappers, will you?"

With just one sentence, Sienna wavered on the decision she’d just made.

Silas’s psychological trauma all stemd from being abandoned by his parents during the kidnapping—they didn’t believe him, ignored his cries for help.

And so, he ended up nearly being killed by the kidnappers.

This kind of massive trauma doesn’t heal easily. What Silas needs now is trust and redemption.

Sienna gently stroked Silas’s head, her tone warm and gentle. "I believe you. But you have to promise to listen to through this, you can’t act on impulse."

With her permission, Silas was suddenly like a child who’s gotten a reward, nodding excitedly, over and over. "Okay, I’ll listen to you. Sienna, can I kiss you now?"

As he spoke, he cupped Sienna’s face in both hands, leaning in to kiss her.

Sienna startled, quickly pushing him away. "Silas, there are so many people here, you need to mind yourself!"

Silas glanced back at Caden and Lucy Rhodes, who were openly watching them, then complained, "Don’t you two know when to make yourselves scarce? How are you so clueless?"

Caden, seeing Silas push his luck, ground his teeth. "Silas, if I ever find out you’re faking this amnesia to trick Sienna, I won’t let you get away with it."

Lucy, annoyed, smacked him. "Stop saying my brother’s faking it, or I’ll sew your mouth shut! Go cook, or you won’t get dinner."

She handed Caden an apron and dragged him off to the kitchen.

Julian Prescott smiled, eyes crinkling as he gave Silas a thumbs-up.

Silas took Sienna’s hand and led her into the bedroom.

Their eyes t; breath tangled together.

Even the air in the room felt thick and sticky.

Silas gently caressed Sienna’s cheek, his voice rough and low. "Sienna, I don’t know how to kiss. Will you teach ?"

His ridiculously handso face flashed a dangerously seductive smile, and his clear dark eyes brimd with desire.

In that mont, Sienna couldn’t tell if this was ten-year-old Silas, or thirty-two-year-old Silas.

Sienna softly called his na. "Silas."

Silas pressed his forehead to hers, breath burning hot. "Sienna, I’m right here."

She felt his breath, felt him close, and her heartbeat sped up uncontrollably.

Her breathing faltered. "Silas, what are you feeling right now?"

With his nose, Silas nuzzled Sienna’s cheek. "I think... I see us, back then. We were in this house, on this sofa. I kissed you, and couldn’t let go."

His gaze burned into hers. "Sienna, I think I saw you crying, begging to go easier on you. But don’t worry, this ti, I won’t be so rough. I’ll be gentle."

Hearing those words, Sienna was certain now—being close to her really did help Silas recover his mories.

She didn’t hesitate. She tipped up her head, stretched on tiptoe, and planted a soft kiss on Silas’s lips.

Then she looped her arms around his neck, staring deep into his eyes. "Silas."

"Hmm?"

"Open your mouth."

Silas obediently parted his lips, eyes so dark it was like they were ablaze as he watched her.

Sienna laid kiss after kiss on Silas’s mouth.

Starting with a light peck, then licking gently, then finally pushing deeper.

Every movent, Sienna took the lead; Silas simply yielded, clumsily trying to et her kiss.

Sienna felt a jab of pain at her tongue and gasped. "Silas, you hurt ."

Silas stopped right away, apologizing. "Sorry—I don’t really know how. Maybe I’ll get it with practice. Sienna, you just taught —now I’ll turn in my howork."

With that, he put a big hand on the back of her head and kissed her deeply, full of emotion.

This ti, he took charge—possessive, intense—the kind of man no woman could resist.

Soon, Sienna was lost in his kiss.

She didn’t know how long passed before she broke away, eyes red, staring up at him.

Her breath coming hard. "Silas, did you rember anything?"

Silas’s dark eyes still swirled with raw desire, his voice hoarse and deep. "I rembered the first ti I saw you at the Prescott ho. You were so pure, blush just from a touch. I thought, this sweet, soft girl...if she could be my wife one day, wouldn’t that be perfect?"

Sienna’s eyes widened in disbelief. "So you rembered? Are you the grown-up Silas now?"

Silas shook his head. "Not completely. I only rembered bits and pieces of you. Everything else is still a blur. Maybe, if we keep getting close like this, I’ll rember more."

"So this thod actually works?"

Silas nodded. "If it works this well, Sienna, should we try again? Please?"

He was about to lower his head and kiss her again when the bedroom door suddenly opened.

Julian Prescott tumbled into the room, followed by Lucy Rhodes, stumbling after him.

Only Caden, tall and solid, braced himself on the doorway and didn’t fall.

Interrupted, Silas’s eyes turned cold. "Who told you to eavesdrop?"

Lucy grinned awkwardly. "Bro, we were just worried about you—so ca to check. Go ahead, we’ll leave you to continue!"

Julian shrunk his neck, guilty, saying, "Mom, Dad—make sure you kiss a lot! That way my little sister will be in Mommy’s belly soon!"

With that, they all hurried off, sheepish.

The room grew quiet again. Silas’s gaze locked hotly onto Sienna.

He traced her cheek with his fingertip. "Sienna, Julian wants a little sister. Should we give him what he wants tonight?"

Sienna frowned a little. "Silas, you promised —you wouldn’t rush into things."

Silas nodded once. "Okay, I’ll do whatever you say."

His long fingers idly toyed with the necklace on Sienna’s neck, eyes glued to the pendant. "Sienna, is there a picture of inside this?"
